Walgreens Register Rewards Deals

Notes on Register Rewards

You will only receive one Register Reward per offer per transaction. Example: A name-brand box of cereal generates a $1 Register Reward. Buying three identical boxes will not generate three $1 rewards.

You cannot use Register Rewards to pay for items made by the same manufacturer. This will prevent the next set of Register Rewards from printing. Example: I have a $1 Register Reward that I received buying Colgate. If I use it to buy more Colgate, the register will not generate another reward, as the first Colgate reward prevents it from printing. Now, if I used a Crest Reward to buy Colgate, the Colgate Reward would print. I could then use that to buy Crest, and so on.

You can receive multiple Register Rewards in the same transaction, provided they are separate offers. I can buy a box of cereal that generates a Register Reward, a tube of toothpaste that generates a Register Reward, and a bottle of shampoo that generates a Register Reward -- all in the same transaction -- as long as they are different offers in the same ad.

Was the $2 Crest Coupon on a separate sheet cause the actual P&G insert only had a $.50 coupon in it.

It’s not in the P&G – it’s in the 9/13 RP2. My apologies — I am SO behind from traveling and have been scrambling to get caught up. I have edited it above too.

As much as I like taking off for a few days here and there, the reality is that I blog 50-60 hours a week. Any time off from that schedule, and I fall behind..! Writing matchups is the most time-consuming part of my week. I’m working to get everything up and done.

Xtra is $1.49 at Walgreens. There is a $1/2 (for the under 75 oz) in the 8/9 SS. But get this, not in the Tribune inserts…it was in the Hoy. So I only had one.

I just wanted to share that a $10 off 3 Herbal Essence coupon is/was available through the walgreens app. I show it is good until 9/30. A few of my friends said that it was not available to them but it was for me and a few others that I know.

I tried to purchase 2 Nivea men’s face scrubs and use 2, $2 coupons, The register would not accept the 2nd coupon, giving an error saying that the coupon did not match the item. The clerk tried to tell me it was because the coupons say 1 per purchase. I tried to explain the difference between a purchase and a transaction, but they wouldn’t budge. I guess I’ll have to start carrying around the Walgreen’s coupon policy again!
