Jewel is running an “A Taste Of Home” mail-in promotion on P&G products. Buy $25 worth of P&G products in one transaction and receive a 2-piece cookware set and one cookbook of your choice via mail (view ad here.)

The cookware is a 12-quart tamale steamer, a 5-cup rice cooker, and one of the following cookbooks: “Fresh Mexico,” “Latin Grilling,” or “Cocina Cubana.” $25 worth of goods must be purchased in the same transaction, and you must submit a receipt from the same store you found the forms in (must be from Jewel – cannot use a Dominick’s receipt, etc.)

Here are your Hilander deals (also running at Logli and Schnucks)… View weekly ad

The Rockford-area Logli stores share the same ad as Hilander (Schnucks) now, so these deals apply at the four Rockford-area Logli stores as well. I have had some readers from DeKalb write and ask if these deals will also apply to their store. In looking at both ads, SOME of the deals are the same, but Rockford at times has a Hilander-specific wraparound that isn’t a part of the DeKalb Schnucks ad. Remember too that the DeKalb store does not double coupons.

The current ad is good through TUESDAY, January 31st.

If you haven’t heard already, the BIG BIG news is that Hilander, Logli and Schnucks are all TRIPLING coupons this week! Or, for a crazy coupon deal, make this a moneymaker. Here’s a manufacturer coupon for Buy 2, Get 1 Free. CVS’s website has a store coupon for $2 off 3 cards. Yes, you can stack these all together, even though it will probably be confusing if you’re new at this! So… go this way:

The Buy 2 Get 1 Free comes first. If you buy three .99 cards, the coupon will take the price of one off, leaving you at $1.98. Then, the CVS store coupon is scanned, taking $2 off (it will likely adjust down to $1.98.)

Pay nothing but tax and get $3 back in ECBs… nice moneymaker!

Tom’s Of Maine deodorant, mouthwash, or toothpaste are all on sale for $3.99 each. Buy one and get $3 back in ECBs, making this .99! This offer is limit 2, and it’s a good buy for Tom’s if you like it, as deals on it don’t come around too often.

CVS is running a “Spend $10, Get $3 in ECBs” deal on Hellmann’s, Lipton, and Ragu. Here are your products and matchups:

Bertolli pasta sauce (15-24oz.) – 3-for-$5 ($1.66 each)

CVS is running another “Spend $30, Get $10 in ECBs” deal. This one has a lot of healthcare items, as well as baby products too. I’d like to see BETTER prices on some of the products here, but here are your best bets:

Luvs jumbo pack diapers are on sale for $6.99. Buy four packages of Luvs ($27.96) and one $3 tub of Pampers baby wipes (now $30.96.) Use the .50 Pampers wipes coupons from 1/29 PG. Pay $30.46 and get $10 back in ECBs. That drops you to $20.46 for four jumbo packs, or about $5.12 per jumbo pack… plus a “free” tub of wipes!

Metamucil powder 114 doses, 44ct. Fiber Singles, 120-160ct. capsules or 11.7oz. Clear and Natural are on sale for $12.49. Buy two ($24.98) and add a package of Always Infinity as a filler to get to $30 (now $31.97.) Use two $1 Metamucil coupons from 1/29 PG or 1/1 PG, and use one $2 Always coupon from 1/1 PG. After all coupons, pay $27.97 and get $10 back in ECBs. That’s $17.97 for two Metamucil, or about $8.99 each… plus “free” Always.

Or, do an all Always deal. Buy four packages at $6.99 each ($27.60) and add a package of Pampers baby wipes as a filler (now $30.60.) Use four $2 Always coupons from 1/1 PG and one .50 Pampers wipes coupon from 1/29 PG. After all coupons, pay $19.10 and get $10 back in ECBs! That’s $9.10 for four Always, or about $2.28 each… plus “free” wipes.

Eucerin and Aquaphor products are part of a “Spend $20, get $10” deal. This is a good opportunity to get some of these products cheaper if you like them, as they aren’t often part of deals. There’s a $1 Eucerin coupon in the 1/29 RP1, or use printables.

Easy deal: The Eucerin hand cream was $5.49 at my store. Buy four ($21.96.) Use four $1 coupons (now $17.96.) Pay $17.96 and get $10 back. That’s $7.96 for four, or $1.99 each.

All Salma Hayek Nuance products are on a “Spend $20, get $10 in ECBs” deal this week.

CVS Tips: Remember to always scan your CVS card at the Coupon Center scanner in the store — it prints bonus coupons for you!

And, if you haven’t already, make sure your CVS ExtraCare card is registered for the CVS Beauty Club before you do any deals involving beauty products. It gives you $5 in ECBs for every $50 you spend on beauty products, and it is cumulative, meaning you don’t have to spend $50 in one trip. It keeps track for you and will automatically print ECBs on your next visit to the store when you reach a $50 threshold.

Wrapping things up with Walmart…

DiGiorno large pizzas sell for around $5 at Walmart ($4.98 at mine.) Buy two and use the $2-off-2 coupon from 1/29 RP1. You’ll pay $7.96 for two, or $3.98 each! Great price for DiGiorno!

Deals continuing from previous weeks:

Did you see the nice new $5 Purina One Beyond dog food coupon in the 1/15 SS? 3.5lb. bags sell for about $6.49 at Walmart (that’s what they were priced at in my area, anyway.) Use the coupon and pay $1.49!

Policies to know:

• Walmart will price match any competitor’s advertised price. Bring the other store’s flyers with you to the store.
   
• With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept other store’s STORE coupons with an actual price listed on them. For example, a Dominick’s store coupon advertising “.99 Ragu Pasta Sauce” would be accepted. A Walgreens store coupon advertising “2/$1 Morton’s Salt” would be accepted. (A Target store coupon for “$2.50 off Huggies” would not, because it does not show the actual selling price of the item.)
   
• With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept competitor’s Catalina manufacturer coupons. You can get a Catalina for $1 off Snuggle and use it at Walmart.
   
• Walmart’s new coupon policy specifically addresses coupon overage. It says “Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.”
   

I would print a copy and carry a copy of the coupon policy with you if you anticipate any issues.

I do not blog Walmart deals each week unless there is a weekly ad with noteworthy deals. Every store location’s regular prices are different, and Walmart does not issue a weekly ad every week.
