Through 1/24/17, buy $15 worth of Unilever products and get $5 in instant savings at Jewel-Osco. There’s been a lot of buzz around the Buy 2 Get 1 FREE Unilever sale that’s also running concurrently with this through 1/3/17.
I’ve received multiple emails from readers excited about the $15/$5 and the Buy 2 Get 1 FREE sales overlapping. I went to the store to check for overlap between the two sales, and none of the items in the $15/$5 were tagged as also being part of the B2G1F. (The B2G1F products are primarily large regular Suave shampoos that are not tagged as part of the $15/$5.) Some Dove Men + Care and Axe products not listed in the ad are also tagged for this sale.
I spent some time at my local Jewel on 12/31/16 (how’d you spend your New Year’s Eve? :) running scenarios to see what, if anything, would trigger both the instant savings and the B2G1F. I was not successful in getting any of the products I tried in the $15/$5 to also trigger the B2G1F.

Here’s what happened. Some of the stuff in the $5/$15 did overlap like the Tresemme shampoo and Dove Men. The tags said they were supposed to go til 1/3 but Jewel ended it early yesterday. I am in a FB groups for glitches and they were so mad Jewel ended it before the Sunday coupons came out. The stuff that’s still B2G1F is not the stuff in the $5/$15.

I also poked around Jewel yesterday trying to come up with a deal. Here’s what I’m planning:
1 – Axe body spray $5.49
1 – Axe dry spray $5.99
1 – Dove Men & Care shampoo $4.49
Subtotal = $15.97
Minus $5 instant = $10.97
Minus two Axe $2/1 printables and one Dove $2/1 insert mentioned in Jill’s post = $4.97
Minus $5.50 from Ibotta ($1.50 Axe body spray, $2.00 Axe dry spray, plus $2.00 bonus for buying both) = $.53 moneymaker.

I’ve been hearing today that the Buy 2 Get 1 FREE sale was reinstated. I feel like I’m wasting time trying scenarios, but I cannot get the B2G1F to kick in at my local store. If anyone has any luck with this, please share — I’m back from trying a 3 Tresemme, 3 Degree deal and the B2G1F is not kicking in for me. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to go to a different Jewel today.
MyMixx added some Unilever coupons today too that line up to this deal ($1 of Tresemme, etc.) and I’ve added these in above.
