I don't like the new ad - do you?

It seems that Walgreens is no longer offering a print version of their ad - even online! The new "ad" is merely a digital list of what's on sale -- and it's VERY short!

$1.49 All laundry detergent

Select All or Snuggle (no size in ad, but looks like 30 load) are $2.99. Use the $1.50 Walgreens ecoupon or the $1.50 coupon from the 10/24 SV and drop these to $1.49.

$3.33 Pantene

Pantene haircare (no size in ad, but looks like the larger bottles) are $5.99 or 3-for-$15. Buy three and use the $5-off-3 Walgreens ecoupon to drop these to $10 for three, or about $3.33 each.

Walgreens Store Coupon Deals

$3.25 Scott bath tissue or $3.75 paper towels, Kleenex

Scott 12 big roll bath tissue, 6 roll paper towels, or Kleenex 3-pack bundles are $5. Use the $1.25 IVC store coupon and drop them to $3.75. For bath tissue, stack that with the .50 coupon from the 10/10 SS and pay $3.25.

Notes on Walgreens store coupons and electronic coupons

Walgreens store coupons can be found in the monthly Instant Value Coupon (IVC) coupon book in the front of the store (small, about checkbook-sized) which comes out each month. You can also load the store coupons to your Balance Rewards card online at Walgreens' website.

You only need one Walgreens store coupon per item at Walgreens. A store coupon for $1.00 off Scope mouthwash will take $1 off every bottle you buy in the same shopping trip. Store coupons can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for additional savings.

There are also manufacturer ecoupons available to load to your card at Walgreens.com. Electronic manufacturer coupons cannot be stacked with paper manufacturer coupons.

I didn’t like the printed ad on line, but this week is worse. I will only go there when looking for something specific. I also don’t like CVS giving me a few cents Extra Bucks in each receipt. A much prefer them being saved up.
