Each week’s Deals in the Wild post will be a place for both me, and you, to share any interesting deals we find in the current week, whether they’re online or in stores.
I’d like to use this week’s post to remind you that many of our area stores offer grocery delivery and/or curbside pickup services if you do not wish to go out or want to limit your crowd exposure — Jewel-Osco, Meijer, Mariano’s, Walmart, and Walgreens offer this, as do many others. Visit their websites or use their apps to take advantage of these services.
As we are abiding by the CDC guidelines to practice social distancing, our family doesn’t plan to go to the store for as long as possible. (In fact, we’re not planning to go anywhere at all — we made the decision to cancel our Spring Break flights and plans and will be working and staycationing at home.)
One of the benefits of being a couponer is that we’re well-stocked on many things — even the worldwide “must have” item of the month, toilet paper! We decided as a family that we wanted to stop shopping before things escalated, and my last large stock-up trip was the last week of February.
If you’re out and about, keep a safe distance and continue to wash hands and sanitize surfaces.
Have you spotted any good deals in the wild this week? Feel free to post them below! If your deal includes photos, feel free to email them to me at jill@supercouponing.com, and I’ll add them to your comment.
