Hershey's single candy bars are .79 each. Buy two and use the .79-off-2 ecoupon at Walgreens' site to drop these to about .40 each.

15.25-19oz. Campbell's Chunky soup is $1.99 or 2-for-$3. Buy four and use this $1-off-4 printable to drop these to $1.25 per can.

$1.33 M&Ms

8.42-10.57oz. M&Ms are $2.19 each or 3-for-$6. Buy three and use the $2-off-3 from the 9/16 RM and pay $4 for three, or about $1.33 each.

$1.50 General Mills cereal

8.9-12oz. General Mills cereals (ad shows regular and Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Lucky Charms) are $2.49 each or 2-for-$4. Use this $1-off-2 printable or the ecoupon at Walgreens' site and drop these to $1.50 each.

The 8/26 SS has a .75-off-2, and the 8/12 SS has a $1-off-3 coupon too.

$2 Mars Minis or Fun Size candy

8.4-13.3oz. Mars Minis and Fun Size candies are $3.49 each or 3-for-$8. Buy three and use the $2-off-3 from the 9/16 RM to drop these to $6 for three, or $2 each.

$2.99 Gain laundry detergent

Gain 50-51oz. liquid laundry detergent, 16ct Flings, and 120ct dryer sheets are $4,99, Use the $2 coupon from the 9/9 RM2 or an ecoupon from Walgreens' site and pay $2.99.

$2.99 Persil laundry detergent

Persil 40oz. liquid laundry detergent or 16ct. Power Caps are $4.99. Use the $2 coupon from the 9/16 RM, a printable, another printable , or a SavingStar offer and pay $2.99.

$2.99 Tide

Tide 37-40oz. liquid laundry detergent or 12-16ct. Pods are $4.99. The ad states to use the $2 coupon from the 9/16 insert (will update this when I have Sunday's paper) and pay $2.99.

$3.24 Jack Links jerky

Jack Links 2.5-4oz. jerky is $3.99. Buy two and use the $1.50-off-2 coupon from the 8/26 SS to drop these to $3.24 each.

$4.24 Cottonelle bath tissue

6 mega roll Cottonelle bath tissue (equiv. to 24 regular rolls) are $4.99 each. Use this .75 printable and pay $4.24.

$4.99 Bausch + Lomb eye care

Bausch + Lomb Soothe, Renu, or Biotrue (no sizes in ad) are $8.99. Use the $2 store coupon from the IVC book and stack that with the $2 ecoupon from Walgreens' site. You'll pay $4.99.

Notes on Walgreens store coupons and electronic coupons

Walgreens store coupons can be found in the monthly Instant Value Coupon (IVC) coupon book in the front of the store (small, about checkbook-sized) which comes out each month. You can also load the store coupons to your Balance Rewards card online at Walgreens' website.

You only need one Walgreens store coupon per item at Walgreens. A store coupon for $1.00 off Scope mouthwash will take $1 off every bottle you buy in the same shopping trip. Store coupons can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for additional savings.

There are also manufacturer ecoupons available to load to your card at Walgreens.com. Electronic manufacturer coupons cannot be stacked with paper manufacturer coupons.

Balance Rewards Deals

.74 Irish Spring and Softsoap body washes

Softsoap and Irish Spring body washes 15-18oz. are $3.99 each. Buy two and get 5000 Balance Rewards points ($5.) Buy two. Use two .75 Softsoap printables and/or two .75 Irish Spring printables. Pay $6.48 and get 5000 points back ($5.) That's $1.48 for two, or .74 each!

$2.50 Revlon Colorsilk

Revlon Colorsilk haircolor is 2-for-$6. Buy two and get 1000 Balance Rewards points ($1.) That's $5 for two, or $2.50 each.

$3 Schick razors

3-12ct. Schick razors are $7.99 each or 2-for-$14. Buy two and get 2000 Balance Rewards points ($2.) Use two $3 coupons from the 9/16 SS. Pay $8 and get 2000 points ($2.) That's $6 for two, or $3 each.

$5.75 Excedrin

80-100ct. Excedrin is $11.49 or 2-for-$20. Buy two and get 5000 Balance Rewards points ($5.) Use the $2 ecoupon at Walgreens' site and one $1.50 coupon from the 8/5 RM3. Pay $16.50 and get 5000 points ($5.) That's $11.50 for two, or $5.75 each.

Notes on Balance Rewards points

Walgreens Balance Rewards points accrue on your Balance Rewards card when you buy featured items in the ad each week. Every 1000 points is worth $1.00. You can "cash out" (spend) your Balance Rewards points in increments of $1.00 too. If you allow your points to accrue, they are worth more toward a larger total (must use all points in the same transaction to enjoy this perk):

Always Discreet 9-66ct. underwear and pads are $11.99. Buy two and get $5 in Register Rewards. Use two $3 coupons from the 8/26 PG (there's a $3 ecoupon at Walgreens' site too.) Pay $17.98 and get $5 back. That's $12.98 for two, or $6.49 each.

Notes on Register Rewards

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction. Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards. You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing.

Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Crest. If I use it to buy more Crest, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Crest reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, a Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

Unfortunately, the Irish Spring coupon is a “no go.” Jill, your link works to irishspring.com, but when you click to get the coupon it returns an “Page Not Found” $1.50 per bottle is still a good price after the Balance Rewards. Thanks for all you do!
