I was going to use my coupons on dry bags of kidney beans for chili…but does anyone have input. Last year with the EE coupon I got a bunch of dry beans for chili and can’t get them to taste right. I soak overnight then cook chili the whole next day. The beans are still dry and a bit hard. Nothing like canned ones. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong or how to make them better?? I don’t like to do too many canned things as they’re lined w BPA but if I can’t figure out the dried I just make the hubby barf next time he eats my “dry bean chili”.
