Grocery Deals
Starting at Jewel (View weekly ad)
First off, Catalina alerts are printing for a $25/$10 Catalina sale on ConAgra Foods products from 2/6-2/17! This is one of our favorite Catalina sales to look forward to.
The Sunday Jewel ad’s back page also has some store coupons that can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for additional savings. Note that the coupons in the Thursday ad and INSIDE the Sunday ad are MANUFACTURER coupons and cannot be stacked with additional manufacturer coupons.
Polaner Fruit Spreads (10oz.) are on sale for $1.99. Use this $1 printable and pay .99 a jar! This is a GREAT price for Polaner, which rarely goes on sale and offers coupons.
UPDATE: Coupon at this link is now printing for the SUGAR FREE Polaner, which is not on sale for $1.99.
Skippy peanut butter is $1.50 a jar. In the Thursday Jewel ad, there’s a coupon for $1-off-2 that will make this $1 a jar. But if you’ve got the Dominick’s $70 Big Party Playbook, use the $1 Skippy coupon inside and pay .50!
Jewel’s running an instant-savings deal on a variety of beverages — buy 10, save $5. Your best bets here are Vitaminwater and Fuze 18.5-20oz. beverages, which are .75 each when purchased in quantities of 10. There’s a coupon in the Jewel $55 coupon book for $3-off-10 Vitaminwater or Fuze — the same coupon was also sent out as a printable via Jewel’s email list recently.
With the coupon, buy 10 Vitaminwater and/or Fuze. You’ll pay $4.50 for 10, or .45 each!
A few weeks ago, I posted this deal for Kikkoman soy sauces, which at the time was a Target deal. Now, with the addition of a Kikkoman Catalina offer, it’s fun to do at Jewel this week if you didn’t print the coupons last time.
It’s a crazy little deal on 3 bottles of soy sauce and a dozen eggs! Try to follow along, as I said.. this one’s a little crazy…
Kikkoman Soy Sauce is $1.79 this week at Jewel. Print this $1 coupon for your first bottle and this Buy One, Get One Free coupon for the second bottle. Then, print this “Buy Kikkoman soy sauce, get Ponzu sauce FREE” printable too!
To top it all off, clip the “Buy any Kikkoman product, get .55 off eggs” coupon from the 1/23 RP or the February issue of All You magazine.
Ready to put the deal together?
Buy 2 Kikkoman Soy Sauce ($1.79 each = $3.58)
Buy 1 Kikkoman Ponzu Sauce (will be FREE with coupon)
If you want them, also buy 1 dozen eggs ($1.79 at most stores)
Use $1 Kikkoman coupon for the first bottle and B1G1F coupon for the second bottle.
The Ponzu sauce is free with the third coupon, and the eggs are .55 less with the fourth coupon.
Because you’re buying two bottles of soy sauce, each bottle is a qualifier for the third and fourth coupons in this deal.
After all coupons, you’ll pay .79 for THREE bottles of Kikkoman sauce. With the eggs in the deal, pay a total of $2.03 for EVERYTHING.
Here’s where this deal becomes even MORE fun at Jewel this week. The Kikkoman Catalina offer: Buy 2 Kikkoman and get a .75 Catalina; Buy 3 and get a $1.50 Catalina; Buy 4 or more and get a $2.50 Catalina.
With 3 sauces purchased, you’ll get a $1.50 Catalina back, making this a MONEYMAKER if you buy only the sauces, and knocking your total to a whopping .53 for everything if you keep the eggs in the deal.
UPDATED 2:40pm Monday: Readers report Kikkoman Low Sodium sauces are NOT triggering the Catalina.
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Some readers report that the Catalina is also printing at Dominick’s AND Meijer, so you can do this deal at any of those stores.
UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE: I am receiving LOTS of reports of this deal working AND not working, all from different stores and different varieties of sauces. If you do the deal, I think it’s best to expect to pay .79 for your THREE Kikkoman sauces, and if you do get the Catalina, consider it a bonus..! I do NOT have a UPC list for this Catalina deal unfortunately, though many have asked.
“Okay” cereal deal: Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereal is on sale for $2.49. Use the $1 coupon from 1/30 RP2 and take it home for $1.49…
But, if you have FOUR of this coupon, you’re better off doing it at Dominick’s this week, where it’s $1.99 when you buy 4. Read on…
Nature’s Farm hormone-free milk is a great buy through Feb. 13th! It’s on sale for $3.99 a half-gallon carton, Buy One, Get One Free. Look in the refrigerated case near the milk for tearpad coupons for $1 or $2 off the milk. (Note that these do tend to go fast!)
With two $1 coupons, pay $1.99 for two cartons, or about $1 each!
With a $2 coupon and a $1 coupon, pay .99 for TWO, or about .50 each! GREAT price for hormone-free milk.
“4 for $10” meat instant-savings sale Jewel is running an instant-savings sale on a variety of meats. Buy 4 and the price of each is $2.50. You must buy four to receive the $2.50 price. Here are your products and matchups: Butterball Turkey Bacon (12oz.) – $2.50 Jewel Pepperoni (6-8oz.) – $2.50 Eckrich Smoked Sausage or Kielbasa (13-16oz.) – $2.50 Jewel Pre-Cooked Bacon (2.1oz.) – $2.50 Jewel Wafer-Thin Lunch Meat (12oz.) – $2.50 Johnsonville Breakfast Sausage (12oz.) – $2.50 Shoppers Value Bacon (12oz.) – $2.50 Tennessee Pride Breakfast Sausage Roll (16oz.) – $2.50 |
My thoughts? The Johnsonville sausage is a very good price. If you pick up another ad in the store, use two coupons and pay $6 for 4, or $1.50 a package! Working the Jewel $2-off-$10 in is pretty good here if you want to an all Jewel-brand deal. The best bet is the sliced lunch meat (turkey, ham, etc.) Buy 4 and pay $8, or $2 per 12-oz. package — a pretty good price for sliced lunch meat. In general, ANY pre-cooked bacon is never going to be a deal, especially at $2.50 for 2.1 ounces.
General Mills “4-for-$1.75 each” instant-savings sale This week, selected General Mills cereals, granola bars and fruit snacks are $1.75 each WHEN you buy in quantities of 4. Note that you must buy 4 to receive the instant-savings $1.75 price. Here are your products and matchups: CEREALS: Cinnamon Toast Crunch (12.8oz.) – $1.75 Cheerios (14oz.) – $1.75 Honey Nut Cheerios (12.25 oz.) – $1.75 GRANOLA BARS: Nature Valley Granola Bars (6-8.9oz.) – $1.75 Nature Valley Granola Thins (6oz.) – $1.75 FRUIT SNACKS: Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks (4.5-9oz.) – $1.75 |
My thoughts? Dominick’s just had the same cereals on sale for the past two weeks on a “Buy 4 and they’re $1.49 each” instant-savings sale, but if you’re brand-new at this, cereals will be $1.20-$1.25/box with coupons. Unless you REALLY need them, the granola bars and fruit snacks are not great prices here — the same fruit snacks are .99 a box at Dominick’s this week, pre-coupon (and were just .19 a box after coupons and Catalinas earlier this month.)
“No Coupon Needed” Deals
Jewel bagged popcorn (32oz. — the kind you pop in a popper or a pot!) is $2.39.
Jewel English Muffins (6ct.) are $1.50 a package.
Remember to use the $2-off-$10 Jewel Brand coupon in the $55 coupon book in the store if you’re stocking up on Jewel brands!
Jewel-Osco information:
Jewel-Osco has a Facebook page. If you have questions directly for corporate, you can ask them there (and they answer promptly!)
Are you on the Jewel-Osco email list yet? Jewel has been making coupons available for many different products over the past few months, and they’re usually store coupons that you can stack manufacturer coupons with too. I’d recommend getting on their list if you shop there.
Coupon books currently found at Jewel:
Value Your Heart – $35 worth of coupons, including one for a free 8-pack of Coke when you buy 3 12-packs
Savings for a Better You – $55 worth of coupons, including a “$2 off $10 Jewel-brand food purchase.” Great for meat and produce!
Jewel meat deals:
- Jewel fresh spiral sliced half ham (bone-in) is .99/lb.
- Perdue chicken drumsticks or thighs are $1.69/lb.
- Jewel split chicken breasts are $1.99/lb.
- Jewel’s running a $4-for-$10 sale on many pre-packaged meats, noted above.
- And, if you have the new $55 coupon book from Jewel, there is a $2-off-$10 coupon for any Jewel brand products inside. If you’re buying Jewel-brand meats during this sale, use the coupon and pay $17.99…
Jewel seafood deals:
- Fresh whole catfish are $2.99/lb.
- Arctic Shores 2lb. frozen medium shrimp are $9.99 a bag. If you printed the $1 off Arctic Shores seafood coupon sent out on the Jewel-Osco email list last week, pay $8.99, or about $4.50/lb.
Jewel produce deals:
- 3lb. bags of yellow onions are .99 – that’s .33/lb! GREAT price!
- 2lb. bags of Farm Stand cello carrots are .99 – that’s about .50/lb., also an excellent price.
- Anjou or Red pears are $1.49/lb.
- Pinata, Jazz or Pacific Rose apples are $1.79/lb.
- If you have the new $55 coupon book from Jewel, there is a $2-off-$10 coupon for any Jewel brand products inside. If you’re buying Jewel-brand packaged produce during this sale, use the coupon and pay $8…
(Anytime meat is under $1.99 a pound (no matter what it is — beef, pork, poultry) it’s a buy in my book, because $1.99 is a cycle low and a good benchmark for meat prices — ditto for most produce. Seafood, by its nature, is more expensive per pound, but a good “buy” benchmark is $4 per pound or less for fish or shrimp.)
Let’s go to Dominick’s (View weekly ad)…
Note to my Safeway shoppers reading from outside Chicagoland: In Chicago, Dominick’s currently accepts expired coupons up to one year past the expiration date, so my coupon matchups for Dominick’s deals will include expired coupons. If an expired coupon matchup is provided, it will be noted with (exp) after the date. Also, in Chicago, Dominick’s does not double coupons (as other Safeway stores do) – if your store doubles, you’ll do even better with many of these deals. Also, in Chicago, previously-available ecoupons (Cellfire, ShortCuts and PGEsaver) have been discontinued. Ecoupons are now available in the “Just For U” section of electronic coupons available at Dominicks.com.
Dominick’s Super Coupons:
These are store coupons found in the weekly Dominick’s flyer, which (in the case of the name-brand products) means they can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for even bigger savings. You can also now load these Super Coupons to your Fresh Values card via Dominicks.com and not have to clip them. Best bets this week?

Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. most of Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes.
AND, if you shop at the Illinois NILES or ORLAND Meijer locations, they haven’t been following the same sale flyer as the oter Illinois Meijers, under the convoluted reasoning that because the stores are newer, people will shop there -without- as many products being on sale. O-kay.

Off to Target
(View weekly ad)…
Here’s a Target cereal deal on Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut cereal! It’s on sale through Saturday for $2.50 a box. Target’s site has a very nice Buy One, Get One Free coupon that knocks this to $2.50 for two, or $1.25 each.
But of course, we want to stack some manufacturer coupons in here too, don’t we? The 1/23 RP has a $1 coupon. With one coupon, pay $1.50 for two, or .75 each. Now, because the B1G1F is a STORE coupon, we can technically stack a manufacturer coupon here as well. If you’ve got two $1 manufacturer coupons, here’s a “best-case” scenario:
Buy 2 Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut cereals ($5)
Use two $1 manufacturer coupons ($3)
Use B1G1F Target store coupon. IF your cashier uses the pre-coupon price of the cereal, the register take $2.50 off, and you’ll be down to .50 for TWO boxes, or .25 each… my favorite price for cereal!
However, because this is such an odd stack, cashiers may be inclined to take $1.50 off for the B1G1F. If that happens, you’ll again pay $1.50 for two, or .75 a box. Still cheap.
6-8oz. bags of Kraft shredded cheese are on sale for $2. Target has a $1.25-off-2 store coupon as a printable on their site. Print that, buy two, and also use this $1 printable (print two of those too.)
After all coupons, you’ll pay .75 for TWO bags, or about .38 a bag! I love cheese deals!
Fun little coupon stack! Print the “Buy one Reeses Peanut Butter Cup, Get One Free” store coupon from Target’s site and stack it with the B1G1F manufacturer coupon from the 12/12/10 SS insert. Buy two peanut butter cups and BOTH will be free!
This week, Target has Pepsi product 12-packs on sale for $2.50 each, limit 6. The new Dominick’s $70 Big Party Playbook coupon book has a $2-off-4 manufacturer coupon inside. Use it here and pay $8 for 4 12-packs of Pepsi, or $2 each. Not too bad.
Knorr Side Dishes (rice mixes in pouches) are on price cut through this Saturday for .93 each. Use the $.50-off-2 coupon from 1/30 RP1, buy two and pay $1.36 for two, or .68 each!
Lipton tea bags (16ct.) are priced at $1.19 at most Target stores. With the .60 coupon from the new 1/30 RP1, you’ll pay .59 for the box.
Here’s a “little” deodorant deal (and I do mean LITTLE!) This weekend’s new 1/30 RP1 insert has a coupon for .75 off ANY Degree men’s or women’s deodorant. Target sells travel sizes of each Degree variety in the trial-size section for .97 each. With coupon, pay .22!
Suave travel-size deodorants are also .97 at Target. Use the .75 coupon from 1/30 RP1 and get one of these for .22 too!
No, they’re not free, but that’s very cheap if you like these for traveling… or you’re truly hard-up for a cheap deodorant deal… read on.
So you want a full-size deodorant cheaply? Grab your new 1/30 PG insert and clip the “FREE Secret Deodorant when you buy any Olay bar or body wash” coupon. Head to the fabulous travel/trial size aisle at Target and buy an Olay travel-sized bar of soap for .97. You’ve now qualified for to buy a full-sized Secret deodorant FREE, so take both home for .97!
And, if you do this deal TODAY (1/31) clip the $2 off ANY Olay bar coupon from the 12/26 PG. Use it on your trial-size bar of soap… get that free… AND use the second coupon on the secret. Free Olay soap AND free Secret deodorant… now THAT’s a deal!
If you need a lotion deal, Vaseline Intensive Rescue is $2.97 for the big bottle. Use this $1 Target store printable coupon and stack it with the $1 coupon from the 1/30 RP1 insert. You’ll pay .99!
Purina Beneful 31.1lb. dog food is on sale for $24.99 a bag. The 1/16 SS has a $2 coupon which will drop this to $22.99. But in Thursday’s Jewel ad, there’s a $4 manufacturer coupon for a 15.5lb. or larger bag of Beneful! Target is sometimes “iffy” about taking a manufacturer coupon with another store’s logo on it, but it IS a manufacturer coupon nonetheless. If yours accepts, you’ll pay $20.99 for the 31.1lb. bag, a good price for this.
Deals continuing from previous weeks:
Here’s a little deal on Jet Dry dishwasher rinse agent. Jet Dry sells at Target for $2.59 a bottle. Print this $1.50 Target store coupon and stack it with this .75 manufacturer coupon. You’ll pay .34 a bottle!
There’s also a .40 manufacturer coupon in the 1/9 SS1 insert that will net you more bottles for .69 each after the stack.
UPDATE: Last week some readers reported stores not allowing them to use this coupon on the small bottle under the incorrect assumption that it is a “trial size.” The 4.22 ounce size is right on the shelf next to the two other, larger sizes. If your Target actually argues that they consider the small bottle to be a “trial size,” ask why it is not in the trial-sized bins with the rest of the $1 and $1.50 trial-size items…
Photo taken on 1/28/11 at the Rt. 59 Hoffman Estates Target.
Quaker Easy Express oatmeal cups are .97 each at most Target stores. Use the $1 coupon from February All You and it’s FREE!
In the “Dollar Spot” at the front of the store, Target currently has plastic coupon wallets and letter-size accordion files for $1! I like to buy a few coupon wallets, as they’re cheap, and when they wear out… you’ve got another one on hand, ready to move into :)
Target Notes:
Target has launched mobile Target coupons which you can load to your phone. They are Target store coupons that you can stack manufacturer coupons with. Load coupons here. You can also print these offers by going to www.target.com/save and entering your phone number.
Remember too that you get .05 off your total at Target for each reusable bag you bring and use. If you pay with the Target credit card, you receive another 5% off.
SuperTarget meat deals:
- 80% lean ground beef is $1.99/lb.
SuperTarget produce deals:
- Jumbo avocados are .99 each.

If you like Pepsi and Diet Pepsi, you may like this deal (similar to the Target deal above.) Pepsi product 12-packs on sale for $3.32 each. In this week’s Walgreens ad, there is a store coupon for “Buy 3 Pepsi 12-packs, get 1 12-pack Diet Pepsi FREE.) Now you’re at $9.96 for 4, or $2.49 each. As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
And, also, as always, a huge thanks to the many readers who posted and emailed deals that made it into today’s Deals of the Week! We’re all in this together, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who spots and passes along good deals that we can all enjoy :) Thank you… to YOU!
* (All You magazine is not a requirement for using the site, but if you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s a cheap ($2.49 an issue) magazine that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically $50-$100 worth per issue! You can subscribe to All You online and save about $10/year off the cover price. And depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

I have been “doing” this deal for a week or so now…but I also wanted to mention that you can get a free teddy bear for every three cards that you purchase as well. The Crystal Lake Dominick’s had many of the teddy bears in stock as of Friday, but the Lake in the Hills had none. The teddy bears have a little heart shaped tag on their ear that says they are free with the purchase of any 3 Hallmark cards (excludes .99 cards). I rang two transactions out in a row at the CL Dom self checkout and after ringing up all three cards and then the teddy bear, the $ amount of the bear comes right off the total without any problems (or the cashier even knowing so you shouldn’t get any evil looks)! They do NOT have to be Valentine’s Day cards, so I’ve been stocking up on all sorts of cards…fantastic! I am holding onto my bears and starting a box for holiday charity baskets :0) Thanks again Jill for all that you do for us!!

Hi Jill,
So happy to see the early post. Thanks so much! : )
I cut all my Target coupons from the 12/5SS, but noticed that the TGIFridays need to be 22.3 oz or larger to get $5/2. Are there specific sizes on sale that we can still use the coupon for? (Crossing my fingers!)
dannyboy224 says
not,lol
mjohnson1981 says
Hi Jill,
The target coupon for the TGIF appetizers is for the 22.3 oz sizes or larger.
Whatadeal says
Thanks so much Jill for getting your deals up early this week. I was scoping out of state Targets last week for coupon wallets and found none. I’m glad to see your post that I may still have a chance to find some this week:) What a help you are to me and my family. You rock!!

When I clicked on the link to print the $1.00 coupon, it actually printed a coupon for $1/2 packages. Still a good deal, but…why didn’t I get the better coupon?
CollegeCouponer says
do the Butterfinger Snackerz deal at Walgreens? I wondered if you had heard about it.
mjme.mom says
The coupons from the Kraft website that I printed are for $1/2. Are some people getting $1/1? How does that happen? Don’t get me wrong, I’m still gonna snatch it up for $.88 a bag but I’m just curious…
momof4 says
If your a mountain dew drinker..the target deal gets better there is a $1/2 on the website…print 2 stack with the q from the doms book and you are at $6 for 4 12 packs
momof4 says
they have b2get free salsa..they are on sale for $2.50…use 2 $.55 from 1/30 insert for the chips there is also a $.55 q for salsa (the oswego store accepted this but may depend on your cashier)there is also a target q for $1 off the dip when you purchase 2 tostitos…so if your store allows the stack and man q for the salsa you are looking at a grand total of $2.35…I also had a q for free 2L of pepsi when you purchase a tostitos and dip not sure where I found it I believe it was doms…so 2 bags of chips, a jar of salsa and 2 liter of pepsi for $2.35 will come in handy for super bowl..
If you shop walgreens they also have tostitos on sale for $1.97 and the dip for $2.50 not nearly as good of a price but if you need them

I know the razors go cheaper but there are bonus packs that are on sale for $9.99 and part of the RR. There are two. One has a travel size bottle of fusion shave get, after shave lotion and something else. The other one has the same thing but a different brand. I cant think of it off the top of my head. So if you are in need I would look for those.

Jill, Target website said I had printed my limit…didn’t even get to print the jet dry deal. So, it may have printed it’s limit.

If you did the Butterball coupon “rebate” around Thanksgiving time, you should have received 4 $1 off ANY Butterball product. I went to Jewel yesterday, bought 4 Butterball Turkey bacon packages, used 4 $1/1 coupons and paid $1.50 per package. Not bad for Turkey bacon.

Ultra Ad had 4/$5 so price match at Target for much cheaper with the Target and Manuf Coupon.

Question: For the Tide detergent on Just for You there is a limit of two. I bought one last week. Can I buy the other one this week? or do they both have to be purchased at the same time? Anyone know?

The coupon from the Polaner site is for sugar free. My Jewel did not have the sugar free on the sale size. Does anyone know if other Jewels carry the sugar free on the sale size? Thanks! The fruit spread will go great with all of the Skippy I just bought! =)
HappyMom88 says
Jill,
All 4 of my delivered papers had $.50/2 q instead of $1/2. Was this a misprint or did you get a better deal?

went to Crystal Lake store which tends to have the largest selection of items vs. other local Jewels…didn’t even see a space for the Ponzu sauce. Could this be one of the items Jewel elected to do without?
This is a good product and I like Kekkoman soy as well (hope reduced sodium still triggers Cat). I use it for making marinades.

Arlington heights dominick’s first said I could NOT use the $1.00 off Skippy from the football book in combination with the Super coupon loaded to my card. The super coupon made it $1.49 and the $1.00 off was more than half the total price. I said I was unaware, because I was! and the supervisor said to put it through this time. Did I completely miss this rule in the updates? ugh!

Some CVS stores do take expired manufacturer coupons, up to 1 month expired. That is what an employee at one of the Joliet (Essington and Caton Farm) stores told me. And since then I have used them with no problem. He did tell me that some stores are pickier with coupons, and specifically mentioned the store at 6 corners (Raynor/Rt 30). I think another one that also takes expired ones is the one at Caton Farm and Drauden in Joliet as well.

For the kikkoman, why not print 2 x $1 off and 2 X BOGO, then buy 4 of the soy sauce, which will come to $1.58, and get the $2.50 cat. That is a great money maker, and you don’t have to worry about finding the Ponzu sauce. I’ll try it tomorrow, I actually need soy sauce!

Hello,
I wanted everyone to know if you are going to Meijer for the bonus 70 Box tops for the Juicy Juice. For every 10 seperate purchases you will be able to collect the 70 Box tops. The customer service desk was so kind to reverse my purchase with coupons and re ring the seperate 10 for my additional 70 Box top print out. So I left the store with 140 Box tops free.

I’ve been supercouponing for almost 18 months now. Jewel: Purchase 2 Kikkomann Soy Sauces.
Today I had a manager (who is normally wonderful), explain to me that I could not use a BOGO free coupon and a $1off coupon. 2 items, 2 coupons. He was was nice about it, but was completely convinced that I needed to purchase 3 items to use the 2 coupons. I know fully well that I am right – question: Is there someone that I can contact at Jewel to set him straight? (Manager: Peter, Location: Sugar Grove). He is a great guy, but dead wrong on this issue. Correct?:)

Both myself and another cust. next to me…cat did not print at Jewel for the Kikkoman. Anyone know why? The CS desk gave us the number for CATALINA. Haven’t called yet.
HappyMom88 says
You wrote in the CAT….Purchase two (2) Kikkoman Marinades, Receive $1.50 OYNO
Purchase three (3) Kikkoman Marinades, Receive $2 OYNO
valid 1/14/11 – 2/6/11
However, above you posted in Jewel as Kikkoman Soy Sauces in the CAT. Marinades are not on sale…only soy sauce…soy sauce not in CAT.

If, like me, you have been unable to locate Olay travel size bars of soap at Target, I found a pretty good alternative. I bought an Olay 2-pack for 2.49, minus the 2.00 coupon, plus received the FREE Secret deoderant. I figure a quarter for a bar of soap is pretty good!

Jewel’s pharmacy coupon book (Living Healthy with Diabetes) has a $2 coupon for Blink eye drops. Great to use at Wags this week!

Went to Jewel. Slim Fast 6 can boxes regularly $7.69 without card, $4.99 with card. $1.00 off manufacturer’s coupon tear offs at end cap displays brings the total to $3.99 for 6 cans. Much better deal than the sale at Walgreens.

Jill and other I work at Dominicks and the Just 4 you specials like the tide this week its a one time thing if you get the one then thats it just like the coupons on there one time deal. and that pizza we had for 1.99 it was unlimited so I just thought I let you guys know.

Watch your coupons if you use the USCAN. I purchase 2 packages of sausage, one steak and two milk containers. The coupon for the milk came off. One package of sausage reduced to 2.49 but nothing for the other sausage or the meat. On the receipt it does show that the coupons were scanned (2@.00 and then another meat coupon). It feels like Target all over again. The steak and I will be making a trip to Dominicks this morning.

Did anyone else recieve the Lowe’s Vocalpoint mailer? There are 6 sets of really nice coupons, but they are kind of confusing. The front says that they are mq’s, but the back says they are only redeemable at Lowe’s, so does that make them sq’s?

Is jewel doing their freeezer deal this year on superbowl sunday?

I printed 4 & didn’t even try cause they weren’t sugar free on sale. The jars that ARE on sale are not sweetened, so they have no sugar added… It was too crowded for me to try it cause I would have been embarrassed if there was a line behind me and she questioned it…

I really thought I read about a TGI Fridays frozen snacks deal on here. Something about buy 4 get 1 free and using store coupons from an insert to make them all free. Am I dreaming? When I used the search function, I can see it mentioned in the little snippit description on this weeks deals but now on the full post, I can’t find it. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

Last week at the Target in DeKalb I was in line behind a woman that was trying to purchase 2 Reese’s with 2 coupons (store and man) to get 2 free. I was also about to do the same deal when the cashier said we are not allowed to use 2 B1G1 Free Coupons on only 2 products because we needed to purchase 1. I jumped in to the conversation after a couple minutes and tried to tell him we are purchasing 2. He is scanning the items and putting them in our bag, purchasing. His response to that was “buy” or “pay for the item”.
The manager came over and agreed with what the cashier was saying. As the woman in front of me argued with the manager and cashier, I looked up Target’s coupon policy on my Blackberry. I did not see anything written about the B1G1 items. Are you aware of a policy written that explains this? I would really like to go back and show them.

Quick Question: I have three Manufacturer’s Coupons, that were received from a Catalina machine at the Walgreens and are for varying amount off my next purchase (they came from different manufacturers).
Do I have to use these Manufacturers Coupons for money off back at the Walgreens, or can I use these Catalina’s at other stores too (ie: Dominicks)?
