The meijer deal with Garnier… I did this deal today at my store (melrose pk) and I received the $10.00 catalina plus I was able to receive the free goodie product for every 3 Garnier bought. So my deal went like this: I bought 4 Garnier shampoos, 3 Garnier conditioners, 2 goodie products (under $4.99) I used #7 Garnier coupons ($2/1) I pd $6.93 & received a $10.00 catalina. I then used the $10.00 Catalina to do another round. The Catalina is not rolling!!! So hopefully some will be able to go out today to get an even better deal.

Savings Star is no longer offering the Lysol deal.

If you loaded it prior to it hitting the load limit, it will likely still be there.

Thanks for headsup on Garnier Fructis hair products deal. I haven’t shopped Meijers much and was set to do more budgeting 2016 and not stock pile so much (I also am a personal shopper for my sister-in-law, mom and sister both of whom do not travel much from home). But how can anyone resist some of these sales for things we use all the time. So knowing half of these great deals there are no rainchecks (one of my biggest complaints of sales at Meijers).
So off I went early the first day and was able to purchase 8 shampoo/conditioners for free. Haven’t done the skin care products as I forgot to clip those and bring them with me. An elderly gentlemen was there early and was purchasing at least 50 different items. He was in a wheel chair and had a smaller cart so he could move around. I helped him with a few items that were high up. I presumed he was purchasing for others because bald men usually do not need mens extra hold hair spray. I had to admire his efforts. Here I have family members who are struggling and complaining about costs of things. Shown them several times how some of these deals worked and offer to cut out the coupons and send them to them. But no…its too much work. Funny how some people who would benefit the most from couponing, seem to have no time at all….with most of them on fixed incomes and not working.
Their loss, someone else’s gain I guess

I also have some rotten, lazy relatives that don’t coupon, but want stuff that I was going to donate to the needy and cry if I don’t give them some “free” or nearly free stuff, …but they sure watch the price of gas though… :*)
I can’t figure out why people watch the price of gas so closely, where if it’s 5 cents difference from one station to another, they can save a WHOLE $1.00 by going to the lower station and are proud of that $1.00…
…But they have NO CLUE how to shop and waste some much more than that by just walking into a store and grabbing food & putting it into a cart.
When gas hit $4+ a gallon, I was thinking they should start selling it by the quart, just like how packaged good had been downsized to keep the price to appear lower. My employer used the price of gas last month to lay off 2,000 people this month which was in a Forbes article.
We are all watching it.
Most employers are basically giving a cost of living increases if they are giving any, and healthcare continues to go up along with most taxes.
70% of people who invest either broke even or lost money last year.
Most 401k were down 6% in the 1st 3 weeks this year.
The average american only has $91,000 in their retirement account.
Meaning the average american lost close to $6,000 with the downturn, and recession looks like a strong possibility for 2016 even though it’s an election year.
Lots of people are pulling out cash from the market & sitting on it until the bottom is reached.
Thank goodness we can all save some $ by couponing!
See you in the aisles folks,
-Mark

At lunch today I did the shampoo deal as well.
I had 8 of the SAME $2 off Garnier Fructis shampoo, conditioner or treatment coupons.
As I looked closer at the extra one I had left over, it had the limit of 4 terms on it…and didn’t notice until AFTER the transaction!
I’m closing in on 50 and finally bought reading glasses last year.
:*(
So make sure you use 3 other coupons if you are using 4 of the $2 off Garnier Fructis shampoo, conditioner or treatment coupons from the 1/10 RP.
Between these & the Panatene deal at CVS, I’m set on my shampoo for awhile & will donate a few bottles as well.

I *think* the catalina for the Tradewinds Tea doesn’t start until 1/25/16. Anyone know for sure?
Coupon Maven says
That is correct – it begins Monday, 1/25. I updated the deal above as a reminder too – thanks!

For those doing the Garnier deal…check your MPerks…there is a $4/20 coupon hair care available!

AWESOME – even better! I will add this above :) Thanks!

As mentioned earlier, the $10 Catalina doesn’t “roll” and noted you can only use one of them per transaction. So if you do this deal a couple of times be aware of how you want to redeem them in the future.
