Here’s a deal on Diet Coke and Caffeine-Free Diet Coke 12-packs. They’re on sale 4-for-$12 when you buy four. They’re also part of a Catalina deal, where you’ll get a $5 Catalina when you buy 4 Diet Coke 12-packs! That works out to $7 for four, or $1.75 each! Super cheap!

Palermo’s Primo Thin Pizzas (13.9-19.1oz.) are on sale 3-for-$10, or about $3.34 each. You must buy three to receive this price. Now drop that good price even more with the $1 coupon from 3/25 SS or printables. You’ll pay $7 for 3, or about $2.34 EACH! This is the lowest price I can recall seeing Palermo’s for, so Palermo’s fans… stock up!

Java Delight Coffee (10-12oz.) is on sale for $6.49. Use this 25% off SavingStar ecoupon and it works out to $4.87.

Taste of Home FREE Cookbook, 5-cup Rice Cooker and 12-quart Tamale Steamer P&G Promotion

LAST WEEK! Jewel is running an “A Taste Of Home” mail-in promotion on P&G products. Buy $25 worth of P&G products in one transaction and receive a 2-piece cookware set and one cookbook of your choice via mail (view ad here.)

The cookware is a 12-quart tamale steamer, a 5-cup rice cooker, and one of the following cookbooks: “Fresh Mexico,” “Latin Grilling,” or “Cocina Cubana.” $25 worth of goods must be purchased in the same transaction, and you must submit a receipt from the same store you found the forms in (must be from Jewel – cannot use a Dominick’s receipt, etc.)

The offer runs through 4/30/12. Look for the forms for this rebate in Spanish/Latino Jewel locations.

The form for this offer is online too on another store’s website. Several readers called the number on the form and were told that printable versions would be accepted.

UPDATE! On 2/11, I received my A Taste of Home package. It contained the rice cooker, the “Latin Grilling” cookbook I chose, and a note stating that due to overwhelming demand, the tamale steamer will not be available until June 2012, so it will ship separately.

So, let’s put a deal together. The 4/1 PG has a $1-off-2 Pantene coupon. If you want to do an all-Pantene deal, buy 8 bottles ($27.92.) Use four $1-off-2 coupons (now $23.92.) Pay $23.92 and get a $5 Catalina back = now $18.92. Send in for the $10 rebate, and you’re at $8.92 for 8 Pantenes, or about $1.12 each.

Want more shampoo for about the same price? The Aussie and Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners are $2.79. Do a Pantene and Aussie/Herbal deal this way: Buy four Pantenes, making sure you have at least one shampoo/conditioner AND one styler in the mix ($13.96.) The Rockford-area Logli stores share the same ad as Hilander (Schnucks) now, so these deals apply at the four Rockford-area Logli stores as well. I have had some readers from DeKalb write and ask if these deals will also apply to their store. In looking at both ads, SOME of the deals are the same, but Rockford at times has a Hilander-specific wraparound that isn’t a part of the DeKalb Schnucks ad. Remember too that the DeKalb store does not double coupons.

Walgreens has a “Spend $25, Get $10 running on a variety of products. Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens are included, but CVS has these both for a lower price AND involved in a $25/$10 rewards deal over there too. If you’re looking for sunscreen, I’d do the deal over there as it’s cheaper.

So, what’s good in Walgreens’ $25/$10 deal? Playtex Gentle Glide or Sport tampons are $6.99 each. Buying four puts you at $27.96. The 4/22 SS has a $1 coupon for these, or use printables, but you’ll want four $1 coupons, one for each box. Now, the 3/18 SS has a “Buy 36ct., get 20ct. FREE” Playtex tampons coupon too. While the free boxes will NOT count toward your $25, they’re free, and they’re great to work in here. Get a free box of 20-count for each of these coupons that you have, up to four.

So, here’s how it looks. You’ll have 4 boxes of 36-count Playtex and four boxes of 20-count Playtex. After your four $1 coupons and your four B1G1F coupons, pay $23.96 and get $10 back in RRs. That’s $13.96 for eight boxes of Playtex, or about $1.75 per box! Super deal!

Or, with the same deal, if you are a multiple-paper-getter, you can do an all Edge-and-Skintimate shaving gel deal. Buy 13 cans of them. Yes, that sounds like a lot, but I know some of you are multiple-insert-getters to the max. Grab your 4/22 SS and your 3/25 SS, both of which contain .55 coupons.

13 cans of shave gel brings you to $25.87. Use thirteen .55 coupons ($7.15) and pay $18.72. Get $10 back in RRs, bringing you to $8.72 for 13 cans of gel, or about .67 each!

If you have less coupons, which is likely (I don’t have thirteen) – mix and match other items in, or still run an all-gel deal. With eight coupons, pay $21.47 and get $10 back. $11.47 for 13 is still a good price at .88 per can.

Pepsi Next 12-packs are on sale for $2.99. Use the $1 coupon in the Walgreens monthly IVC book (found on racks near the front of the store) and pay $1.99!

Angel Soft Bath tissue (12 double rolls) are on sale for $5.49. Buy it and get $1 back in Register Rewards! Use the .45 coupon from 3/25 RP. You’ll pay $5.04 and get $1 back. $4.04 works out to about .34 per double roll, an excellent price for double-roll bath tissue!

Sparkle Paper Towels are part of the same Register Rewards deal too. The 6-count rolls (they’re the bigger rolls, as the ad says they’re equivalent to 8 regular rolls) are $5.49. Buy them and get $1 back in Register Rewards! Use the $1 coupon from the March All You. You’ll pay $4.49 and get $1 back, making these $3.49 for 6 “bigger” rolls, or .59 per roll – also a great price.

There’s a Buy 3, Get $2 in RR deal running on a variety of cleaners and air fresheners. The lowest out-of-pocket deal here is on the Glade Expressions (9oz.) air fresheners. They’re on sale for $3.99. Buying three puts you at $11.97. The new 4/22 SS has a $1.50 coupon. With three of these, pay $7.47 and get $2 back, making these $5.47 for three!

But don’t stop there! Work these nice printable coupons into the deal too:

Here’s a deal on Head and Shoulders (13.5-14.2oz.) It’s on sale 3-for-$14. Buy three and get $4 back in ECBs. The 4/1 PG has a Buy One Get One Free coupon. And with the coupons, you’re better off buying FOUR with two B1G1F coupons.

Each bottle works out to about $4.66 each. So, if you buy four, you’re at $18.66. After two B1G1F coupons, you’re at $9.34. Pay $9.34 and get $4 back! That’s $5.34 for four bottles, or about $1.34 each – pretty good price for Head & Shoulders.

Tampax Radiant Tampons and Always Radiant pads or liners are on sale for $3.99 each. Buy ONE and get $1 in ECBs! Use the $1 coupon from the 4/1 SS. Pay $2.99 and get $1 back, making these $1.99!

CVS has a “Spend $25, Get $10 in ECBs” sale involving a variety of products. I’m liking the sunscreen here. Hawaiian Tropic (6-8oz.) is $7.99. You could buy three ($23.97) and add a single can of Skintimate or Edge shave gel (now $26.47.) Use three $1 Hawaiian Tropic coupons from the 4/22 SS and use a .55 shave gel coupon from the 4/22 or 3/25 SS. Pay $22.92 and get $10 back in ECBs. That works out to $12.92 for everything = about $4.31 per sunscreen, with “free” shave gear.

Or, do a Banana Boat deal. Banana Boat (4-8oz.) is on sale for $6.99. Buy four ($27.96) and use four $1 coupons (now $23.96.) Pay $23.96 and get $10 back in ECBs… that’s $13.96 for all four, or $3.49 each. Good price this early in the season for sunscreen!

This one’s only on in-store signage, but who doesn’t want free toilet paper? CVS is selling single rolls of Cottonelle Toilet Paper inside a Jonathan Adler-designed toilet paper holder. It’s a little round canister with geometric designs/prints on it. The canister AND single roll sell for $1.99, with $1.99 back in Extra Care Bucks, making it FREE! This ECB offer runs through 5/26/12.

CVS Tips: Remember to always scan your CVS card at the Coupon Center scanner in the store — it prints bonus coupons for you!

And, if you haven’t already, make sure your CVS ExtraCare card is registered for the CVS Beauty Club before you do any deals involving beauty products. It gives you $5 in ECBs for every $50 you spend on beauty products, and it is cumulative, meaning you don’t have to spend $50 in one trip. It keeps track for you and will automatically print ECBs on your next visit to the store when you reach a $50 threshold.

Wrapping things up with Walmart…

Policies to know:

• Walmart will price match any competitor’s advertised price. Bring the other store’s flyers with you to the store. While the policy doesn’t require this, it does speed the price-matching along.
   
• With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept other store’s STORE coupons with an actual price listed on them. For example, a Dominick’s store coupon advertising “.99 Ragu Pasta Sauce” would be accepted. A Walgreens store coupon advertising “2/$1 Morton’s Salt” would be accepted. (A Target store coupon for “$2.50 off Huggies” would not, because it does not show the actual selling price of the item.)
   
• With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept competitor’s Catalina manufacturer coupons. You can get a Catalina for $1 off Snuggle and use it at Walmart.
   
• Walmart’s new coupon policy specifically addresses coupon overage. It says “Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.”
   

I would print a copy and carry a copy of the coupon policy with you if you anticipate any issues.

I do not blog Walmart deals each week unless there is a weekly ad with noteworthy deals. Every store location’s regular prices are different, and Walmart does not issue a weekly ad every week. I’ve listed Walmart at the end of each week’s Deals writeup, because if you see any deals above that you want, you’ll likely also be able to do them at Walmart.
