So today I got some good deals, but double checked my receipt and noticed I didn’t get all the deals I was supposed to. The one I’m not certain about is the $5 ECB when you spend $15 on toothbrushes and the like. I bought two $7.49 toothbrushes with the second one being half off. Isn’t it normally off of the total before the sale that triggers the ECB. If so it was within the range that should have triggered the ECB. That comes out to $14.98. Plus I purchased Tom’s toothpaste, but that got me an ECB so I don’t consider that purchase to overlap with my other deal. Anyone know why this didn’t work.
Also I had purchased to deals of the Post cereal with the milk. The second coupon didn’t work. Luckily I caught it before I left the parking lot. I pointed out that it say limit 4 per customer in a shopping trip. The lady couldn’t get it to scan, but paid me the $2.99. I also pointed out that I purchased 3 cards at 99 cents and didn’t get the $3 ECB. She said she thought maybe it didn’t hit a dollar amount, however, it doesn’t say you have to spend $3 to get the deal, only 3 cards. She forced a $3 ECB. Just make sure you check your receipts people. Seems like an awful lot of mistakes in one trip.
