Notes on Register Rewards

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction. Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards.
You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing. Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Crest. If I use it to buy more Crest, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Crest reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, a Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.
You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

Will walgreen accept a manufacturer’s coupon from another store (it printed out at target with the target logo but its a manufacturer coupon and doesn’t read “only use at target” on it.
I looked at the walgreens coupon policy and can’t find that it won’t take it.

I had no success with the $30/$10 Huggies Deal. I purchased Pull-ups as pictured but for Girls, Size 2T-3T, Jumbo (25 pack) and Snug&Dry diapers as pictured but in Size 3, Jumbo (34 pack). Catalina Marketing claims these UPCs are ineligible for the promotion:

Pull-ups, UPC 03600041243
Snug&Dry diapers, UPC 03600043087

I suspect only one of these items is ineligible, but Catalina Marketing refused to let me know. Was there a possible UPC change? Good luck!

  Ugh. So sorry to hear that you had trouble with this deal. Years ago, Jewel used to share UPC lists with us — they were the only store that did though. I will share these UPCs with my bloggers’ Catalina group and see if anyone’s heard anything…

    Now, I am completely baffled. Catalina claims these UPC codes are ineligible, but I visited a different Walgreens and talked to the Shift Lead. She did a test purchase with the same items, and a coupon did print out. Perhaps Catalina’s list which they claim is correct has not been updated.
    
    On another note, it is unclear if the total for the $30/$10 Huggies deal is before or after manufacturer coupons. Customer Service via Live Chat indicates before coupons, but in-store customer service wavers.
