Dominicks Grocery Deals

Pepsi 2-liters: Buy 2 Get 2 FREE = .60 each with coupon

If you’re still hanging on to your FREE Pepsi Next 2-liter coupons from the Super Bowl promotion, they do expire on 3/31. This week, Pepsi 2-liters are on sale Buy 2 Get 2 FREE.

The 2-liters are priced stupidly high at $2.39. But, if you have one FREE coupon, you’d buy four bottles and pay $2.39 for all four, or about .60 each.

$12 off Ham coupon

Dominick’s new Sunday ad has a coupon for $12 off any one Safeway spiral sliced half ham, Safeway bone-in whole ham, shank half ham or rump half ham, all Smithfield hams and Paula Deen bone-in hams with a $25 in-store purchase. The coupon is good through 3/31.

Easiest way to use this coupon? Look for hams priced at or just above $12, and you’ll take it home free, or for very little money!

Your $25 purchase is AFTER all Dominick’s coupons but does NOT say it excludes manufacturer coupons. It DOES, however, exclude milk and a few other items. Something to keep in mind when you’re putting a trip together…

$1.50 Quaker Chewy granola bars

6ct. Quaker Chewy Dipps granola bars are on sale for $2. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 from the February All You’ll pay $3 for two, or $1.50 each.

$1.62 Domino brown or powdered sugar

2lb. bags of Domino brown or powdered sugar are $1.99. Buy two and use the .75-off-2 coupon from the 3/17 RP. You’ll pay $3.23 for two, or about $1.62 each!

$4.79 Hinode Calrose rice

5lb. bags of Hinode Calrose rice (white or brown) are on sale for $5.79. Use this $1 printable and pay $4.79.

Dominick’s Gas Rewards Points

Dominick’s ad is advertising a gas Rewards Points program. Every $1 spent on groceries or pharmacy equals 1 point. (The usual exclusions apply – see ad.) Every $1 spent on qualifying gift cards earns 2 points. (These exclude any “cash” cards like Visa, Mastercard, as well as Dominick’s gift cards.)

When you reach 100 points, you earn .10 per gallon in savings. Earn 200 points and save .20 per gallon at Mobil gas stations. The maximum you can earn at any time is .20 per gallon. You can learn more at this link.

Notes on this week’s Just For U ecoupons

It’s time for another round of “Are-they-or-aren’t-they-manufacturer coupons” on Just For U! While Dominick’s maintains that these JFU offers are manufacturer coupons, as we’ve seen pretty much each week, this isn’t always true, and at times manufacturer coupons can be stacked with them too. The only way to find out is to try.

Additionally, while most of these are noted as one-time uses, sometimes they are still available later in the week. So, I will show coupon matchups when available, but we won’t really know if stacking works unless we try. As always, I’m listing only what I feel are the best deals for the current week.

.99 Black Pearls olives

5.75-6oz. cans of Black Pearls ripe or pitted olives are $1.49 each. Drop the price to .99, limit 4, with the ecoupon at JFU.

$1.99 Kellogg’s Special K bars

This is one of my favorite brands of pancake mix (hello there, perfectly light and fluffy pancakes!) and we rarely see sales on it. 28-32oz. Krusteaz pancake mix is on sale for $1.99, limit 4, with store ad coupon.

$4 All laundry detergent

100-ounce (big bottles!) of All laundry detergent are $5. Buy two and use the $2-off-2 from the 3/10 RP. You’ll pay $8 for two, or $4 each! Limit 4 total.

Notes on the Frozen Food Month Catalina

Dominick’s Frozen Food Month Catalina is back throught 3/31, and it’s a two-tier offer:

– Buy $30 or more of participating frozen foods, get a $10 Catalina
– Buy $20 or more of participating frozen foods, get a $5 Catalina

The ad says the $20 and $30 tiers are after “any coupons, promotions or discounts,” excluding tax.

Check your J4U personalized deals. Mine has McCormick vanilla extract for $1.92 (1 oz. size). They’re currently on sale B1G1. There’s also a coupon in RP 3-3 for $.75. I paid $2.38 (including tax) for 4 bottles. They’re regularly priced at $4.99 each
