“.88 Chobani yogurt
4-5.3oz. Chobani yogurt cups (ad shows regular Greek round cups) are .88 each.”
the ad specifies “when you buy 8 or more”. not an issue for Flips, if applicable, where you’d be buying 10+ for the e-giftcard anyway.
——-
“Yoplait 8ct. original yogurt cups, Yoplait Go-Gurt 4-16oz. and Dannon Danimals Smoothies 12ct. are $3.99. Use the $2 Mariano’s 5X ecoupon and pay $1.99. For the Go-Gurt, stack that with the $1 coupon from the 1/5 SS2 and pay .99!”
an alternative is $2-off-2 coupons.com for the 8-count fridge packs and the go-gurts. that SS2 cpn should cover fridge packs as well, per CouponTom.
——
also after Limit 5x e-coupon, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks are $0.99 (and Mott’s and Gushers are pictured).
if indeed a store cpn, stack with “01-05 S2 , Feb 29 , Betty Crocker Fruit Shapes, Fruit By The Foot, Gushers or Fruit Roll Ups Fruit Flavored Snacks or Sunkist Fruit Flavored Snacks , $1.00 /2”. surprised Mott’s aren’t mentioned in the coupon; dunno what to think there.

– or on the yogurt, a $1-off-1 manufacturer e-coupon expiring 2/14 (dunno if still clippable).
– similar deal on the fruit snacks: $1-off-2 mfg e-cpn: “SAVE $1.00 on 2 General Mills Fruit Snacks: when you buy TWO (2) BOXES Betty Crocker™ Fruit Shapes, Fruit by the Foot™, Fruit Gushers™ or Fruit Roll-Ups™ Fruit Flavored Snacks, Mott’s® Fruit Flavored Snacks OR Sunkist® Fruit Flavored Snacks, any flavor/variety or size.” , expires 2/14. (again, dunno whether clippable.)
the store 5X e-coupon was belated showing up for me, which is odd.

confirming that the 5X e-coupons for Yoplait yogurts and the General Mills fruit snacks are indeed Store. likewise for the Post cereals and Sargento shreds/slices/balanced breaks.

I am so hopping mad…haven’t been this disappointed since when Walgreens had restricted how many points you could redeem at one time to $5 (they’ve since updated it). Just went to Mariano’s in Crystal Lake. I had four coupons that were printed from Coupon.com which many times you provide a link. They said they can no longer take these type of coupons I printed off my HP at work (we use black ink not colored). Manager made this one time exception because she said they just had a meeting about this the other day. I suggested they may want to indicate changes of couponing on their website on the page where we look at their e-coupons. The new rule is that any printed coupons must be in colored ink and have a watermark present on them. Okay are acceptable coupons ones that now need to be issued by the U.S. Treasury Dept.
I shop quite frequently and I rarely see people use coupons at all these days. So what is the alarm all about. I rely more on e-coupons now because I don’t need 3/4 of the ones they put in the inserts since they are mostly non-food items. I use to have 20 coupons when I shopped, then ten, now lucky I have two a shopping trip….now it looks like none. :(

UGH. I just used printables there last week, and I have a black-and-white laser printer that is my primary coupon-printing printer.
>> The new rule is that any printed coupons must be in colored ink and have a watermark present on them. < < Are they talking about the in-the-paper watermark that comes from the ones Coupons.com mails in the postal mail (very infrequently as part of other promos?) So even if you have a full-color printable, they won't take it? That's really, really disappointing. For what it's worth, their coupon policy does not say anything about this (yet) - https://www.marianos.com/topic/coupon-policy
Which location do you shop, if you don’t mind me asking?

Crystal Lake

Lovely. That’s my local Mariano’s too..!

That’s insane. I wish stores would educate their employees about how to check printed coupons for the UNIQUE numbers. I only go to Mariano’s in Frankfort once every few months, and only if I have to go to Orland or Tinley Park, since they are 45 minutes from me. But…I do shop at Kroger, which is the same owner, all the time and I hope they don’t adopt this same policy. They already will not allow a PRINTED coupon for more than 75% of the price of an item. They also used to give overage on insert coupons but now just REJECT any coupon over the price! They also will not take a coupon on any clearance item, so basically they are saying they don’t want my business!
I assume they meant (Mariano’s) they will not take a FREE printed coupon, since it does not contain the watermark like the ones you get every so often from the company. That, I agree with, but the coupons.com printed in black should be accepted if the numbers are different.

checking in-store (shelf tags) and then confirming on website, the Chobani Flips are not on sale: no $0.88 bulk price, nor $1.00 individual price. just regular $1.19.

a 5X Store e-coupon, good thru 2/18, is:
“Save $0.50 on Sargento Shred, Slice, or Balanced Breaks
When you buy ONE (1) Sargento Shred (5-8oz), Slice (6-8oz), or Balanced Breaks (4.5oz), any variety”
note that a 4oz Sunrise Balanced Breaks is included in eligible products list. and the local store is clearing out 3 of its 4 Sunrise Balanced Breaks (just watch out for expiration dates!):
1) colby jack cheese, coconut clusters with seed medley, & dried cranberries. 4oz (113g) or 3 x 1.36oz (38g). = $2.27, has tag up. just 1 left at my store, and it’s expired.
2) medium cheddar cheese, raisins, & maple pumpkin seeds. 4.5oz (127g) or 3 x 1.5oz (42g). = $0.87, no clearance or even sale tag. had iirc 2 unexpired ones left, and i bought both.
3) monterey jack cheese, walnut oat granola, with dark chocolate & golden raisins. 4.5oz (127g) or 3 x 1.5oz (42g). = $0.87, again no tag indicating discount. had iirc 4 unexpireds remaining, and i bought 3.
yeah, the dates on these things range HUGELY, from early April 2020 to June 2019 (!!), with at least half across the 3 types being in the expired category. the failure to put up clearance tags, along with expired junk deterring less determined shoppers, no doubt both contributed to me being able to walk away with 5 items @ $0.37 each. :P
