Hilland Folding Camp Chairs (those canvas kind with the armrests and legs that fold up into a vertical bag) are $7.49 each. (Wal-Mart and Meijer’s ads both have these for $9.88 each this week, so this is a better price if you’re looking for these. Walgreens has them just a bit cheaper this week at $6.99, but theirs don’t have armrests for that price.)
Jewel-Osco information:

(Anytime meat is under $2 a pound (no matter what it is — beef, pork, poultry) it’s a buy in my book, because $2 is a cycle low and a good benchmark for meat prices — ditto for most produce. Seafood, by its nature, is more expensive per pound, but a good “buy” benchmark is $4 per pound or less.)
Let’s go to Dominick’s (View weekly ad)…
Note to Safeway shoppers reading from outside Chicagoland: In Chicago, Dominick’s does not double coupons (as other Safeway stores do) – if your store doubles, you’ll do even better with many of these deals. Also, in Chicago, support for previously-available ecoupons (Cellfire, ShortCuts and PGEsaver) have been discontinued. Ecoupons are now available in the “Just For U / Coupon Center” section of electronic coupons available at Dominicks.com.
Dominick’s Super Coupons:
These are store coupons found in the weekly Dominick’s flyer, which (in the case of the name-brand products) means they can be stacked with manufacturer coupons for even bigger savings. You can also load some of these Super Coupons to your Fresh Values card via Dominicks.com and not have to clip them. Best bets this week?
In the June 23-June 29 flyer – “Get New Deals Every Week” on cover:
- Mom To Mom boxed diapers are $13.99 each, limit 4, with Super Coupon.
In the June 26-July 2 flyer – “Get A Head Start” on cover:
- Town House Crackers are $1.99 each, limit 4, with Super Coupon. Buy two and use this $1-off-2 printable. You’ll pay $2.98 for two, or $1.49 a box.
- Nature’s Bounty Herbals and Supplements are $5 a bottle, limit 4, with Super Coupon. Use the $1 coupon from 6/5 RP and pay $4.
- Breyer’s Ice Cream, Popsicles, Klondike Bars, Magnum Bars, Ben & Jerry’s or Starbucks Pints are all $2.49 with Super Coupon. Use the $1 Magnum coupon from 5/22 RP or a printable and pay $1.49! Or, use the $1-off-2 Breyers in the home-mailed version of the Jewel Summertime Fun coupon book (blue cover) and pay $1.99 per carton for the Breyer’s…
Creamette Pasta is on sale for .99. The 6/19 SS has a .50 coupon. You’ll pay .49 per box!
Sunny Delight (64oz.) is on sale for .99 a bottle. Use the .25 coupon from 5/15 SS and pay .74!
MONDAY ONLY! Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Crackers are on sale Buy Two, Get Two Free. The regular price of the Goldfish is $2.39. Print this .55 off 2 printable. With one coupons, buy four bags for $4.23, or about $1.06 per bag.
Or, look for .75 peelies on the graham cracker varieties of Goldfish. With two peelies (on the two bags you’re paying for – again, Dominick’s doesn’t allow coupons to be used on the free bags) pay $3.28 for 4, or .82 a bag!
UPDATE: Printable has hit its limit (that went fast!)
If you have any free 12-pack of Coca-Cola coupons from Coke Rewards, this might be a good week to use them. Dominick’s has Coca-Cola 12-packs on sale Buy 2, Get 3 FREE.
Note that during this sale, Doms tends to jack the price up on their 12-packs (a ridiculous $5.99 each) and the Coke Rewards coupons are usually good up to $4.99. With 2 coupons, expect to pay that $1 difference between the Coke’s price and the coupon. Still, $2 for 5 12-packs isn’t bad!
Dominick’s is running a “Buy 4, Save $4” sale on a variety of cereals. From the ad, it’s mostly Kellogg’s cereals and Pop-Tarts that are on sale, though some Quaker and General Mills cereals are included as well. Due to schedule issues I was not able to go price-gathering at the store (Dominick’s, WHY don’t you put prices in the ad when you run these sales?) but I do have prices on the Kellogg’s from last week, which I’ll put here:
Kellogg’s cereals – Selected varieties are $2.49
– .70 off Corn Pops – printable
– .70 off Raisin Bran – printable
– $1 off 2 Rice Krispies or Cocoa Krispies – printable
– $1 off 2 Frosted Flakes – printable
– $1 off 2 Corn Flakes – printable
– $1 off 3 – 6/5 RP
Kellogg’s 8ct. Pop-Tarts: $2
– $1 off 3 – 5/15 RP
Check your Just For U ecoupons at Dominicks.com too for possible lower sale prices on these – I’ve got Pop-Tarts for $1.90 a box (a whopping .10 savings, but hey.)
Note that some boxes are marked for the Kellogg’s concession cash and the gas cash promotion. Enter 4 codes and get $5 off concessions or gas (it’s a debit card that you receive.)
AND: Remember that the “Buy 10 Selected Kellogg’s, get $10 Debit Card” mail-in rebate is still in effect! You can send in for up to 5 rebates ($50) per household throughout this promotion, which runs through 12/31/11.
The cereals that qualify for the rebate are:
Kellogg’s All-Bran®
Kellogg’s Smart Start®
Kellogg’s Corn Flakes®
Kellogg’s Raisin Bran®
Kellogg’s Raisin Bran®
Kellogg’s Crispix®
Kellogg’s Product 19®
Kellogg’s Mueslix®
Kellogg’s® Cracklin’ Oat Bran
Kellogg’s® Lowfat Granola with Raisins
Kellogg’s® Fruit Harvest Strawberry/Blueberry
Kellogg’s Rice Krispies® cereal
10 oz or larger, mix or match
This sale runs through 7/6. I will try to get the rest of the prices for this deal later this week if possible.

16oz. boxes of Meijer French Toast Sticks are $2.50
Giant 36 double-roll packages of Angel Soft Bath Tissue are $14.99. This works out to .42 per double roll. (My rule of thumb for toilet paper is .25 per roll, but that’s for a “regular” roll. For a double roll, .50 is good, so this is a little less than that if you need TP.)
Beach towels are $6.99 each.
Cosco Umbrella Strollers are $10.99 each.
Are you a Meijer Mperks member? Mperks is a different set of electronic Meijer coupons. They’re attached to your cellphone number, but aside from one text message to activate your account, you do not need to use text messaging to continually use them. Once you register with Meijer Mperks, you log into the Mperks website and click the electronic coupons you’d like to load to your account. Then, when you’re at the checkout, type your cellphone number into the keypad at the register, and your coupons come off automatically.

Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. most of Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes.
AND, if you shop at the Illinois NILES or ORLAND Meijer locations, they typically haven’t been following the same sale flyer as the other Illinois Meijers.

Here’s a pretty good deal on Bounty Paper Towels and other Bounty products. 8 Giant Roll (equals 12 regular rolls) packs of Bounty are on sale for $10.49. Buy one and get a free 50-count Bounty Napkins (in a cute dispenser that looks like a picnic basket.) Let’s add coupons…
The 6/26 RP and 4/10 RP have Target store coupons for $1 off Bounty Paper Towels. The 5/1 TARGET insert has a “Buy Bounty Paper Towels, Get FREE single roll Bounty Extra Soft Paper Towel.” The same 5/1 TARGET insert also has a “Buy Bounty Paper Towels, get FREE 19-24oz. Dawn dish detergent” coupon. Decide which of these you’d rather have, and work that coupon into the mix too. Then, use a manufacturer coupon. The 6/5 PG has a .25 off Bounty paper towels and a $1 off Bounty napkins. And, the 2011 P&G Everyday Savings book has a $1 Bounty paper towels coupon.
Whew! Let’s put the deal together.
Buy 1 Bounty 8-pack and 1 Bounty 50ct. Napkins dispenser. Buy 1 Bounty single roll Extra Soft paper towel OR 1 Dawn 19-24oz. detergent. Use the coupon for the FREE single roll or Dawn (balance is still $10.49.) Use a $1 Target store coupon for the paper towels and either the .25 or $1 manufacturer coupon for the paper towels.
With the .25 coupon, you’ll pay $9.24 for everything. With the $1 coupon, you’ll pay $8.49 for all! Some Target stores may allow the $1 manufacturer coupon for Bounty Napkins to be used here too (with the new policy, it’s tough to tell what they’ll do.) If they accept this, you’ll pay $7.49 for all – a very, very good price for everything here.
If you are doing the deal twice in the same transaction, there’s a “Buy 2 Bounty, get $5 Target Gift Card” coupon in the 6/5 RP! Work that in to save an additional $5 on both.
Here’s a deal on Ritz Crackers and Newtons Fruit Thins. You’ll get a FREE box of Newtons Fruit Thins when you buy any 3 Nabisco cracker or cookies. Many Ritz crackers are on sale for $2.50, including Ritz Crackerfuls. Target’s site has a $1 store coupon printable. Stack this with the $1 or $1.50 coupon for Ritz Crackerfuls from 4/17 SS. (If you don’t have the insert coupons, there’s a .75 printable on Facebook.)
Buy three Ritz Crackerfuls and one Newtons Fruit Thins ($7.50.)
With three $1.50 coupons and one $1 store coupon, pay $2 for FOUR boxes of crackers, or .50 each!
Luvs Big Box Diapers are $16.99 each. Use the $1 manufacturer coupon from 5/1 PG or the 2011 P&G Everyday Savings book and stack it with the $2 Target coupon from 6/26 RP. You’ll pay $13.99 for the big box, a good price!
Target is running a deal on Edy’s and Haagen Dazs. Buy any 5 and receive a $5 gift card. The 6ct. Edy’s Fruit Bars, 1.5qt. Edy’s Ice Cream and 14oz. Haagen-Dasz are $2.99 each, so if you buy 5, you’ll knock $1 off the price of each when you get the gift card back.
FREEZER DEAL: Target has a 3.5 cubic foot Emerson Chest Freezer on sale for $129. (While this is not as good a deal as the ones Jewel, Ultra Foods and Strack and Van Til run around February/March each year [a 5.2 cubic foot for $150-$160 with coupons for FREE food] I thought I’d post it anyway as some of you may not want to wait that long for a freezer… or might appreciate a smaller freezer if you’re space-challenged…
“No Coupon Needed” Deals:
Sobe Lifewater, Lean Tea or Pure are on sale for $1 each. Buy 10 and get a $5 Target gift card that will knock these to .50 each.
Doritos (11.5oz.) are on sale for $2 per bag.
SuperTarget meat deals:
- Hormel Always Tender St. Louis Style Ribs are $1.99 per pound, limit 6, no rainchecks. Use the $1 off any Hormel Always Tender from 5/8 SS and drop this already-great price even more!
SuperTarget produce deals:
- 1lb. packages of strawberries are $1.79/lb.
- Ears of sweet corn are .20 each
Target Notes:
Target has launched mobile Target coupons which you can load to your phone. They are Target store coupons that you can stack manufacturer coupons with. Load coupons here. You can also print these offers by going to www.target.com/save and entering your phone number.
Remember too that you get .05 off your total at Target for each reusable bag you bring and use. If you pay with the Target credit card, you receive another 5% off.

And finally, over at CVS (View weekly ad)…
Rephresh Brilliant Tampons (18ct.) are on sale for $6.79. Buy one and get $6.79 back in Extra Care Bucks, making these FREE! Use this $1 printable to make this a moneymaker.
Nabisco 8oz. Crackers and Cookies (Ritz, Oreo, Lorna Doone, etc) are on sale for .99. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 coupon from the 6/19 SS. You’ll pay .99 for 2, or about .50 each!
Wisk Laundry Detergent is a good buy this week. 26-32-load bottles are on sale for $8.49 each, Buy One Get One Free. If you got two papers this week, use two $2 Wisk coupons from the 6/26 RP. Pay $4.49 for two, or about $2.25 a bottle!
Or, go for a cheaper detergent deal… Xtra Laundry Detergent (28 loads) is on sale for $1.49. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 coupon from 5/1 SS1. Pay $1.98 for two, or .99 per bottle!
A similar deal to the Dove Men + Care bar soap sale that’s going on at Wags is happening at CVS this week, though it’s not totally free at CVS… Spend $15 on selected Dove products and get $5 back in Extra Care Bucks! I will note here that I did not make it to CVS this weekend to check this out, but two readers have written to say that they did this deal on the 6-packs of Men + Care soap. Buy three 6-packs ($21) and use three $4 coupons (now $9.) Pay $9 and get $5 back… $4 for three 6-packs is about $1.34 per 6-pack.
Deals continuing from previous weeks:
15ct. Just The Basics 13-gallon tall kitchen trash bags are $1.

CVS is again running a gas card promotion that will run for the next few weeks. Spend $30 on selected items in the ad and get a $10 gas card. You do NOT have to purchase all $30 in the same shopping trip, but you DO have to purchase $30 worth in this particular calendar week — it will not carry over to next week. Your CVS Extra Care Card will track the $30 for you.
CVS Tip: Remember to always scan your CVS card at the Coupon Center scanner in the store — it prints bonus coupons for you!

Wrapping things up with Walmart…
LAST WEEK! FREE Gain Dishwashing Liquid: The P&G $110 Everyday Savings coupon mailer contains a coupon for $1 off Gain Dishwashing Liquid. Walmart sells Gain for .97 (exp. 6/30/11)
Policies to know:
- Walmart will price match any competitor’s advertised price. Bring the other store’s flyers with you to the store.
- With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept other store’s STORE coupons with an actual price listed on them. For example, a Dominick’s store coupon advertising “.99 Ragu Pasta Sauce” would be accepted. A Walgreens store coupon advertising “2/$1 Morton’s Salt” would be accepted. (A Target store coupon for “$2.50 off Huggies” would not, because it does not show the actual selling price of the item.)
- With the new coupon policy, Walmart will also accept competitor’s Catalina manufacturer coupons. You can get a Catalina for $1 off Snuggle and use it at Walmart.
- Walmart’s new coupon policy specifically addresses coupon overage. It says “Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.” I have heard from one reader who used a $3 Register Reward on a $2.49 copy of All You magazine and DID receive change, in cash.
I would print a copy and carry a copy of the coupon policy with you if you anticipate any issues.
Will I blog Walmart in its entirety each week?
I will not be blogging entire writeups for Walmart each week. Every store location’s regular prices are different, and Walmart does not issue a weekly ad every week. I’ve listed Walmart at the end of each week’s Deals writeup, because if you see any deals above that you want, you’ll likely also be able to do them at Walmart.
However, if there IS an ad with noteworthy sales or I’m aware of great coupon matchups, you’ll find those here too.

As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
And, also, as always, a huge thanks to the many readers who posted and emailed deals that made it into today’s Deals of the Week! We’re all in this together, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who spots and passes along good deals that we can all enjoy :) Thank you… to YOU!
* All You magazine: If you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s an inexpensive magazine ($2.49 an issue) that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically $50-$100 worth per issue! Subscribing via the pink banner on the right drops the price to $1.67 per issue. Depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

The Meijer in Highland, IN has it on price drop through the beginning of July (I think July 10) for $.99. Use the coupon to get it for $.24. They had free samples and coupons last Friday. Of course, the dip was gone except for what they had for sampling! I don’t know if it’s on pric drop everywhere, but it’s worth checking out if your at Meijer anyway.

FYI – Along with the $1/2 Q’s (6/12 SS) Jill mentions for Chi-Chi’s Salsa at Meijers, there are ALSO $.50/1 Q’s in the 05/15 SS (Exp 7/31/11). In CouponTom, you need to search Chi Chi (without the hyphen) and you will find it listed there.

Need further explanation on what a “5/1 Target Insert” is that Jill refers to in the Target section. Is this like a P&G insert or an SS insert, and I’m just missing the Target one? TY in advance.
rintjm says
I am wondering why jill didn’t work the “buy 2 get $5 gc” from 6-5 RP. It’s a Target coupon and if you buy two of those big bounty packs, you get a $5 target GC. Seems like a good idea if you want tons of paper towels, or does it make you unable to use some of the other coupons?

Wal-Mart has 2 packs of 16 lb bags (32 lbs) on sale for $7.50. Take the coupon for $1/1 Kingsford from Jewel over and pay $6.50 for two bags or only $3.25 a piece…this is the best I have seen this summer so far.

However, I already had two cats for free milk and I purchased two gallons of milk used both cats (I asked the cashier if I could use both and he allowed it). I was able to still get the free milk coupon from the Activia purchase ($4 off) and used my two free milks cats. But now I wish I had saved one of the cats for another day.

on how to even do the Bounty deal at Target. There are so many coupons available between Target coupons and manufacturer. Will they accept the 4/10 RP TQs and the $5 GC TQ at the same time? (Since, essentially they are off the same item?)
aiden1027 says
HI, I did the Carefree pantiliner deal that Jill suggested, and indeed got these free. Thanks Jill. I bought the 2 packages of pantiliners, then had the two .50 cent off coupons, then the $3/2 in the July monthly book.
Initially the register wouldn’t take all 3 coupons, and the manager had to come over and do some magic and finally I got these free.
My question: Was I supposed to have bought a “filler” item for this deal? In other words, I bought 2 items, but used 3 coupons (2 manufacturer coupons and 1 Walgreens coupon from the July monthly book).
Was that the problem why my coupons didn’t initially go through the register?
Thanks.

Totally bombed with the bounty deal at Target. Wasn’t allowed to use any of the FREE coupons (single roll PT or Dawn); wasn’t allowed to use the Target Q on the multipack; wasn’t allowed to use the manufacturer Q on the napkins.

Not sure if it is worth it…may return.

When the Jewel Dannon deal says “free milk instantly” does that mean I have to have the gallon of milk in the same transaction? Or is it a catalina that I get for my next shopping trip like most deals are?
Also, if anybody is heading to the Taste of Chicago this week, make sure to stop by the Dominick’s Cooking Corner because they were handing out recipe books that had a few Dominick’s store coupons in them. They were:

Hi,
While at Dominick’s today, spoke with customer service. She told me that Dominicks doesn’t accept coupons that are over the value of the savings. For instance, if something was on sale for .99, and I had a 1.00 off coupon, she said the coupon “just wouldn’t work”. When I told her that I thought that the cashiers were to just adjust down the price to whatever the item was, she vehemently denied this and insisted that the coupon would just not work. This isn’t correct, right? I’m a newbie at all of this!

Meijer has a deal right now, but $10 or more of Glad, KC Masterpiece, or Hidden Valley, receive $3 OYNO. There is a mealbox coupon for $1/2 KC MP, $1/2 HV, and $1/2 Glad products. Combine these with various man Q ($1/1 KC (5/15 SS), $1/2 Glad (5/22 SS))for some great deals. If you don’t have multiple inserts, there was a $3 off $10 on KC, HVR, or Kingsford man Q in the Berkots sale flyer. I did 2 transactions
bought 4 rolls Glad wrap becaue we really need it-2.59 each (10.36)
used 2 man Q and 2 MB Q (-4.00)
total 6.36 and got $3 OYNO
bought 7 KC MP (10.50)
Berkots man Q since I used my KC Qs last week (-3.00)
used 3 MB Qs (-3.00)
total 4.50 and got $3 OYNO
I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Then I used the following coupons 2 $2 OM deli meats, 1 $1 Ritz, 1 $1 Kraft Mayo bringing it down to $15.42 (before tax) and I got the $4 OM Catalina coupon :-) to use on another purchase!!

Went to the Sycamore Jewel last Friday to do the Coke deal along with other coupons. Got to the register with all my items and coupons in hand, all was going well until the cashier refused to take my $2.00 off 2 bags of hershey bites along with my buy 2 get 1 free hershey bite coupons. I followed the coupon requirements to the letter. She then tried to tell me that I couldn’t use 2 man q’s on the same item. I tried to explain to her that I wasn’t double dipping. She absolutely refused to take them. So being the snot that I can be, I simply told her to take them off my order, I’d go elsewhere to buy them. She did. Then we got to the Coke coupons $2/2 12 pks and the Q for the free 8 pk. She didn’t want to take the 8 pk freebie off. By this time I was livid and maybe a little intimidating, so she over rode those Q’s.
Went back there yesterday with my Mom and got a different cashier and got the same response to “my/her” coupons. I don’t get it??? I was clearly within the rules of these coupons and ad quantities, why such a hassle???? Are they looking to be the next Dominicks?

I sent my husband with four $1.00 off one four pack of Activia. He bought four four-packs for $4.00 and got a gallon of Dean’s milk for free. He used a $1.50 off any 1.5 quart Dean’s Ice Cream AND one gallon of Dean’s Milk. Jewel is running a 2/$7 deal on the Dean’s Ice Cream. So, he bought the four Activias, the gallon of milk and the ice cream for $6.00. Then, I had him run a second one, at the same time because there wasn’t a limit. This time, he used four of the same $1.00 off Activia coupons and bought the Oberweis half-gallon chocolate milk. Jewel is running a BOGO on the Oberweis chocolate milk. He had to pay $0.29 for the first milk along with the deposit. But basically we ended up with the Activia and Oberweis chocolate milk for $4.29. Not too bad. That Dean’s coupon is in the 6/19 SmartSource insert. It wasn’t listed on Coupontom.com, so I added it to that insert list. You still have a few hours to get this deal done. I had these Activia coupons from a special promotion, so unfortunately, you might have to use the $1.00 off 2, but still not a bad deal.

I wrote this store off months ago – they don’t follow the coupon policy and always have an attitude when processing coupons. Too bad for them – I prefer their quiet store and would make the extra effort to go there if their cashiers were more friendly and knew the corporate policy!

Does anyone have the official “buy 4+ Minute Maid and get a $3 Catalina” deal terms? Something printable? I had trouble with this deal last night at Jewel – the $3 Catalina didn’t print. The manager wanted to the promotion terms. I tried to call Catalina this morning for help but the person I spoke to was not helpful at all. Thanks.

FYI…If you are a Menards rebater….Cutter Insect Repellent is on sale for $0.99 after $2.00 mail in rebate, limit 3. If you have 2 coupons $1.50/1 (5/22 RP) they will be free after rebate. However, if you have 3 coupons, it will be a $1.50 money maker.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Butera, at least the one in Algonquin, has T-bone steaks on sale for $2.99/lb and Porterhouse on sale for $3.19/lb. So if you like grilling like I do, this is an excellent price on steaks.

Has anyone else noticed the buy1get2free deal at Dom’s on OM Meat Franks? I am planning to buy 6 packs using 3 $1.00 off coupons and one of them has free Wonder buns. Will this work? If so, WHAT A DEAL. $1.20 for 6 packs of wieners plus free buns. Mmmmm…..grilling!

The link to Aunt Millie’s site doesn’t show a coupon for hamburger and hot dog buns any longer. I found another link for the buns here:

online walgreens had printable coupon for $3 off 2 packs of carefree pantyliners 16-60 count. In store that the 20 count was 1.49, making the 2 packs free. They did have to price adjust the coupon to 2.98 because the register couldnt take three dollars off of carefree if there wasnt three dollars worth.
