I went to CVS last night and tried the Febreze Noticables warmers & refills idea and it didn’t trigger a $10 ExtraBucks at $0.04 short. I ran back to see what the cheapest Febreeze products they on the shelf was and then ran back out to the car to check the 9/29 PG inserts I was carrying around with me since all the coupons in there expire 10/31. I ended up getting one of the car air fresheners for $3.99 and used at $1 off coupon. Making my total for the Febreze deal $14.97 before the $10 ExtraBucks and $4.97 after.
Then my ExtraBucks didn’t print. I asked the cashier and he was probably a newer employee because he told me something along the lines that if it didn’t print then it didn’t work or something like that. I immediately asked to speak to someone in charge and the lady that was watching over the self check out stations came over and showed him how to mannualy give me my $10 ExtraBucks after I explained to her what happened and she looked at my receipts.
This all after I went to Walgreens and the $2.50 Register Rewards on the Colgate toothpaste didn’t print. The cashier there was nice emough to give me $2.50 back on a Walgreens gift card since the Catalina machine wasn’t working.
