This week’s newspaper contained three inserts: a SmartSource (SS,) a RedPlum (RP,) and a General Mills (GM.) This week’s Parade magazine also has a coupon for two free 5″x7″ photo greeting cards at Meijer or Walmart, and one of my Tribunes (!) also had a single-sheet coupon for $1 off 2 Edy’s ice cream and $1 off Nestle Toll House mini toppers. Before you toss your paper, see if you got one too!
Also, Kmart is doubling coupons up to and including $2 through 12/7. You can double 5 per day, and there is a whopping $25 minimum purchase before you can double. (Yawn.) I’m taking a pass on this one.

GIFT CARD DEAL: Through 12/16, Buy $100 in selected gift cards (AMC theaters, Applebees, Bass Pro Shops, Catherine’s, Fashion Bug, iTunes, JC Penney, Lane Bryant, Marshalls, Regal Entertainment Group, Sephora, Spa Finder, TGI Fridays and/or TJ Maxx) and get a $10 Catalina for your next Jewel shopping trip! This deal stacks up five time (buying $500 in gift cards will generate $50 in Catalinas) but you can only use one $10 Catalina per transaction.
This could work out nicely with the “Spend $30, get $10 for the Gift Card Mall” deal running on P&G products this week too.
Kedem Sparkling Grape Juice (25.4oz.) is on sale for $2.49 a bottle. Look for hangtags on the bottle for $1.50 mail-in rebate — after rebate, it’s .99! (Including the price of your stamp, you’re looking at $1.43.)
Here’s a deal on Nature’s Farm natural, hormone-free milk! It’s on sale for $2.99 a half-gallon carton (through 1/2.) Look in the refrigerated case near the milk for a tearpad of $2 coupons. With coupon, you’ll pay .99 a carton! This milk is ultra-pasturized too, so the dates are long — mine expire 1/16/11.
Note that while this milk does not state “organic,” it seems to be similar in taste/quality as organic — and for the price, I’ll happily make the switch for a few weeks! I also noticed that at one store, the tearpad had $2 coupons on top, and midway through they switched to $1 coupons. Just a heads-up. Tearpad coupons expire 12/31/10.
Competitor Coupon Deals
Did you know Jewel-Osco also accepts competitor coupons IF they’re for a competitor’s house brand? They sure do — it’s right in their coupon policy, but many shoppers aren’t aware of it!
If you have the Dominick’s Big $60 Thanksgiving Coupon Book, there are coupons that line up nicely to sales on the same Jewel-house-branded items:
Jewel 10-10.5oz. marshmallows are on sale for .89 Use the .50 coupon from the $60 Thanksgiving book and pay .39!
Jewel’s Shoppers Value brand spice shakers are on sale for $1. Use the .50 coupon from the $60 Thanksgiving book and pay .50!
If you have the Dominick’s “Big $60 Thanksgiving Coupon Book,” Swiss Miss hot cocoa is on sale for $1 a box through the end of the year. Use the $1 coupon in the $60 Thanksgiving book and it’s FREE!
Jewel-Osco has a Facebook page. If you have questions directly for corporate, you can ask them there (and they answer promptly!) They’ve also got the free cookware promo under way, so save your stickers from qualifying receipts to earn free pots and pans.
Are you on the Jewel-Osco email list yet? Jewel has been making coupons available for many different products over the past few months, and they’re usually store coupons that you can stack manufacturer coupons with too. I’d recommend getting on their list if you shop there.

Jewel meat deals:
- Hormel Always Tender country style ribs are $1.99/lb.
- Perdue bone-in split chicken breasts are $1.99/lb.
- Jewel is running their “Fav 4” meat deal again in which 4 packages of various meats automatically price to $19.99 for all. As always, stick to meats that work out to about $1.99/lb for the best buys.
Jewel produce deals:
- 3lb. bags of red or gold potatoes are $1.99 each – that’s .66/lb.
- Many varieties of apples are .99/lb. (Organic Honeycrisp are $2.49/lb.)
- Several varieties of pears are .99/lb. (organic Bartlett are $1.99/lb.)
- Roma tomatoes are .99/lb.
- California red seedless grapes are $1.28/lb.
- Organic Wild Harvest baby-cut carrots are $1.99 for a 1lb. bag
- Heads of lettuce, green peppers and sleeved celery are all .99 each
- 4-6oz. containers of raspberries, blackberries or blueberries are $3.99, B1G1F
- Jewel is running their “Fav 4” produce deal again in which 4 packages of various produce items automatically price to $10 for all. As always, stick to items whose prices work out to the lowest per-pound price for the best buys. Steer clear of things like the Fresh Express salads or 14oz. carrot and celery sticks, as $2.50 is a very high price for these.
(Anytime meat is under $1.99 a pound (no matter what it is — beef, pork, poultry) it’s a buy in my book, because $1.99 is a cycle low and a good benchmark for meat prices — ditto for most produce. Seafood, by its nature, is more expensive per pound, but a good “buy” benchmark is $4 per pound or less for fish or shrimp.)
Let’s go to Dominick’s (View weekly ad)…
Note to my Safeway shoppers reading from outside Chicagoland: In Chicago, Dominick’s currently accepts expired coupons up to one year past the expiration date, so my coupon matchups for Dominick’s deals will include expired coupons. If an expired coupon matchup is provided, it will be noted with (exp) after the date. Also, in Chicago, Dominick’s does not double coupons (as other Safeway stores do) – if your store doubles, you’ll do even better with many of these deals. Also, in Chicago, previously-available ecoupons are being rolled into the “Just For U” section of electronic coupons available at Dominicks.com.

Now, the super-hot deals this week:
Wonderful Pistachios: These are already a good price with this week’s Super Coupon. Let’s make it even better! If you haven’t used it yet, there’s a $3-off-$10 Produce ecoupon that you can load to your Fresh Values card on Dominicks.com. Load this up, because, guess what? Pistachios… are produce!
Here’s how the deal works — and if you’re a person who likes to load the Super Coupons to your Fresh Values card too, this deal works better if you do NOT load the Pistachios ecoupon to the card. Clip it from the paper, and along with it, clip three $1 coupons from 11/21 SS or printables. Then, here’s how the deal goes.
Buy THREE bags of Wonderful Pistachios (regular price: $3.99 each.)
Three bags at $3.99 is $11.97, which is a produce purchase over $10, triggering the $3 produce ecoupon.
Now, you’re at $8.97. When the cashier scans your pistachios Super Coupon, it will drop TWO of the bags to $2.49 each (as it’s limit 2.)
Now, you’re at $5.97. Your three $1 manufacturer coupons take another $3 off, putting you at $2.97 for ALL three bags, or .99 each! That’s a steal for pistachios!
Note that it does not matter what order your cashier scans the coupons in, as the $3-off-$10 produce will happen instantaneously. The reason it’s better not to load the pistachios ecoupon first is that if you do, the register will see $2.49 + $2.49 + $3.99 for your three bags, which equals $8.97. That’s not enough to trigger the $3-off-$10 produce ecoupon.
MONDAY MORNING UPDATE: Reader lynni5 writes “I tried doing the pistachio deal at Dominicks and bought 3 bags. When it was ringing it said the $3 came off but when I put in the super coupon it eliminated the $3 off.” If this happens to you, you may wish to include another $1.03 in produce, if you need or want other produce, to ensure the $3-off-$10 comes off. I (Jill) did the deal on Saturday afternoon and it worked as written…
Enjoy your super-cheap pistachios! Thanks to Ayla8 for crunching the numbers on this deal! And on to the next great Doms deal this week…
Honey Bunches of Oats – They’re on sale for $1.69 with Super Coupon as noted above. But, they also double-dip with a National Catalina sale: Buy 3 boxes and get a $2 Catalina; buy 4 boxes and get a $3 Catalina. Go for four… the 5/16 SS (exp,) 2/28 SS (exp,) or 12/6/09 SS (exp) have $1-off-2 coupons, and the 7/25 SS has a $1.50-off-2 Honey Bunches of Oats when you buy a gallon of milk.
With two $1-off-2 coupons, buy four, pay $4.76 for four and get a $3 Catalina back! Now you’re paying $1.76 for four, or .44 a box! Or, use the $1.50-off-2 coupons and save .50 more per coupon, but remember that you need to buy a gallon of milk for each of those coupons that you use.
Either way… that’s cheap cereal!
Through 12/14, here’s a deal running on Kellogg’s cereals AND a free movie ticket – Buy any 5 Kellogg’s cereals 10oz. or larger, mix and match, and receive a Catalina for a FREE movie ticket!
Many Kellogg’s cereals are on sale this week at Dominick’s for $2 a box. Even with no coupons, you’re paying $10 for 5 cereals and a movie ticket up to $12!
But of course, we need to use coupons to bring this down even more… use any of many:

“Perfect Deal” scenario? With two $2-off-2 coupons and a $1 coupon, pay $5 for 5 boxes of cereal AND a ticket to the movies!
And again, don’t forget to use those “$2 off store-brand bags” coupons too from the “Fuel For School” books if you’ve got them to sweeten this deal further!
We’ve seen this deal before, and it’s back again… Dominick’s has Classico pasta sauces (red and Alfredo) on sale for $3.69, Buy One, Get One Free.
Use the following coupons:
– 1/10 SS – Buy One Classico, Get One Free 1/10 SS (exp)
– 3/14 SS – Buy 2 Classico, save $1.50 on beef (exp)
With the first coupon, you’ll get two jars FREE. With the second coupon, you’ll also save an additional $1.50 on beef, which lines up nicely to many of the $1.99 beef sales this week.
Mini Super-Couponing lesson: Why does this work? When you use a B1G1F coupon during a B1G1F sale, you will buy none and get two free. Here’s why… and remember, it’s important to think of your coupons AS cash. If you walk into the store and give them $3.69 in cash, how many jars of Classico will that pay for? Two — because the store is selling you two for $3.69. Now, look at your B1G1F coupon. What is its value? Up to $3.99. Think of coupon as stating “up to $3.99 off two jars of Classico,” and when the price of two jars is $3.69… the coupon’s up-to-$3.99 value pays the entire price. You WILL pay tax on the pre-coupon price, as always… but both item will be free.
It’s important to note too that you do not get coupon overage with a free or B1G1F coupon when the value is “up to $3.99.” Legally, the cashier must enter the price of the first item, which in this case is $3.69. The store’s B1G1F sale makes the second item FREE. If you like learning coupon tips like these, check out my Super-Couponing workshop or DVD!
NOTE: With the most recent revision of their coupon policy, Dominick’s states “Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer.” In this situation, the B1G1F coupon applies to the price of the first jar you’re buying (making it free) and the store’s sale makes the second jar free, so no coupon is being applied to the value of the free item. Even if you work the beef coupon in, it applies to the beef — both jars of Classico are qualifying items, but the coupon does not technically “apply” to either of them.
Mission 10ct. flour tortillas are $1.99 each. Use the .75 coupon from 8/1 SS (exp) and pay $1.24…
Reader Avenger writes that Sierra Mist 2-liters are .99 currently at Dominick’s — with the $1 coupons from the Dominick’s $60 Thanksgiving coupon book, they’re FREE!
2-liters of 7-Up are .88 each. If you have the “Score More Savings” coupon books from Jewel earlier this summer, there’s a $1-off-3 (exp) coupon for the 7-Up 2-liters inside. Use it and pay $1.64 for three, or .55 per 2-liter bottle.
UPDATE: Dominick’s added a coupon on Just For U on Monday for .75 2-liters of 7-Up, limit 2. With this loaded to your card and the coupon, pay $1.38 for 3, or .46 each.
NEW JUST FOR U UPDATE: With the same site update, Dominick’s also added an ecoupon for 59oz. bottles of Simply Orange or Minute Maid Pomegranate juices for $1.99, limit 2. The “Dairy Summer Adventure” Dominick’s coupon book has a .50-off-2 coupon (exp) inside to drop this to $1.74 a bottle – good price.
Awhile ago I received a coupon book in the mail from Smithfield Pork (Paula Deen is on the cover) with $5 worth of Smithfield coupons inside. I believe it was a mail-away from earlier this year that a reader posted… at any rate, if you have the book too, grab the coupon inside for .75 off Smithfield Bacon. 12-16oz. packages of Smithfield Bacon are on sale for $3.49. Use the coupon and take it home for $2.74.
Smithfield is even cheaper at Meijer this week ($3) if you’d like to get it there…
Through December 8th, when you spend $75 or more in a single transaction, you’ll receive a $10 Catalina. Trouble is, that $75 is post-Fresh Values card savings, post-store coupon, and POST MANUFACTURER coupon. (Good luck.)
GIFT CARD DEAL: Dominick’s is running a deal on gift cards too. Buy $60 or more worth of iTunes gift cards and receive a Catalina for $15 off a purchase at Dominick’s.
“No Coupon Needed” deals:
Lucerne Large Eggs are .99 a dozen. Buy two and use this .55 off two dozen eggs to get two cartons for $1.43, or .72 a dozen – great price.
Dairy Glen Milk is $1.99 a gallon, limit 2.
Deals continuing from previous weeks:

Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. most of Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes.
AND, if you shop at the Illinois NILES or ORLAND Meijer locations, they haven’t been following the same sale flyer as the other Illinois Meijers, under the convoluted reasoning that because the stores are newer, people will shop there -without- as many products being on sale. O-kay.
For my Rockford-area shoppers (and Kroger shoppers too!) here are your Hilander deals (View weekly ad)…

I don’t think this price is great, BUT, if you worked it into another deal to get yourself up to $25, you’ll get another $5 back to sweeten this further. We’ll discuss that in a minute. :)
Note that the $2 coupon expires SUNDAY NIGHT, so if you’re reading this late on Sunday night (did you know sometimes I post Monday deals a few hours early?) you can get in on this deal with the higher-value coupon! If you’re reading on Monday, it will have expired, and you’ll need to go with the $1.

Walgreens Invisible Tape is .50 a roll with the coupon in this week’s Wags ad. (Okay, so this is not technically a “no coupon needed” deal, but the coupon’s found right in the store ad :) If, like me, you have run out of tape during prime gift-wrap season, this isn’t a bad price…

And finally, over at CVS (View weekly ad)…
The crazy CVS deal of the week? Zhu Zhu Pets, Kung Zhu Ninja Warriors and Special Forces Hamsters are on sale for $10, Buy One, Get One Free. CVS has a printable store coupon for Buy Two, Get One Free.
Here’s where you may start to get a little confused, but stay with me… :) With this coupon, you will buy one and get three more free. Those of you that have taken my Super-Couponing 2 class may remember a similar sale on goldfish crackers that works like this deal does:
Buy 4 Zhu Zhu pets:
Pet #1 – $10
Pet #2 – FREE because of store’s B1G1F sale
Pet #3 = $10 (but you will use your coupon for Buy 2, get 1 free, taking this $10 off for third pet)
Pet #4 = FREE because of store’s B1G1F sale
You’ll pay $10 for all FOUR pets, or $2.50 each! A steal! The B2G1F coupon scans automatically at the register to take off the price of the third pet.
Aside from the Zhu Zhus, it’s not a terribly exciting week at CVS. The $30/$10 P&G deal continues — several people have written to say they’re working the B1G1F Pantene coupons from 11/28 PG into it. You’ll need four copies of that insert to do the deal in this way:
Buy 8 bottles of Pantene – $3.74 each ($29.92)
We need a small filler to get over $30, and while last week, Dawn dish detergent would have been the one to use, this week it’s GAIN dish detergent – .99 (now $30.91)
Use two $1-off-2 coupons on your first four bottles of Pantene (now $28.91)
Use four B1G1F coupons on your second four bottles of Pantene (now $13.95)
Use .50 off Gain coupon, also in the 11/28 PG (now $13.45)
Pay $13.45 and get $10 back in Extra Care Bucks — you’ll pay $3.45 for eight bottles of Pantene and a Gain — less than the cost of ONE Pantene. If you like Pantene and get multiple inserts, this is your best bet!
“No Coupon Needed” deals:
10ct. Candy Canes are .50 a box, limit 6 — ONLY THROUGH TUESDAY!
CVS Tip: Remember to always scan your CVS card at the Coupon Center scanner in the store — it prints bonus coupons for you! And, CVS is now advertising a Thursday preview of the coming Sunday’s ad at www.cvs.com/weeklyad, so check in on Thursday…

As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
And, also, as always, a huge thanks to the many readers who posted and emailed deals that made it into today’s Deals of the Week! We’re all in this together, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who spots and passes along good deals that we can all enjoy :) Thank you… to YOU!
* (All You magazine is not a requirement for using the site, but if you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s a cheap ($2.49 an issue) magazine that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically $50-$100 worth per issue! You can subscribe to All You online and save about $10/year off the cover price. And depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

I just printed out two copies of the Lundberg Risotto Coupon and the Mfgr Expiration date reads: 11/1/2010; thus, it won’t work at Jewel. FYI … smiles2u

I was curious to know what you receive when you purchase 5 kellogg cereals in order to receive a free movie ticket. Do you have to send something in or do you receive it at the register.

The Excedrin Migraine Q won’t print. Due to ‘overwhelming demand’ its been pulled. I tried this last week with the same message. So I today may work but it gave me the same message. I didn’t try the regular Excedrin Q though.

Did anyone else find that their July issue of All You has a buy 2 get 1 free instead of a BOGO? The Q TOC in front of the issue says BOGO, but mine wasn’t. That would make the tuna 59 cents each instead of 29 cents each. Not too bad, but not what I was hoping for either :(

Hello, maybe I’m blind and it’s right in front of me, but I can’t find the UPC list for the Jewel $30 P&G cat deal, is it posted this time? I thought maybe it wasn’t posted, but I’m seeing other people’s comments mentioning it. I want to make sure I get the right Tide.
Thanks

Bayer USB and Didget Blood Glucose Meters are 9.99 at Walgreens. There were $20 coupons for these making them free!

I was able to use the $10 cat from the PG deal towards a Jewel card. I asked the cashier, just to make sure, and she told me that the only exclusion is using a gift card to buy another gift card. I left really happy.
Moving to Walgreens, I had my PG insert from 11/28, but there was no coupon there for the Glide. I used the coupon from the $110 PG everyday instead.

I tried doing the pistachio deal at Dominicks and bought 3 bags. When it was ringing it said the $3 came off but when I put in the super coupon it eliminated the $3 off.

Does anyone know if the bonus jingle cash will print out if you pay for your purchase with jingle cash from the previous week? (I am hoping that would be okay)

You mentioned int he deals that instead of downloading the ecoupon,
to clip it from the paper.
I have looked over the last two weeks of paper and can’t seem to find the $3 off $10 product coupon.
I presume it is a Dominick’s store coupon (super coupon?)…please specify. Thank you.

“O Organics half-gallons of milk: They’re $2.99 each, limit 3, with Super Coupon. Stack this with the $1 off any O Organics coupons found in stores earlier this year and pay $1.99!”
The fine print on the O Organics coupons I have/had said that they were not valid on fluid dairy products. FYI.

Thanks so much for putting this together! I have so much fun doing deals like these…and probably spend too much time looking them up when I should be doing homework like writing my unit plan…but I figure this is kind of like homework for life :)
Also, meijer’s Mperks has a coupon for $5 off a $9.99+ game that you can use with manufacturer’s coupons! I’m going to get Funglish, on sale for $13, use the $5 Q from the paper and the $5 Mperks to get it for $3!! So excited :)

I haven’t tried this yet but Duracell batteries are 5.99/7.99 at Jewel. Using the 1.50 ll/14R1 coupons on 4 20 packs gets you to 17.96 less the $10 gc. Not bad if you have RRs to redeem.
That deal pales in comparison to Staples two 20 packs of Rayovac free after rebate, which you can do every WEEK, and these rebates are mailed automatically once you’re registered there.

You cannot use that $1 coupon because it says it excludes cavity and the other non-premium toothpastes. Also you have to look at some of the $.75 coupons as not all of those can be used on the non-premium pastes.

There are unexpired IPs out there for these, making it a GREAT deal. I was able to buy two whole roasters for around $4.50 after using two of these coupons, making the whole roasters about 75 cents per pound.

I am really upset…LITH Doms cashier would not allow the extra $2.00 off the cranberry man Q on the Mini-wheats in addition to the $1.00 man q off two boxes of cereal.
Jill, I don’t know how you and the other couponers out there get your cashiers to use both coupons. I know you have always stated that one is for the cereal and the other only applies to the other product one purchases in addition the the cereal. However, I cant’ make them see this the way you do.
Anything in writing that I can take back to the service desk?

I just came from using my coupons on the Air wicks. I have been trying to do it since last week, but the insert coupon said $3 off on any 3 Air wick scented oil single refills. So, I gave it a try.
I bought 3 Airwicks refills for 2.99 each, 3 Airwicks candles for 4.99, 2 airwicks warmers for 0.94 and one for 1.99 (night light). Total: $27.81 pre coupons.
However, here is my scenario, I had 3 off for the Candles, 3 off on three airwicks refills and free warmers per airwick oil refills that you buy, that’s $15.87 in coupons. For a total of $11.94.
But, when I paid (I still gave the cashier all my 9 coupons thinking that maybe the $3 off on three will rang on each item individually), the coupons rang a lot different and ended up paying $6.76 instead (not complaning, but a little confussed). The 3 off coupons on 3 refills, well, they scanned as 3 off on each one of the refills which made them free (maybe that’s the deal Jill has been writing about).
Here is the breakdown,
3 x 4.99 = 14.97 – 9 (three $3 off coupons) = 5.97
3 x 2.99 = 8.97 – 9 (three $3 off coupons) = overage 0.03
2 x 0.94 = 1.88 and 1.99 = 3.87 – $3 coupon = 0.87 for a total of $6.81 (but it rang as $6.76 instead).
One again, not complaining, but the warmers should had have come out as Free instead paying the 0.87 cents since I had the coupon (well, ideal scenario).
The other thing is that the cashier rang the coupons and when she read the airwick refill one, she returned two of them back to me…. I guess I have two more coupons to use (maybe at a different day, and different time) for two more free refills (if it works).

Did anyone happen to see if there was a limit on the $.99 price? I only had Sunday’s ad and didn’t see the eggs mentioned. Purchased 4 and my register tape shows 2 @ $1.99 and 2 @ $.99. Am going back to see if there was a limit to card or transaction and see if I can return and repurchase.

trying to do any Pampers/free wipes scenarios at the McHenry Jewel. They do not carry the 72 count ThickCare Pampers wipes. And don’t bother driving to the Jewel on the corner of Route 12 and Big Hollow Road to try to do it there either as they don’t carry the Pampers 72 count ThickCare wipes and the only $1.00 Puffs they carry are the ones with lotion/aloe!!
I gave up. I am going to buy the Pampers at my local Target because they DO HAVE the 72 count ThickCare Pampers wipes and their Pampers diapers are a few cents cheaper too. It isn’t a crisis for me as I only need them for a baby shower gift; not my personal use. My ‘baby’ is 20…no more diapers needed here!

Jewel has the free milk with purchase of Post cereals. In store, you’ll find another coupon for $1 off milk w/ purchase of Oreos. Not as hot of a deal on cereal as Dominick’s but I needed milk and cereal so it worked for me.

Just got back from Dominicks (on Eola, have to give a shout out for my VERY nice cashier Susie tonight). Didn’t work for me either-I used the paper coupon. It showed as coming off when everything was rung in, and then when I gave the cashier my coupons, the $3 produce disappeared. Maybe they fixed it over the weekend.

Thank you for changing the way I shop and helping me save save save. I have been doing this for 2 1/2 months now and it is truly amazing how much you can save. I love shopping in my basement on a daily basis on stuff that I have gotten super super cheap. I love the other deals that fellow posters share. Just did the diaper deal at Walgreens twice. Hoping my little one will be out of diapers by the time these are gone.
Have a Merry Christmas – cant wait to go to Super Couponing 2 in Palatine in January.

Jill, thanks for the reminders to scan your CVS card. I went to CVS to do the Zhu Zhu Pet deal, scanned my card and received a $2.50 coupon off of Planters Flavor Grove. Planters Flavor Grove nuts are on sale for $2.50 so it came out free. I really appreciate all of your tips. My family has save so much money over the past year. In addition, we have never had so much food in the house and been able to give so much to the food pantries. This makes all the difference in this tough economuy.

I was at Walgreens today to get the Hallmark tissue paper deal. Buy 6 tissue paper with coupon-$2 and get a $5 Jingle back. I was behind 2 other ladies at the cosmetic counter who were buying cases of them. I actually waited an hour to check out. Mostly I did it because, obviously, I wanted to watch them do their deals and see it in action. I still consider myself a newbie. It was fascinating to watch. The managers started coming around though as the stock of tissue was all gone and others were looking for it to do the deal as well.
Just wondering, is their some sort of couponer courtesy that says how many of these deals is acceptable without being outright greedy? I was trying to do 5 of the deals myself. Was that greedy when others were looking to do it as well? I am just curious what others think of this.
