Sure would have been nice if the Bounty and Charmin had been priced at $10 instead of $9.99, wouldn’t it? The easiest way to do this if you want to do a paper-products deal is to get two Bounty or Charmin, plus one single roll of Bounty, which is usually $1-$1.29 at Meijer.

For this example, I’ll assume the single roll is $1.29. With that plus two large packs of Charmin or Bounty, you’ll be at $21.27 Use two .25 Bounty coupons (now $20.77.) Pay $20.77 and get $4 back. That drops you to $16.77 for two big packs, or about $8.39 each. For Bounty, that works out to about $1.05 per roll. For Charmin, that works out to about .40 per double roll, a good price.

Holy cow, it’s been a long time since we saw Walgreens Rebates. (For the coupon semi-newbies, Walgreens used to have a series of month-long mail-in rebate offers that allowed you to get lots of freebies and cheapies each month. You could get the rebate as a check, or as a Walgreens gift card — and if you got the gift card, they added a 10% rebate bonus.)

From July 1-July 31, AARP members spending $10 or more on Walgreens brand products will receive $3 in Register Rewards when they show their AARP card.

CVS is advertising Pampers Super Pack boxes of diapers (ad shows 96ct. Size 4s and 80ct. Size 4 Cruisers) on sale for $24.49. Buy one and get $3 back in Extra-Care Bucks! Use the $3 coupon from the 7/1 PG (expires 7/31!) Pay $21.49 and get $3 back. That drops it to $18.49 for the big box. For the 96ct. Size 4s, that works out to about .19 per diaper.

Also, the ad is showing Olympic themed boxes with $25 or $30 worth of free P&G coupons inside – make sure to grab one with these inside! (Check your boxes too — sadly, when they do these, some people open the boxes and steal the coupons in the store. I get the occasional emails from readers saying they got them home, then realized the box had been re-taped. :(

CVS has a new Suave offer running – Spend $12 on selected Suave products and get $4 back in ECBs. We have new Suave coupons in the 7/29 RP1, some better than others. (Really, Suave… 25 off lotion? Sheesh!)

The best item to go with here is the Suave Deodorant. The 1.4oz. antiperspirant solids are on sale for $1, and the 7/29 RP1 has a .75 coupon. The coupon is limited to TWO per transaction. But, CVS offers can be split among multiple transactions. To do this deal in the best possible way, you’ll need a crazy number of coupons, a store with nobody waiting behind you, and a cashier with the patience of Job :)

If by chance you got TWELVE papers this week, you could do six transactions like this:
Buy 2 Suave deodorant ($2)
Use two .75 coupons
Pay .50.

On the sixth transaction, you will have paid out $3, and you’ll get $4 back – all free and a moneymaker!

Since it’s highly unlikely most of us will have 12 of these coupons, here’s another way to do the deal. Here’s a .75 body wash printable. If you have access to two computers, print four and do a two-transaction deal like this:

Buy four Suave body washes ($8) and two deodorants (now $10.)
Use four .75 printables and two .75 deodorant coupons (now $5.50)

Pay $5.50. Next transaction…

I say “try” because I haven’t been out to do the deal yet, and the last time we saw a deal like this, the P&G B1G1F coupons were coded to ring off BOTH items. If they are coded this way, the register will not accept the $3-off-2s on top of the B1G1F. You’re better off with the B1G1F coupons versus these, but you can try. For cereal, buy 8 boxes ($16.) With eight .70 coupons, pay $10.40 and get $5 back. That’s $5.40 for eight, or about .68 each!

To do an all-Pop-Tart deal, buy 8 boxes ($16.) Use two $1-off-3s (now $14.) Pay $14 and get $5 back. That’s $9 for 8, or about $1.13 each. OR, buy 9 boxes and use three $1-off-3s (now $15.) Pay $15 and get $5 back. That’s $10 for 9, or about $1.11 each — just depends how many tarts you want, and how many are in stock..!

Walmart’s new ad is showing the Value Pack of Parents Choice diapers (ad shows size 3, 144-count) on sale for $19.77. For the size 3s, this works out to about .14 per diaper, a good price.

Just when I got used to the idea of Giant Box diapers being bigger than Big Box diapers, Walmart’s new ad is featuring Huge Box Pampers! Crazy. Anyway, the Huge Box Pampers is on rollback for $34.94 (the ad shows size 3 Baby-Dry with 174ct.) Use the $3 coupon from the 7/1 PG (expires 7/31!) and pay $31.94. For the size 3s, this works out to about .18 per diaper.

Some stores carry travel-size Adidas deodorant for .99 (look for the trial/travel size display.) Use the $2 deodorant coupon from the 6/10 RP and pay… nothing! It’s FREE (and this being Walmart, you’ll get coupon overage too!) The insert coupon is good through August 31st, so that’s a nice long time to find this, as some stores don’t appear to have it in yet.
