Twice recently I purchased something at Walgreens for which I downloaded a coupon from their site to my card and the coupon wasn’t credited.
The first time I didn’t notice it until I returned home. It wasn’t a large purchase so I blew it off as a glitch.
Before shopping the next time, I printed out my coupon list and took it with me. Again the coupon I downloaded wasn’t applied. I showed the cashier and manager. The cashier showed me that it didn’t get applied.
Has anyone else experienced this problem with Walgreen’s online coupons?
If it happens a third time, I’m going to decrease my business with them and rely on CVS. Never have a problem with them.

I too have had this issue on numerous occasions with Walgreens — I personally only use their store coupons by clipping them directly from the ad vs. loading them to the card anymore. It’s unfortunate, but I have had the same problem.

It happened to me with the Crest Pro-Health toothpaste.
So now, if those opt-in digital coupons on my account don’t get applied, I ask if they can manually take off the amount when I show them my phone & tell them. And, if they won’t do that, I just ask for a refund on the spot when they won’t adjust.
