Regarding Lubriderm. .. I tried using the Coupon.com coupons I had that were $2 off on Friday last week because this deal was going on then. It was nuts at the store Friday and was using self-checkout so cashier had to put them in. I got my butt reamed out (he was trying to be polite if you can call it that) for even attempting to use them because they will no longer take the black printed coupons. I told him that I looked up their coupon policy on line and it didn’t mention this. They are treating the two printed coupons as if I made multiple xerox copies. He did offer to take the coupons this one time and then in his haste gave me another $5 dollars off (not sure why). and warned me “never do that again”. I think he realized how he sounded and I wasn’t making that big of fuss just was questioning it. So be aware. This is the Crystal Lake location.

Sheesh. If they are not going to accept black-and-white printables anymore, they really need to put that in their policy. :(

Does this mean that they WILL take internet coupons printed in COLOR?
Or do they no longer accept ANY printed coupons.

The incident above is the second time for me that this happened. The first was a couple of weeks ago using the Nature Valley coupons and I was told by a manager that a cashier alerted that they will only take colored printed coupons that have a “water mark” on them. I actually said to her well that’s strange cause the only water marking I know of is done by the US Treasury Dept when printing money. Thinking that was an isolated incident in which maybe the manager was misinformed or misunderstood their own coupon policy and after I went on line to view the coupon policy thinking it was changed (it wasn’t), I tried again. Next week I will try using a colored internet coupon and report back. Its sad, the last time I went on coupon.com, there were only 15 food coupons. Back in the day there were over 100 on any given day. And correct me if I’m wrong, many stores have their own e-coupons….don’t they get access to these through coupon.com or direct from the manufacturer?

You are correct that stores that have the same electronic coupon offers that you’d find as Coupons.com printables are receiving them from Quotient, which is Coupons.com’s parent company. However, getting a cashier to understand that because their store has a .50 ecoupon for granola bars, while you also have the same printable coupon for the same granola bars, means that it’s pretty likely they are both current, legitimate offers — is probably a stretch.
