I’m hearing from readers (and other blogger friends!) that Amazon is having a crazy sale on Kindle e-book readers today. The catch? Only SOME people have the deal available to them, and there appears to be no way to know whether you’re eligible or not unless you try.

Make sure you’re logged into your Amazon.com account, then click this link. (If that one does not show a discounted price, you can try this link too.) Again, you must be logged into your Amazon account first.

If you are eligible, you should see the following fantastic prices:

Kindle: $19
Kindle Paperwhite: $44
Kindle Fire HD: $44

    They did something similar a little while ago, and I didn’t get it then either. :(
    I’m curious, I use Amazon all the time and have a Kindle Fire, so maybe people who got that deal don’t already have it?

  8. We have the deal offer as well – the only difference is the Kindle Fire HD would be $89, and it’s the Kindle Fire HDX that’s $154. (Paperwhite is $44 and regular Kindle $19 as stated).

  9. I got the offer and was able to get myself the Kindle Paperwhite, and order the Kindle for my friend. Had to place them as separate orders though to use both promotional discounts.

    I’m wondering if this super sale means they are going to bring out updated versions soon so they want to clear current inventory?
