Coupons to consider using before the new year

I’ve been receiving email from readers asking which coupons they should use up before 12/31/11. My rule of thumb is anything high-value or Buy One Get One Free for a product you know you will use should be fair game these last few days… and of course ANY free coupons that you might be holding onto that are expiring soon too. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, here are some coupons that you might want to consider using. All expire 12/31/11 unless otherwise noted:

• .75 off Sierra Mist 12-pack – 11/13 SS
• .75 off Cuties Clementines 5lb. box – 12/4 SS (expires 1/4/12)
• .55 off Sierra Mist 2-liter – 11/13 SS
• .45 off Cuties Clementines 3lb. bag – 12/4 SS (expires 1/4/12)
• .40 off Wacky Mac – 5/8 SS
• If you’ve gotten Catalinas recently for $1 off any haircare item or $1 off any oral care item at Jewel-Osco, and you don’t need full-size versions, hit the travel aisle for freebies/cheapies of these. And, because they’re store coupons, you can stack a manufacturer coupon with them too. I’ve also gotten a store Catalina recently for $1 off any soap – hit the dollar aisle for the store-brand pump hand soaps and get one free.
