An unsolicited testimonial for CVS Hydrating Makeup Remover wipes

Halloween was last week, and I attended three different parties dressed as (what else?) the great Paul Stanley of KISS. This certainly isn’t the first time I’ve dressed as Paul — I’ve been Paul for many Halloweens with a variety of classic Paul stage costumes! But, as any KISS makeup-wearer will tell you, getting the greasepaint off afterward isn’t always the easiest thing to do. It’s not water-soluble, so soap and water just don’t do the job. Cold cream cuts it somewhat, but usually it becomes a scrub-fest in which you feel you’re exfoliating multiple layers of skin to remove the makeup.

At CVS’ bloggers event in September, CVS gave us an assortment of products to try, and on a whim I grabbed the pack of CVS Hydrating Makeup Remover wipes. I was shocked how easy the makeup came off, and when I was ready to un-KISS the next night, I had my husband film a little video of me doing my thing. If these wipes take this makeup off so easily, imagine what they’ll do for your everyday Cover Girl or Maybelline cosmetics? Woo hoo!
