Walgreens Store Coupon Deals

Notes on Walgreens store coupons and electronic coupons

Walgreens store coupons can be found in the monthly Instant Value Coupon (IVC) coupon book in the front of the store (small, about checkbook-sized) which comes out each month. You can also load the store coupons to your Balance Rewards card online at Walgreens' website.

You only need one Walgreens store coupon per item at Walgreens. A store coupon for $1.00 off Scope mouthwash will take $1 off every bottle you buy in the same shopping trip. Store coupons can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for additional savings.

There are also manufacturer ecoupons available to load to your card at Walgreens.com. Electronic manufacturer coupons cannot be stacked with paper manufacturer coupons.

Balance Rewards Deals

Notes on Balance Rewards points

Walgreens Balance Rewards points accrue on your Balance Rewards card when you buy featured items in the ad each week. Every 1000 points is worth $1.00. You can "cash out" (spend) your Balance Rewards points in increments of $1.00 too.

1000 points = $1.00
2000 points = $2.00
3000 points = $3.00
4000 points = $4.00
5000 points = $5.00

Your points expire 12 months after they are earned or if an account has been inactive for 6 months. Learn more about Balance Rewards at this link.

Register your card at Walgreens' site to receive 10 points for every $1 spent in store too.

Walgreens Beauty Enthusiast Club

Join Walgreens' Beauty Enthusiast club and earn 5000 Balance Rewards points ($5) for every $50 spent on beauty and personal care products at Walgreens. Get a 20X Everyday Points digital coupon when you sign up too.

.49 Crest toothpaste and mouthwash

Crest toothpaste and mouthwashes (no sizes in ad) are $2.99 each. Buy two and get $4 in Register Rewards. Use the $1 coupon from the 1/27 PG. Pay $4.98 and get $4 back. That's .98 for two, or .49 each.

Notes on Register Rewards

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction. Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards. You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing.

Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Crest. If I use it to buy more Crest, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Crest reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, a Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

Load your Walgreens e-coupons for an extra $1.00 since you can only use 1 paper coupon, This way you get 2 freebies when you buy 1 toothpaste & 1 mouthwash in a transaction.
Since there is one of each coupon of mouthwash & toothpaste per account, you can probably do this 2x if you have 2 paper coupons & do it in 2 visits for 4 freebies. I’d only clip 1 e-coupon & then do a transaction, & then the next e-coupon for the 2nd transaction. I haven’t tried it yet, but it should work fine.

There are no “Jack Links jerky” coupons in any of the inserts from 1/27/2019. I looked in Smart Source and Retail Me Not from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Northwest Herald, Daily Herald and Waukegan News-Sun. None to be found anywhere.

  The Jack Link’s jerky coupon is in 1/20 SmartSource. (My coupons are from Chgo Tribune and it’s on the bottom of the page – Palmolive coupons are above it.)
