Here’s a deal update too! Alli at Couponing for 4 discovered that the bag itself counts as one of the three items..! There’s no saying whether or not this will change, but here’s what happened to her:

She did three transactions:
1) Bought 3 bars of soap and a bag. Paid $9.87 and got $10 in ExtraBucks.
2) Bought 3 bars of soap and a bag. Paid $9.87 and got $10 in ExtraBucks.
3) Bought 3 bars of soap and a bag. Paid $9.87 and got $20 in ExtraBucks! According to her receipt, the three BAGS rang as three participating items too, and because CVS’ receipts are cumulative, it saw the three bags as another round of three Neutrogenas, giving her another $10 in ExtraBucks. Sweet!
