Today I was Mariano’s and I bought 5 boxes of the Nature Valley bars that are on sale for $1.29 with the e-coupon. To my surprise the cashier handed me back a $3 catalina. It said save $3 on your next shopping order compliments of Nature Valley! It makes the current deal even better 😊

Also check your digital coupons on Mariano’s website, I found 2 separate coupons for Schick disposable razors $4 off. Combine them with the store e-coupon and the razors are $.99 after store and mfg q’s.

the following mostly is not specific to mariano’s, but can have some use in the current sale.
in early July, General Mills posted their SavingStar rebates for the usual assortment of product lines (Big G cereals, Chex Mix and other snacks, Pillsbury, Yoplait, Larabar, Betty Crocker fruit snacks, Nature Valley, Old El Paso, etc.). they were for the usual $0.50 to $1.50 off of 1 to 3 items, but something was different: they’re all One or Many offers! (note that if you’re using the APP as opposed to the website, a “buy 1” offer is not VISIBLY one or many until you click on its details.) it’s likely a typo/fat finger and for this month only, but let’s not worry about that now.
what does this special property mean? two things:
1) you no longer have the burden of buying those 2 cereals or fruit & nut bars in a single trip. :P
2) for a few years now, savingstar offers are not meant to be stacked with manufacturer coupons or other rebates. ah, but One or Manys are an exception! see, they’re more of an overarching thing: get rewarded near-term with $1 off 2 boxes, but rack up $20 in purchases, *and* receive another, longer-term reward of $4, for instance.

if you have a coupons.com printable, a mariano’s e-coupon, or a flier coupon for one of the items covered in these savingstars, #2 presents an excellent stacking opportunity! general mills small-sized one-or-many offers still clippable on SavingStar are: Nature Valley granola, Big G cereals, Old El Paso dinner kits or taco bowls, Larabar single bars, Chex Mix/Bugles/Gardetto’s/Food Should Taste Good, and Larabar multi-packs.
the best pairings are probably big g cereals, larabar single bars, and chex mix/etc., as those have sales or store coupons AND manufacturer coupons.
other nice stacking options are betty crocker/general mills fruit snacks/roll-ups, yoplait (cups or go-gurt tubes), and various Annie’s snacks, IF you clipped their savingstars previously.
the nature valley granola has no sale but does have an e-coupon, ditto for old el paso, the larabar multi-packs have a feeble sale, and the pillsbury “eat raw or bake” cookie and brownie dough (S.S. no longer cliippable) had its sale end last week with the Buy 5+, Save $1 each.
i can personally attest to successfully claiming the One-Or-Manys for Pillsbury and single Larabars from a 7/21 purchase redeemed 7/24, despite the manufacturer e-coupons clearly showing on my receipt.
EDIT: no idea what happens if you activate TWO relevant one-or-manys for a given item (e.g. the $1-off-2 and the $5-off-25 for big g cereals), btw.
while i suspect this July opportunity is a typo or other mistake, it’s also a nice curiosity for a type of One or Many i never knew existed. most take the format “$X One or Many Spend $Y” in their description; however, these are an alternate “$X One or Many Buy Z”. and on your Activations page, “$M.MM Spent” changes to “N.N Bought”.

dannon oikos triple zero 4-packs are on sale for $3.50. they’re part of a $1-off-2 (store) e-coupon, limit 5. until a few days ago, coupons.com had a $1.25-off-1 mfg printable, expiring 8/20/20. there was also a Mariano’s e-coupon for same, but i used mine a couple weeks ago, so don’t remember the expiration. buy 2, and pay $1.75 final price for each.
