Hello, Super-Couponers! Christmas is just TEN days away… and this week’s deals will help ease your grocery spending — as well as putting your Christmas dinner on the table for even less money than you may imagine! There are even a few great, inexpensive gift ideas scattered throughout here as well…
As we get close to Christmas, I’ve had so many people write about the wonderful savings they’ve enjoyed over the past year and to share that they’re getting Super-Couponing DVDs as gifts too! Orders placed before noon each day will ship the SAME day via Priority Mail, so there’s still plenty of time to have them in hand before the holiday :)
This week’s 12/13 newspaper contained three inserts – SmartSource, RedPlum, and General Mills. And, don’t toss that paper yet… you’ll also want the $9 Jewel ham coupon on page 11 of the Chicago Tribune, as well as the Fannie May ad with gift cards that many editions of the Trib received as well.
And, if you remember the great dairy, cheese and yogurt coupons from a few weeks ago, they’re back! Print these $1 off milk, $1.50 off cheese, and .75 off yogurt for use in future deals…
If you’re new to the site, take a quick minute to read Using this site and bring yourself up to speed on all the coupon lingo and abbreviations. It’s a good idea to save the grocery and drugstore flyers from both Wednesday and Sunday each week to have on hand & refer to too as you go through the deals! And, if you’re new to couponing in general, check out my Super-Couponing® website for a list of coupon classes (most are FREE!) and easy instructions on how to start using coupons effectively!
AND… my Super-Couponing® class is now available on DVD! Own the 72-minute class and watch it whenever you like! Click for a video preview & learn how to order!

Grocery Deals
Starting at Jewel, let’s take home some FREE coffee creamer! 16oz. Coffee-Mate is on sale for $1 a bottle. Visit www.coffeemate.com to print a $1 coupon, making this FREE! There’s also a $1.50 off 2 coupon there which will get you two more bottles for .25 each!
Then, after you print, follow the link on the site for Send a Cup of Confidence, fill out a short form and get another $1 printable coupon link! Remember to click that Back button, as you can print all of these great printables twice…
Now, if you did the Jewel Preferred Card Update promotion earlier this year, there is also a $1 off 2 Coffee-Mate STORE coupon in the Update coupon book. Buy 2 and stack that coupon with this deal for serious Coffee-Mate overage..!
There is also a .50 Coffee-Mate coupon in 11/1 RP if you’d like to take even more home at a great price… and Target’s site also has TWO $1 off 2 Coffee-Mate printable manufacturer coupons as well. (These will have the Target logo on them, but they are manufacturer coupons.) All in all, you should be WELL stocked on coffee creamer for several months… if you’ve got the fridge space! I’ve also frozen these bottles without a problem.
Continuing again this week, Gillette Foamy shaving cream is on sale for $1, and there’s a $1 coupon in the 11/29 PG insert. I have long said that the personal care items are some of the easiest products to get for free with coupons, and this is no exception. Enjoy this FREE shaving cream!
Now the BIG meat deal of the week is so good it will make your wallet spin… at how little this will cost! You’ll need that $9 off ham coupon from page 11 of Sunday’s Chicago Tribune. Buy a Cook’s spiral ham… and to minimize your out-of-pocket, stay as close to $9 in price as you can on the ham.
Then, look in the meat department for store coupons for “Buy Cook’s Spiral Ham, get FREE Jennie-O Turkey Breast!” The Jennie-O breasts range in size from 5-8lbs… so depending on the size of your ham, you could have all of your Christmas dinner meats covered for next to nothing! One of our Forum readers picked up a $9.73 spiral ham, and with coupon, took home both the ham and turkey breast for a whopping .73!
(I could not find hams quite that small when I went – I ended up with a 8.7lb ham priced at $19.07. With the coupon, it was $9.07, plus the free turkey breast — and I also had an $8 off $80 coupon to work in here too, which essentially brought the price for both down to $2.07! [Incidentally, I thought I’d -never- use up that $8/$80 – my pre-coupon is rarely that high anymore — but keep in mind that the pre-coupon price of my ham, plus the (free) $23.35 turkey breast brought me to $42.42 alone..! I filled in the rest with milk, produce… and LOTS of coupons for FREE items that were expiring 12/31 :)
Note that the ham coupon also requires a $20 Jewel purchase… but almost every turkey breast I saw was priced at $21 or above! Remember too that all of those free Coffee-Mates will count, as well as anything else you work into your deals this week! So, just remember… small ham + large turkey breast, and you’ll get the best deal possible!
AND… A DIFFERENT WAY TO DO THE DEAL: If you have no interest in buying the turkey breast, you’re not limited to using this coupon on a Cook’s spiral ham. Use it on a shank ham and purchase just the ham very cheaply! I saw shank hams on sale for $9.49 at my store… that’s just .49 with coupon!
$15/$5 CATALINA DEAL: Jewel is currently running a $15/$5 promotion on selected products (see back page of week-long flyer) 12/16. Spend $15 and get a $5 Catalina for your next trip. Here are your included products and matchups. If you’re a spreadsheet person who likes to see every single UPC, flavor and item, you can also find that here… Green Giant canned vegetables – .69 Green Giant Boil-in-Bag (boxed) – $1 Betty Crocker Bisquick – $1.79 Betty Crocker Cookie Pouches – $1.79 General Mills Cereals – $2.50 Nature Valley Granola Bars – $2.50 Nature Valley Nut Clusters – $2.50 Betty Crocker Premium Brownies – $2.29 Betty Crocker Ready-to-Spread Frosting – $1.69 Pillsbury Grands, Crescent or Cinnamon Rolls – $1.79 Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake Cookies – $2.50 Pillsbury Pie Crust – $2.50 Gold Medal Flour – $2 Chex Mix – $1.69 Old El Paso refried beans – $1.50 Old El Paso dinner kits – $3 Pillsbury Savorings or Bread Bowl Bites – $3.50 Green Giant Steamers – $1.99 Betty Crocker boxed potatoes – $1.69 Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, or Mountain dew 6-pack 24-oz. bottles – $3.33 Lipton Teas 12-pack .5 liter or 6-pack 16-oz. bottles – $5.99 SoBe, No Fear, Rockstar or Amp energy drink 4-packs – $5.99 Starbucks Frappucino 4-pack – $5.99 SoBe or SoBe Lifewater – $1 Aquafina 24-pack water bottles – $4.99 NOT in the ad, but included in the Catalina deal: |
Mixing and matching any of the items above to get to a $15 total, (PRE COUPON!) will generate a $5 Catalina at checkout.
Now…
My black belt couponers know that these deals typically work differently at Jewel than at any other store.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you have never done a high-level Catalina deal at Jewel before, please read this short overview of the way the price structure works. In a nutshell, if you base your dollar-spent mark on the non-Preferred prices, you can save even more money and spend less out of pocket.
If this makes no sense or is the least bit confusing to you… do NOT do the deal in this way. These high-level Catalina deals can be very confusing, especially when you’re new at this. If you are new, use the PREFERRED price only, and you’ll get the Catalina every time. But if you’re a “black belt” couponer and want to maximize your savings… here are some of the best deals. Again, if you use these scenarios and do not get your Catalina, DO NOT go to Customer Service and ask them to make it right for you. You WILL NOT have purchased what the ad states that you must. Again, YOU are taking the risk on these deals. You must be willing to accept ANY outcome without complaining, even if it means not getting any Catalinas at all. An AMAZING all-vegetables deal (Who says coupon shoppers don’t eat healthy?) Another all-vegetables deal An all-soup deal The $2.49 savings is meant to cover a free Progresso broth, but you don’t need to buy the broth. If you want it, it too is FREE… and you can use the .50 broth coupon on it too..! A Pillsbury Crescent Roll deal An all-cookie dough deal An all-SoBe or SoBe Lifewater deal A Nature Valley Nut Cluster deal A Pepsi products deal An all-cereal deal Note that you can do this deal with 5 cereals and one “filler” too ($1 GG vegetables or cake mix works well) if you want to minimize your out-of-pocket. In that case… use two $1 printables and one $1 off 2. Pay $10.50 and get $5 back. REMEMBER… ALWAYS, ALWAYS verify prices at your store at the price-checker BEFORE using the above scenarios. You are using these matchups at YOUR OWN RISK. And remember to roll those Catalinas! Use the $5 you got to help pay for your next round, and so on… |
Lastly, we are nearing the end of 2009! If you did the Jewel Freezer Deal this February and still have coupons for free items, don’t forget about them. Of course we want to use them during those good Buy One Get One Free sales, but if they haven’t lined up with any, better to use than lose.
Another good way to use them? To “pad up” your total and use a money-off coupon! Jewel recently mailed coupons out ($4 off $40, $8 off $80) to customers, and any free coupons make good fillers to get you up to that top dollar amount so you can use the dollars-off coupon — and of course, they’re great ways to pad up to $20 to use the $9 ham coupon too!
Over at Dominick’s, did you see the AMAZING set of coupons inside this week’s flyer? They are offering a FREE product every day with a minimum $20 purchase*. The products are:

Now, if you like these coupons but plan to hit Jewel this week too, you may wish to take a look at this discussion on Jewel’s policy on competitor store-brand coupons…
Clementines (mmm! Clementines!) are CHEAP at Dominick’s this week too. A 5lb. box is $3.99, the cheapest we’ve seen at any of our major stores so far this season. Make them even cheaper with this $1 coupon! $2.99 for the 5-lb. box really is a STEAL for Clementines… do I need to mention again that these are my FAVORITE fruit? :)
Lucerne shredded or chunk cheeses are .99 a bag or brick, limit 3. Good price even without a coupon… and depending on the sizes of your cheeses, you may be able to work the $1.50 cheese coupon from www.dairymakessense.com in here too.
Dominick’s has a cracker deal going on many varities of crackers. It’s a “Buy 5, save $5,” and the prices shown assume you are buying in quantities of 5. You can buy many multiples of 5 in the same transaction too (5, 10, 15) to get the prices. Here are your items and matchups…
General coupons to use with any of the following:
– 11/8 SS – $1 off Nabisco crackers
– 12/13 SS – $1 off 2 Nabisco crackers
– 8/23 SS – .75 off 2 Nabisco crackers

Mix and match any way you like here… but any way you look at it, you’re getting some CHEAP or FREE crackers! :)
Dominick’s has some Super Coupons in their ad again this week. These can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for even bigger savings, though some of them are great on their own too. Best bet this week?
Huggies or Pampers jumbo packs of diapers. We saw this deal within the past month, but here it is again!
With the Super Coupon in the Doms ad, Jumbo packs of either are $7.99. Bring this down even more with coupons:
Dominick’s ad has a store coupon on the back page that makes jumbo packs of Pampers and Huggies $7.99 each, limit four. We’re going to multi-stack this deal with some electronic and manufacturer coupons as well to really bring this down!
Head over to Cellfire and load the coupon for $1 off Huggies…
Then, go to Shortcuts and load the coupons for $1.50 off Huggies and $2 off Pull-Ups…
Then, go to PGEsaver and load the THREE $1 coupons for Pampers (Pampers diapers, Pampers Extra Protection Diapers, Pampers Swaddlers – regardless of what you end up using, I’d load them all, in case one variety is out at the store once you get there.
Now, let’s get some manufacturer coupons together to go with these electronics…
10/25 RP – $2 off Pampers Extra Protection
11/29 PG – $2 off Pampers Cruisers
11/1 PG, 11/29 PG – $1.50 off Pampers
11/1 PG – $1.50 off Pampers Easy Ups
10/25 SS AND 11/15 SS – $3 off Huggies Pure and Natural
10/25 SS – $1 off Huggies
11/15 SS – $1.50 off Huggies
11/15 SS – $1 off Huggies Pull-Ups
June All You – $2 off Huggies
Also, check your home mailer coupons – both Huggies and Pampers have sent out good coupons lately (if you’re on their mailing lists) – I’ve got some $2 and $3 coupons for each.
So, let’s put a diaper deal together. For example, you could buy:
2 Huggies and 2 Pampers (you choose varieties)
At $7.99/pack with the Dominick’s coupon, your total is $31.96.
Electronic coupons will take $1 and $1.50 off for the Huggies, plus $1 and $1 off for the Pampers.
Your total is now $27.46.
With the highest-value coupons here (two $3 Huggies coupons and a $2 and $1.50 coupon for the Pampers) pay $17.96 for four, or $4.49 each! Considering it’s been a few months since we’ve seen a really great diaper deal, this does cut the price almost 50% per pack…
A note on Dominick’s Super Coupons: All of the Super Coupons require a total purchase of $20 or more to use. But, the “Minimum $20 purchase” applies to the REGULAR, non-sale price of those items. Really! It’s even spelled out very well on Safeway’s corporate site:
What does “minimum $10 (or $20) purchase required” mean? To use store coupons that include a minimum purchase requirement, you must spend a minimum dollar amount on that shopping trip. You will reach the minimum purchase amount based upon total purchases before your Club Card discount is applied. This total will include the coupon item’s regular price, not the discounted price. For example, the regular retail price of a box of Cheerios (before coupon and before Club Card discounts) will count toward the minimum purchase required in order to use the Cheerios coupon.
So, knowing this, getting over that $20 mark isn’t as hard as it seems…
Lastly, note that some stores are offering 10% off any Safeway house brand products from now until the end of the year! I don’t have a complete list of which stores are participating (saw the signs at the Crystal Lake store) but it comes off automatically at the register when your Fresh Values card is scanned… and is a good way to bring prices of meats, dairy and other house-branded items down even more!
At Meijer, how about some cheap or FREE Vitamin C to ward off those winter colds? EsterC 60ct. 500 milligram Vitamin C is on sale for $8.69, Buy One, Get One Free. Use the $5 coupon from 11/8 RP to take two home for $3.69! Now, if you are a multiple insert person and have two of this coupon, use another on your second bottle and get BOTH for free…
Meijer is running a “Buy 10, get the 11th free” sale through Wednesday too. There are many items included in the sale… but honestly, not too many of them line up with current coupons, and the ones that do aren’t that hot of prices. (.66 Green Giant boxed vegetables? MUCH better at Jewel this week, etc.)
So… we’ll move on…
Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes.
For my Rockford-area readers, Hilander has some good deals this week too. Kroger 1/2 gallons milk and shredded or brick cheeses are on sale for $1.25 each.
The milk and cheese coupons from www.dairymakessense.com would work well here. If you’re buying 2 gallons of milk (4 half-gallons,) use the $1 off chocolate milk coupon to get a 1/2 gallon of chocolate for a quarter!
And, the coupons for $1.50 off 2lbs of cheese can be applied to multiple bags of Kroger cheese here too.
Continuing this week, want free pizza? Tony’s frozen pizzas are on sale for $1 each, already a GREAT price. But with the .50 coupon from 10/4 SS (which will double to $1) they’re FREE!
Idahoan instant potatoes again are a good deal. They’re on sale for $1, and with this .40 coupon, which will double to .80, they’re just .20 a package…
Hilander has a good deal going on sausage and eggs this week too. Buy 2 Jimmy Dean sausage products at $2.50 each and get a free dozen Grade A Kroger eggs. Use coupons to bring the price of the sausage down too! With the $1 coupon from 11/1 RP, pay $4 for all! With two $1 coupons, you’ll pay just $3 for two pounds of sausage AND eggs!
I love hot chocolate when it’s cold outside (and truthfully… even when it’s not!) and this is pretty cheap… Swiss Miss is $1 a box. Buy 2, use the .50 off 2 coupon from 11/15 SS (which will double to $1), and pay $1 for 2, or .50 each!
Off to Target… my longtime blog readers may remember a crazy deal last winter on RayOVac batteries. During that sale, Target had RayOVacs in the Dollar Spot… at the same time that RayOVac had a $1 unlimited printable on their site.
Think about that for a moment. Oh yes. Many of us didn’t buy batteries for a very, very long time.
Wish you had gotten in on that?
Incredibly, the deal is back. Visit www.rayovacbonus.com and enter coupon code 74016761. You’ll get an unlimited-print $1 RayOVac coupon!
Keep in mind this coupon is for ALKALINE batteries only (Target Dollar Spot has other RayOVac varieties too.) And… enjoy those free batteries!
We’ve seen some really good deals at Target over the past few weeks on children’s movies! A few weeks ago, many people picked up “Santa Buddies” incredibly cheaply with a great coupon stack… and here’s a similar deal!
The Disney movie “G-Force” is on sale for $15.99 on Blu-Ray DVD. Print this $10 manufacturer coupon and stack it with this $5 Target coupon for any Blu-Ray DVD… and you will take G-Force home for just .99!
Now, even if you don’t have a Blu-Ray player, you can take advantage of this deal, because just like the Santa Buddies deal, the G-Force set comes with 3 discs – a Blu-Ray DVD, a regular, standard DVD, and a digital copy to play in the computer. Not bad for under a dollar!
G-FORCE DEAL UPDATE: Now that I’m back from trying this one at Target, they get this week’s thumbs-down award for “most confusing advertisement.” The Blu-Ray version of G-Force is ringing up at $22.99. If you look at the ad, the ad shows a “deluxe version” priced at $22.99… under the photo of the regular non-Blu-Ray disc, stating that the Blu-Ray disc is a “low price.”
I asked my cashier, in looking at this ad, what price she would expect to pay for the Blu-Ray. She called a manager and both agreed it was confusing, and they adjusted the price to $15.99, at which point I used my coupons. But be aware of this issue before you try…
The great deal on Swiss Miss that will not only net you FREE hot cocoa, but overage too continues this week… Swiss Miss is currently selling for .97 a box at many Target stores. Use the $1 off Swiss Miss Target coupon (already making it free) stacked with the $.50 off 2 Swiss Miss coupon from 11/15 SS. Buy 2 boxes and pay nothing… with .06 overage! If your Target will allow you to use a second $1 Target coupon on the second box (some stick tight to one Target coupon per transaction) you’ll get $1.06 overage for your two.
Every winter we see good and crazy deals on Glade products, and this winter is no exception. Target’s got a promo running on Holiday Glade products, now reportedly through 12/26. Buy any 5 Holiday Glade products at $2.50 each and get a $5 Target gift card.
The 11/1 SS and 12/6 has MANY more Glade coupons for you to work into this deal too, including B1G1Fs for candles, scented oil warmers, and more… And, many of the candle tins have $1.50 coupons inside too. (DON’T open the tins before you buy them… buy first, then use the other coupons to do another round…)
There’s also a $5 rebate you can work in this too for buying any 3 Glade products! You can send this rebate in 3 times, but you do need 3 separate receipts, so split orders up if you’re planning a crazy candle stock-up!
Here’s a possible scenario:
Buy two Glade Scented Oil tin candle holders
Buy 3 Glade Scented Oil candle refills
Total: $12.50
Use two “Buy Scented Oil Holder, get Refills Free” coupons from 12/6 SS and 11/1 SS. Then, use the “Buy 2 Scented Oil refills, get a 3rd free” from 11/1 SS. After coupons, pay $5 and get a $5 gift card back! FREE candles… AND you can send in for the $5 rebate too…make it a moneymaker!
You could use this scenario if you prefer the small, glass jarred candles:
Buy 5 Glade jar candles
Use the $1.50 off 2 coupons from 12/6 SS and 11/1 SS.
Pay $9.50 and get a $5 Target gift card back. You’ve now paid $4.50 for your jar candles… and you can send the receipt in for a $5 rebate. Even with the cost of the stamp, your candles will still be FREE!
Remember, you MUST buy holiday scents to receive the gift card. You can scan the candles at the price checker in the store to verify they’re holiday scents and part of the gift card deal.
Let’s talk Kmart! I’ve been getting email from people wondering when their super double coupons are coming back. I’ve even heard some stores are running doubles every day through mid-December.
So here’s the scoop. Some Kmart locations are indeed running double coupon promotions through December 19th. The bad news for my Chicagoland audience..? This is currently a Michigan-only promotion.
But if you happen to be reading from Michigan… here’s the deal. You can double up to 5 coupons per day, up to and including $2 coupons. You also need to sign up for the free Shop Your Way card at Kmart. The cashier will need to scan your card at the beginning of the transaction to enable the doubling.
So there you go… I’ll keep you posted if I learn of any more Kmart doubles promotions!
Drugstore Deals
Heading to Walgreens, Complete Multi-Purpose Solution is free after Register Rewards! It’s $7.99 with a $7.99 RR. Make it a $1 moneymaker with the $1 coupon from 10/25 RP!
Walgreens has a good deal going on Huggies diapers too this week, which I didn’t get posted late last night (Monday!) Here it is…
Jumbo packs of Huggies are on sale for $8.99 with a $2 RR. Use a $2 coupon (printable) to bring it down to $4.99 a pack. If you have the Walgreens coloring book, there’s a $1 store coupon inside that you can stack to bring these down to $3.99!
Gillette Fusion razors are CHEAP this week too. (Yes, I know they’re often FREE too, but when you’re a new couponer, a usually-$10 razor for .99 is a big deal!) The Gillette Fusion is on sale this week for $8.99 with a $4 RR. Use the $4 coupon from 11/29 PG and you’ll end up paying just .99…
Cheap Wags filler alert! Walgreens votive candles are just .17 with the coupon in this week’s Walgreens ad. These are GREAT cheapies to throw into your transaction if you have extra Register Rewards to use up and need an item for that extra coupon to “attach” to.
Wags coupon lesson of the week: Walgreens won’t allow you to use more manufacturer coupons than you have items — so, if you wanted to use a $5 RR to buy a $7 item, plus a $1 manufacturer coupon for that item, the register wouldn’t allow it. Hence… the art of the filler. Throw in a cheap filler, like this .17 candle, and you can use your $5 RR with your large item. Easy!
Keep an eye on Wednesday’s paper too. These past few weeks we’ve seen mid-week Wags ads with great offers too, which is pretty typical for this time of year… so keep your eyes open :)
And finally, over at CVS, they’ve got some through-today-only Tuesday ECBs you may like… (do you see a theme here?)
– Merry Brite red and green tissue paper is $1.99 with a $1.99 ECB, making it free…
– Merry Brite gift tags are $1.99 with a $1.99 ECB, making them free too…
– Merry Brite 12-ct. bows are $2.99 with a $2.99 ECB, making them free too…
– Complete Multi-Purpose eye solution is $9.99 with a $9.99 ECB. Make it a $1 moneymaker with a $1 coupon from 10/25 RP!
Revlon eye shadows are a good deal this week too. They’re $4.99, Buy One, Get One Free. With two $2 coupons from 12/13 SS and 11/15 SS, pay .99 for two, or less than .50 each!
Bic Soleil 4-packs of razors are cheap this week too. Priced at $4.99, you get $4 back in ECBs when you buy, making them just .99…
Brut deodorant is also a steal. It’s on sale for $1.49, and with the $1 coupon from 11/22 SS, it’s .49!

As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
* (All You magazine is not a requirement for using the site, but if you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s a cheap ($2.49 an issue) magazine that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically 20-30 of them. Many websites are now tracking the All You coupons and matching them to deals, just as they do with the newspaper coupon inserts. You can subscribe to All You online and save about $10/year off the cover price. And depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

I just wanted to take a quick moment and thank you for all of the time and effort you put into providing us with all of this great information. You have no idea how much you have helped my family during this past year. Thank you :-)

Pork chops are $.99 each for a 5-oz portion making them $3.17/lb not $.99/ lb in my ad;o)) You are correct we need to stick with ham and turkey this week.

I will be travelling to B.C. and Alberta Canada over the holidays. My friends and family out there can’t believe how well our dollar stretches with doing couponing. Do you know any sites out that way…I know Safeway is Dominics…any other insider tips? :) They wish they lived by you to do some great deals. They absolutely love you…so do I. Thank you for all your work!!!!!!!!

you included the bic razors in this. If you are lucky enough to have a Q from a previous package of these razors there is a $2.00 off Q for them! Meaning you could take home 1 for FREE and get 51 cents overage to apply to another package of razors.. if you have more than one of those Qs, you could conceivably take home 3 for 3cents overage using only 2 Qs! The Qs we had for this expire 12/31/09, so of course we will be using them!
Haileysmom says
I only found the 2-pack AA or AAA Alkaline batteries on the $1 spot at Target and the Q indicates you need to buy the 4-pack. Is Target allowing the use of this Q on those?
moxiemom says
last time i checked there was a $3 off a jennie-o frozen turkey or turkey breast in the Spotlight Magazine at Jewel. thinking we can use that on top of the ham/turkey deal if its still there- it was only a few days ago.
happy shopping!

You still have a chance, Tuesday and Wednesday, to get a great deal on the small cans of Maxwell House Coffee at Meijer.
Small cans are on sale for $1.79.
Sale is buy 3 and get a free 5 lb bag of Pioneer sugar for free.
But if you buy 4 you will also get a $4.00 oyno.
These do not roll.
Make sure you buy the sugar with the coffee and it comes off.
I used two $1/2 coupons that I had cut out from some pamphlet.

I am new to this site, but I thought I would pass on this deal I received yesterday. It was a Kraft deal…buy any 5 of the listed products get $5 instant cash back. The information was by the cheeses. The Philly Cream cheese was $0.99 each so I got 5 for FREE.

The coupon say,”Save $1.00 on any Brut fragrance Product.” Does that include deodorant?? Thank you ;o)

Does anyone know if the diaper deal at Dom’s includes the training pants or pull-ups?

The G Force blu-ray combo dvd package is on sale for $22.99. The regular dvd is $15.99. Coupons are good on blu-ray only. $7 is still not bad. =)

I just checked my Target (plus the ad) and I see it for $22.99. Am I missing something??

Thank you so much for putting the black belt deals on your grocery suggestions this week. I really appreciate it!!

you have such a good heart- thank you for sharing the black belt deals.

I must have done this deal at least 10 times. The only time I did not get the $4.00 oyno is when I used a $3.00 oyno that I received from doing the Kraft string cheese.
Both the Maxwell House and Kraft cheese oyno state that you will not get a oyno if you use one in your order. I thought that it ment a Maxwell House in a Maxwell House deal or a Kraft in a Kraft deal.
CS just gave me a copy of the Maxwell House oyno.

I purchased my G-Force Blu-Ray today at the Plainfield Target and it rang up at $17.99 so after the $10.00 G Force coupon and the Target Blu ray coupon, I paid $2.99…I thought that was a great deal. The shelf tag read $22.99. Good Luck!!

Just returned form Jewel & purchased 13 of the $1 soups. The $2.49 did not come off for the free broth. Just a heads up for those of you that try the deal.

I bought 2 today at the Joliet Target and it rang 22.99, and I talked to customer service (so veryvery nice!) and she agreed to adjust. She over adjusted down to $15 even so I got them for free.

I created an account to access the coffemate coupons and when I click “get coupons” it doesn’t give me an option to print. Anyone else have this issue?

Is anyone else not finding the Nature Valley Nut Clusters coupon on smartsource.com? It’s not even in my choices! If it was in your choices and you were able to print it what zip code are you in? Maybe that will work for me.
Thanks!

Has anyone had any luck printing out the Doms clementine coupon? I tried a few times and you need to deselect all of the other 100 coupons to get the one you want, and then they all printed out anyways- but not the clementine one! Help!

I just left the Dundee Target and they still have plenty of batteries, (as of midnight anyway). No AA but lots of AAA, C, D & 9v to be had for free.

I was so happy to use a bunch of my free coupons, got several free/cheap Coffeemates, some cheap Dove conditioner, a few other things and the refund due me was $1.79. I bought a couple of gums and my total was 48 cents. The pre-coupon total was $112! Happy day, even though I may have missed some B1G1’s for the freezer q’s.
I am thinking about purchasing the freezer in Feb. again as a gift, keeping the coupons.
I have a really nice Culinary Circle mousse/cake/dessert thingy to add to my Christmas Eve table.

I have also have a $8.00 off $ 80.00 coupons.
How do I use with the turkey ham deal?
On the coupon it has this on it “redeem after manufacturers and store coupon redemption (s)…”
Do I give the $ 8.00 off first or will it not work??? Anyone?? Thanks!!!

I just came back from Jewel and tried the A Pillsbury Crescent Roll deal on the black belt list but didn’t get the $5 catalina. I included the Pillsbury Crescent Roll as part of the $15/$5 deal so maybe that is why I didn’t get an extra $5 catalina. There is also a $1 off coupon for Pillsbury Crescent Roll at the store so it is a really sweet deal after the coupons and the catalina.

Jill, I was able to pick up 2 G Force blu-rays for $.99 each, not much convincing to do once it didn’t ring up as $15.99 as the ad is just unclear and the manger agreed.
Free batteries and free swiss miss too! Camera deal didn’t work for me, the cashier refused (think he was more upset that I was saving so much money) to take the coupons, not worth the fight after I got 2 blu-rays for $2.
Thanks much for all you do.

Hi! I just wanted to say THANK YOU!! Last night was my first Tuesday that I sat here and looked through my coupons and planned my shopping trips. Today I went out to the stores. I walked away with almost $90.00 in savings!!! I walked out of Target with 3 boxes of Swiss Miss, 5 packs of batteries, and a Healthy Choice frozen dinner (had a FREE coupon from a promotion) all for just $2.03. That was my proudest moment! Next week I’m looking forward to saving even more money while watching my kitchen magically fill with food and supplies.

I checked the UPC list in the Jewel Catalinas and couldn’t find the Nature Valley Nut Clusters – although their were several granola bar items. Has anyone tried buying 4 and gotten the Catalina? What is the shelf price on this item?
Thanks!

I went to the Crystal Lake target yesterday and I was told by the cashier that the ad clearly states the price of the combo pack therefore that’s what I had to pay. I tried to explain the confusion in the ad, but there was no changing her mind or the person who happened to be walking by. They tried selling me the dvd only, but then I couldn’t use the coupon. Where is everyone buying this for 15.99 near crystal lake, lith area? I’d like to get 2. Thanks.
Guy says
I went to Jewel 2x, at 2 different locations, here’s my savings summary. total price for food B4 savings-$179.63 total savings all together-$143.20 total oop-$36.43. NOTES: I coud have saved about $10 more, but couldn’t print the Xtra Q’s. so % wise I’m at. about 80%
Coupon Maven says
Just an FYI – the $15/$5 Catalina is still working, as of Thursday night. These Cats sometimes print beyond the advertised dates — but be aware that the SALE prices of many of these items is over (i.e – Progresso is $1.99 a can now.)
However, the boxed Green Giant vegetables are still $1, so that scenario is still very doable… IF you’re a risk-taker and want to try. No idea when they will stop printing.. but it’s cold enough outside to stash them in a cooler or plastic tote outdoors if you’re out of space :)

I was just at the WD Target and saw nothing that looked remotely like any Rayovac batteries for a buck a pack. I didn’t even see the size packages that are on the coupon.
Is this deal still good? Don’t Target ads go Sunday – Saturday?
Or has everyone snarfed these all up?
I tried looking on the registers with batteries, in electronics, by flashlights, and on several other endcaps with batteries.
