After looking at the deals for today I was excited to see the Oxiclean detergent that could be bought for .99 with a $2 coupon in the weekly SS. This isn’t the first time that I have not been able to find that particular coupon to be able to get the deal. Why is that? Don’t all papers carry the same coupons for places like Walgreens and CVS? I was so disappointed that I couldn’t save money on this,

Which newspaper are you using? The coupons did appear in the Chicago Tribune. There’s also a $2 printable version of this coupon too.
If you’re reading the blog from outside Chicagoland, you will want to be using the largest, big-city newspaper for your area. Unfortunately, smaller, local newspapers typically do not contain the best, highest-value coupons each week. Smaller papers usually have a fraction of the coupons that larger city newspapers do. My deals are written assuming that you are using a major-market city newspaper versus a smaller, local one.
