Note that you cannot use the coupon on two items that total less than $2.50. The two items must exceed $2.50. But, here are some good candidates. All prices were gathered at the Huntley Jewel:

Here are some ideas:

One roll of EE paper towels ($1) and one EE 64-ounce bleach ($1.69) – total, $2.69. After coupon, just .19!

  6. Hi Jill and Fellow Couponers!

    Do you know if it’s okay to do the awesome “$2.50 off Any Two Essential Everyday Household Cleaning Products” deal more than once? I used my Preferred Card to get the sale price on the 2 products, so does that mean it won’t come off another time using my Preferred Card?

    (Just as an aside, I don’t think the auto scanning problem with this coupon is fixed. My checker had to manually enter the coupon when I did it. No matter, it’s still a great deal!)

  7. the Shaw’s near me which is part of ($whatever the corporation thay Cerberus now owns thatused to be SuperValu) is also running the 77 cent A&W sale. They also told me tonight that they are accepting the 75 cent expired coupon on the A&W/etc Ten products from the Dr. Pepper insert until 4/7, because the chain did not get the new product until this week.

    Obviously, one must check. But if so, that’s 2 cent soda.

    (it’s better than that for me; most of the stores around here double coupons, because all the other stores do, and if you stop the merry go round you’ll just sink faster. and Shaw’s allows for overage)

  8. My Jewel in Aurora has the Edy’s outshine on sale for $1.50 with preferred card!

  9. I tried to use 2 $.75 coupons to buy 2 products at the Oak Forest Jewel on Sunday. The cashier refused them since they weren’t a “spice”, I asked her to scan them and she refused. I asked for a manager who said the same thing and refused to even scan them to see if they would work. I took the ad to Walmart, who had a better selection, price matched them, used the coupon with no problems.

  10. the orland jewel has a special sale because of the mariano’s grand opening in frankfort. the all free and clear is only $1.99 there so its a money maker. they were out of it today when i was there. maybe the frankfort jewel has the same price too?

  11. I couldnt find any chips ahoy go packs at my Jewels in Munster, In i looked all over. anyone know where they would be at other than the cookie isle
