Note that because Meijer doesn’t allow you to use a coupon on a free item, the 11th participating item the cashier scans at the checkout lane IS your free item. So, pay attention to the order you put things on the belt if you plan to use coupons on your 10-for-$10 items.

Mine is the new Bradley, IL store. I also read on another blog that they also had $1.97 blueberries. Though sometimes when we go in our store lately, strawberries or raspberries have been much cheaper than the ad says. I thought this was just a local price related to the grand opening? Hmmmmm……..I will check today to see what we have for berry prices. I always hope for Driscoll’s brand, so I can use my $1 coupons!

Bradley Meijer had Driscoll’s blackberries 6 oz. 5/$5, making 2 free with my coupons! Also Driscoll’s 16 oz. strawberries were 3/$5, so only 66c each if you have the $1 survey coupons. They do limit you to 2 like coupons, so I will go back tomorrow. I got a bunch of cheap strawberries last week so I made a batch of freezer jam. It was my first attempt and it turned out great!

*oh….the blueberries were as priced in my ad; $1.97, and not Driscoll’s.

I have a question about the upcoming weekend sale at Meijer. They show Coffeemate creamers BOGO, so if I have a coupon for a BOGO, how will that work? Can I buy 3 and only pay for 1 with my coupon in addition to their sale? Thanks!

*I tried to use that coupon at Kroger yesterday but it would not scan and she denied it. It was from an email they sent me for being in their club (Coffeemate) Lately at Meijer almost all of my printed coupons do NOT scan. Even 1 of my insert coupons for the GM cereal beeped come to think of it. Luckily my cashier manually entered it but it makes me mad when they question if my coupons are valid. Have you had this at your store as well?

I did the buy 10 get 11th item free today and made sure to put 2 celery and 2 mushrooms on belt LAST, yet the register still took off my free item on a coupon item (Bush’s beans) I had loaded to Mperks. There was a 55c/1 digital and I also had 1 paper coupon for $1/1 for the beans (I bought 2 cans) but the register took off .45 right after the .55 Mperks came off saying “free item” right under it. My receipt shows 2 mushrooms as scanning last. I guess it doesn’t matter which order you put them on belt if there is a Mperks loaded? Petty issue, just irks me when you try to save the most, lol!
