Dominicks Grocery Deals

$12 off Ham coupon

Dominick’s new Sunday ad has a coupon for $12 off any one Safeway spiral sliced half ham, Safeway bone-in whole ham, shank half ham or rump half ham, all Smithfield hams and Paula Deen bone-in hams with a $25 in-store purchase. The coupon is good through 3/31.

Easiest way to use this coupon? Look for hams priced at or just above $12, and you’ll take it home free, or for very little money!

Your $25 purchase is AFTER all Dominick’s coupons but does NOT say it excludes manufacturer coupons. It DOES, however, exclude milk and a few other items. Something to keep in mind when you’re putting a trip together…

Pepsi 2-liters: Buy 2 Get 2 FREE = .60 each with coupon

If you’re still hanging on to your FREE Pepsi Next 2-liter coupons from the Super Bowl promotion, they do expire on 3/31. This week, Pepsi 2-liters are on sale Buy 2 Get 2 FREE.

The 2-liters are priced stupidly high at $2.39. But, if you have one FREE coupon, you’d buy four bottles and pay $2.39 for all four, or about .60 each.

$2 off 3 Hallmark

Still running through 4/9: When you buy any three Hallmark cards (excluding .99 cards) you will receive $@ in instant savings.

Dominick’s Gas Rewards Points

Dominick’s ad is advertising a gas Rewards Points program. Every $1 spent on groceries or pharmacy equals 1 point. (The usual exclusions apply – see ad.) Every $1 spent on qualifying gift cards earns 2 points. (These exclude any “cash” cards like Visa, Mastercard, as well as Dominick’s gift cards.)

When you reach 100 points, you earn .10 per gallon in savings. Earn 200 points and save .20 per gallon at Mobil gas stations. The maximum you can earn at any time is .20 per gallon. You can learn more at this link.

Notes on this week’s Just For U ecoupons

It’s time for another round of “Are-they-or-aren’t-they-manufacturer coupons” on Just For U! While Dominick’s maintains that these JFU offers are manufacturer coupons, as we’ve seen pretty much each week, this isn’t always true, and at times manufacturer coupons can be stacked with them too. The only way to find out is to try.

Additionally, while most of these are noted as one-time uses, sometimes they are still available later in the week. So, I will show coupon matchups when available, but we won’t really know if stacking works unless we try. As always, I’m listing only what I feel are the best deals for the current week.

$2.99 Axe deodorant (possibly $1.99)

(Why IS Axe so expensive? You could have cheap/free deodorant anytime, but if you’re an Axe lover, they make you pay a premium…) Axe 2.7-3oz. deodorant is $3.99. Drop the price to $2.99 with the ecoupon at JFU. You may also be able to stack the $1 coupon from the 3/24 RP and pay $1.99 – and that’s semi-“cheap” for Axe…

$2.99 Windex Touch-Up (possibly $1.99)

10oz. Windex Touch Up is $3.49. Drop the price to $2.99 with the coupon at JFU, limit 2. You may also be able to stack the $1 coupon from the 3/17 SS, 2/17 SS, or a printable to drop the price to $1.99.

$2.99 Sargento Natural cheese slices (possibly $2.74)

6.67-8oz. Sargento Natural cheese slices are $3.49. Drop the price to $2.99 with the ecoupon at JFU. You may also be able to buy the thin slices and stack the .75 coupon from the 3/24 SS for $2.74 cheese.

$3.99 Nectresse (possibly $1.99)

5.9oz. canisters of Nectresse sweetener are $5.99. Drop the price to $3.99 with the ecoupon at JFU, limit 1. ~~You may also be able to stack this $2 printable and pay $1.99!~~ – update – JFU discount is ringing as a manufacturer ecoupon, so no stacking.

$9.99 Safeway Farms thick bacon ($3.33/lb.)

This is my favorite, favorite bacon, as I’ve said many times here. 3lb. packages of Safeway thick sliced bacon are $12.99. Drop the price to $9.99, limit 5, with the ecoupon at JFU. That works out to $3.33/lb.

.75 Betty Crocker boxed potatoes

4.6-6.6oz. Betty Crocker boxed potatoes are .99 each when you buy four. You must buy four to receive this price. So, buy four and use two .50-off-2 coupons from the 2/3 SS (exp. 3/30!) Pay $2.98 for four, or about .75 each.

.99 Kraft Cool Whip

8oz. Kraft Cool Whip is .99, limit 4, with store ad coupon.

Mission tortillas and Safeway brown rice B1G1F – as low as .99 each

Use the store coupon in the weekly Dominick’s ad for 16oz. Mission corn tortillas or Safeway Brown rice to buy one and get a second FREE. Safeway’s online pricing shows Mission priced at $2.69 and the brown rice priced at $1.99. Two brown rices would be your best deal, dropping them to about a dollar a bag.

$1 Betty Crocker fruit snacks

5-5.4oz. Betty Crocker Fruit Gushers and Fruit Roll-Ups are on sale for $1.50. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 coupon from the 2/24 SS. You’ll pay $2 for two, or $1 each! There’s also a .50 off 2 printable.

$1.38 Quaker Life or Chewy granola bars

13oz. Quaker Life cereal and 8ct. Chewy granola bars are $1.88, limit 4, with store ad coupon. Use the $1-off-2 from the February All You and drop the price to $1.38 each!

Use the store coupon in the weekly Dominick’s ad for 16oz. Safeway dried beans, peas or lentils to buy one bag and get a second of your choice FREE. Safeway’s online pricing shows these bags priced at $1.59 each, so that drops them to about .80 per bag.

$1.62 I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter spread

7.5-21.3oz. I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter spread is $1.99, limit 3, with store ad coupon. Buy two and stack that with the .75-off-2 from the 3/24 RP. Pay $3.23 for two, or about $1.62 each.

Old Orchard B2G1F Coupon

There’s a store coupon in the ad for Buy 2 Old Orchard frozen juice concentrates, get 1 free. If you still have the B1G1F printable I linked on the blog a few weeks ago, use it here with this. You’ll buy one and get TWO free. Safeway’s online pricing shows these at $2.59 each, so this is only a decent deal with the B1G1F printable.

There’s a store coupon in the weekly ad for $2 off McCormick spices, limit 2. No spice prices in ad.

Dominick’s Frozen Food Month Catalina is back throught 3/31, and it’s a two-tier offer:

JFU Nectresse e-coupon is a manufacturer coupon, so you can’t stack it with a paper coupon.

There is a $2 off JFU store e-coupon for $3.99 and up Hallmark cards.

The pork shoulder blade roast is fantastic for pulled pork in the crockpot. $1.99/lb is a great price. I’ll be picking some up today for sure!

At my Mt Prospect store, McCormick Spices were b2g1 free. I used the $2 store coupon and used the limit of 2, and two .75/1 MQ’s from the 3/3 RP, and only paid about $3.50 OOP for three containers of spice!
