What a week for coupon shopping! A big welcome to all the new readers of the blog, and also to those of you who come back every week for great deals!
This week’s deals are posted EARLY in honor of my wonderful husband :) We’re celebrating our anniversary this week, so I got all my shopping and writing done ahead of schedule. Enjoy!
If you’re new to the site, take a quick minute to read Using this site and bring yourself up to speed on all the coupon lingo and abbreviations. Unless otherwise noted, grocery store deals run through Wednesday of this week, and the pharmacy deals run through Saturday. And, if you’re new to couponing in general, check out my Super-Couponing website for a list of FREE coupon classes and instructions on how to start using coupons effectively!
First off, the big news is that Kmart is doing their Super Doubles AGAIN! These double coupon events are coming every 4-6 weeks lately, and they’re so much fun because they allow us to stock up on LOTS of things very, very cheaply. Kmart doubles up to and including $2 coupons, and when $1 doubles to $2, and $2 doubles to $4, you can get many things cheap and FREE!
Abundant Food Savings has an excellent matchup list to help get you started, and you can always post your favorite matchups too!
Kmart.com has a $5 off $50 coupon that you could possibly work into this as well if you’ve got a big trip planned.
Note too that there are two different advertised coupon limits for this sale. The Kmart flyer states that they will accept 10 doubled coupons per person per day, but in this weekend’s RedPlum insert, there’s another ad for Kmart doubles which states they will accept 75 coupons per day per person. If you are planning a mega-trip, I’d recommend bringing that ad with you in case there is any discrepancy at the register…
Over at Dominick’s, their Buy 10, Save $5 mix and match has some pretty good deals too. You can buy any 10 items, and $5 will automatically be deducted at the end. Buy 20 and $10 comes off, and so on.
Keep in mind you must buy in quantities of 10 to get the prices noted here! But it’s easy to do with the good prices on some of these…
(And remember, these prices assume you are buying in quantities of 10 items, mix and match:)

As is typical with these sales, there are MANY more items in the sale than are in the ad. HCW has a list of all the items if you’re a spreadsheet person and like doing your own matchups!
Remember that Dominick’s accepts expired coupons too, so I’ve noted expireds where they match to this sale. If you like doing matchups on your own, you can use Hot Coupon World’s expired database to find more matches.
* Have you heard of All You? All You is a coupon-filled magazine! It sells for $2.49 an issue at Walmart (they have an exclusive newsstand distribution for it) or you can subscribe online for less. It’s a very nice magazine, but truthfully, I rarely get around to reading it… because I’m getting it for the coupons! The current issue has over $110 worth of coupons inside — really! And, it has an alphabetical index of all the products, coupons, values, and pages they appear on. Yep, what’s not to love about that? So, when deals feature All You coupons, I post them here too :)
If you’re a fan of electronic coupons, you probably know that you can add coupons from www.PGeSaver.com to your Dominick’s card and stack with these. Dominick’s has also partnered with www.shortcuts.com and www.cellfire.com as well! Just register on both sites with your Fresh Values card number. The discounts will automatically be applied if you buy the items shown on either site. (Note that if a coupon appears on both sites, you do only get ONE per transaction. And, unlike Jewel’s Avenu, once you use a discount, it disappears from your card.)
The best stacking deal this week with ShortCuts? Pedigree Dentastix dog treats. Blog reader sjw1314 noted that they’re on sale for $3.99. Add the $2.50 electronic coupon from ShortCuts to your card, and stack this with the $2.50 coupon from 4/19 RP, and you’ll be getting $5 in coupon value on a $3.99 item… resulting in FREE dog treats and $1.01 overage to apply to everything else you’re buying! Even if you don’t have a dog, this is a good deal… and you can always pass those treats on to someone who does, or donate them to your food pantry (most pantries take pet supplies too!) Here’s my receipt to show you how these electronic coupons look as they ring up:
Continuing this week at Dominick’s again too… Wacky Mac pasta is .99 a bag. Use the .75 coupon from 5/10 SS and take this home for .24!
Heading over to Jewel… did you do the Jewel Freezer Deal this past February? If so, it’s time to use that FREE Reggio’s frozen pizza coupon. The pizzas are currently B1G1F, so use that coupon now and take home TWO for free… and if you didn’t use the FREE Floresta pasta coupon the last time it went B1G1F, it too is B1G1F again. Free pizza and pasta!
Still at Jewel, Bayer Quick Release aspirin crystals are $1.99. Use the $2 coupon from 5/31 RP and take these home for FREE…
Still at Jewel, Ronzoni SmartTaste pasta is $1.25. Use the $1 coupon from 4/5 SS and take this home for a quarter a box!
Still at Jewel, their deal on milk continues… (And how often is it that we see deals on milk? Not often!) Half-gallons of Dean’s Over the Moon milk cost $2.41-$2.89 at Jewel (prices range depending on store.) There are $1 coupons for Over the Moon in 3/1 SS and 5/17 SS. The bonus? For each carton you buy, you’ll get a .50 Catalina for your next shopping trip! (White milk varieties only, not chocolate.) This brings the price of your milk down to .91-$1.49.
AND… if you’ve done the Jewel Preferred Card update (and if you haven’t, you should… the coupon book you get is FILLED with great stuff!) I’ve got another bonus to add to the milk deal. The book also contains a coupon for a free bottle of Swiss Tea when you buy any gallon of Dean’s milk. If you buy 2 cartons of this, you’ll have purchased a gallon… and you can get yourself a free bottle of tea too! (The tea is near the orange juice, not near the other teas. I hunted around so you don’t have to! :)
And if you HAVEN’T done the update event, what are you waiting for? It’s absolutely worth doing if you’re near any of the participating Jewel stores, as you get a book filled with coupons, many of which are for FREE things!
Note that the .50 Catalina deal on Over the Moon is scheduled to run through June 13, so we’ve got about another week to enjoy cheap(er) milk!
Heading to Meijer, they have a SWEET deal going on Kool-Aid. In my coupon class, I show an example where I bought cheap Kool-Aid to get a larger item for free. Sometimes we do these “take one for the team” kinds of deals… and this is one of those! Kool-Aid packets are .10 each. Buying 20 packets will generate a Catalina good for a FREE 5lb. bag of sugar! Now, use 2 coupons for .50 off 10 packets of Kool-Aid print 2 here or 1 here, pay $1.00 for 20 packets of Kool-Aid, and a FREE sugar! The sugar alone costs more than this deal ($2.89) … and if you aren’t a huge fan of Kool-Aid, consider that they do have lemonade mix too, which is tasty on a hot summer day! Or, donate it to the food pantry and keep that cheap sugar for yourself :) The free sugar Catalina deal runs through 6/20. Thanks to Savings R Us and Love Your Coupon Tips for spotting this one!
Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… unless Kool-Aid is still .10, and then you’re fine. Confusing? Yes. This is why I don’t blog too many Meijer deals…
For my Hilander/Kroger shoppers, a few quick deals this week…
Ken’s salad dressing sprays are $1.49. Use the $1 coupon from 5/3 SS and get this for .49…
12-ounce Lysol cans are $2.49. Use the $2 coupon from 6/7 SS and take this home for .49!
And still at Hilander/Kroger, the following deals from last week are still going…
Still at Hilander/Kroger, Dial liquid hand soap is $1 a pump. Use the .35 coupons from 3/8 SS and 5/17 SS… which will double to .70 off, and take this home for just .30 a pump!
Kraft BBQ sauce is on sale for a buck too. With this $1 coupon, it’s FREE!
Over at Walgreens, if you missed the great deal on All and Snuggle laundry products that Meijer was running last week… you can pick them up again cheaply this week! All and Snuggle are part of a Register Rewards deal. Buy 3 bottles (mix or match) at $4.49 each and get a $5 RR. Mix or match this however you like, but buy 3 bottles of either/both products and use a $1 coupon on each:
Pay $10.47 after coupons and get $5 back! You’ll end up paying $5.47 for all 3, or about $1.83 a bottle. A great deal!
Those of you that have been waiting for a good diaper deal can head over to CVS, where there’s a great deal going on Pampers jumbo packs! Forum reader cgclee noted that Pampers are $8.99 this week, and for each pack you buy, you’ll get $5 back in ECBs! (This is supposed to be a limit of 3 packs.) If you have $1 Pampers coupons from 6/7 PG or recent Pampers mailers, or $1.50 coupons from inside the packages, or $2 coupons from the $120 P&G Year of Savings book that went out in January, you could be taking these Pampers home for as little as $1.99-$2.99 a pack!
BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: As of this writing, the $5 ECBs are NOT printing automatically. And, this offer is only on CVS’s site, not in the flyer… so definitely print a copy of the offer from their site with you before you go so that you can make sure the store manually credits your ECBs.
Still at CVS, if you’re buying diapers, you may want to scout out some cheap baby wipes too! Blog reader tracynvk noted that she found 144-count Huggies Natural Care baby wipes… on clearance for .25. Really! Her store manager told her “they accidentally sent the wrong size wipes to several CVS and they do not scan in their systems.” If you’re at CVS, take a look and see if your store has them. With the .75 coupon from 4/19 SS or the .50 coupon from June All You, they’d be FREE…
As has been the case for the past few weeks now (whenever I have great coupons to give away!) a special thanks again to my forum members who posted and alerted me to super deals this week! To cgclee, Savings R Us, SJW1314, tracynvk, Savings R Us, and Love Your Coupon Tips, I want to reward you with some great, high-value coupons for posting the deals you found! If your screen name was listed above, email me at jill@supercouponing.com from the email address you used to register for the blog and let me know where to mail these :) The sooner you let me know where to send them, I’ll drop them in the mail… Thanks again & have a great week shopping!
Also, please note that as much as I’d like to, I cannot send coupons in the postal mail to everyone. Occasionally I receive coupons to give away in my classes, and I’ve been sending some of those to blog readers when they post great deals too. When these coupons are gone, they’re gone — but I simply cannot send coupons to the hundreds of coupon requests I’ve been getting since I started this. If you come to a class, though, you can pick some up afterward… while supplies last!
And lastly, a very special thanks to blog reader Darrah, who sent me a beautiful card and gift to express how much she is enjoying saving money on groceries through tips she’s learned from the blog. I never ask for anything from you guys – I love deals too & sharing them! – but sometimes people go out of their way to let me know how much of a difference this is making in their lives. Darrah, my most sincere thanks! :)
FREE stuff:

Hi Jill! Thanks for posting the deals so nice and early! I read the koolaid deal with the catalina printing for a free 5 lbs bag of sugar, does this deal end the 20th of June? I’m in Belvidere and I plan to be in South Elgin on Friday so I’m hoping I can wait till then to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!

Use $1 off coupon and get shredded cheese for $.69. Not as good as our past Kraft catalina, but we are almost out now so I thought it was good.

Anyone have a copy of the ad stating the 5.00 ecb with the diapers that they can email me seeing as how they took it off their site already??

I loaded the coupon to my Dominicks card and was wondering how many can I purchase to receive the 2.50 savings. Jewel gives you a limited and I can’t seem to find a limit on the Dominicks card.

Might need to double check the All bottles at Wags. The coupon that printed for $1 off each is for All 3X. It also printed a $0.40 off on All 2X. 5-10 Redplum has $1 off 2 or $0.40 off one.
Maybe take all of the All coupons you have in case they’re out of one type. I was kind of in a hurry and only saw the 2X and used the $1 off 2 Q.

Dominick’s Mix N Match deal lasting? The fine print in the add which is white on orange can’t read.

Okay so I spent a decent amount of time reviewing and clipping before I went and by the time I left my house I only had an hour to spend at the store. I had it all figured out! Or so I thought. I walked in the store and asked what the coupon limit was so there wouldn’t be any problems at the register. I went through, got my things and then went to the checkout. i separated my order and did my “deal” first so I could get my $14 back. Heres where I made my mistake! The cashier wanted to do my coupons as she rang them up. Since I was running late I complied until I noticed a $3 dollar catalina print out. OOOPS! I told the cashier that there was a problem and since she was ringing up my coupons at the same time I was worried that I wasn’t going to get my full reward. She didn’t understand and called over a woman from the service desk, and she was very rude saying that it doesn’t matter how it gets rung up because I would only get credit for the amount I was actually spending. If this was the case then why would the catalina print out while the cashier was scanning?? As the service desk woman walked away she mumbled “all your coupons are being doubled anyhow.” I wouldn’t have bought all the stuff I had if I didn’t WANT the reward. Geez! I hadn’t been in the time crunch that I was because I was really angry now and wanted to tell her to “shove it.” But in the end I decided that maybe I would go back and return a few things today instead but at this point I think I am going to just cut my losses of $11.(ouch!) Everything I got was things I needed for around the house anyhow but man. I ended up spending more money than I wanted to. Bottom line, when going to Kmart for double coupons from now on, I am not pulling out my coupons until EVERYTHING has been rung up!

Meijer has a mens Gillette gift set ( razor, full size deoderant, body wash ) for $8.99 and you get a catalina for $5.00 off your next visit. Use your PG coupon from Sunday’s paper for $4.00 off. I wasn’t sure if that coupon for the razor would scan on the gift set, but it did.

Hi Jill,
Today I went to Dominick’s and tried to buy three bags of Wacky Mac Pasta (.99 each) with 2 Sunday insert coupons (.75 each) and one coupon printed off the internet (.75). The cashier informed me that since the final price of the product (.24) was less than half of the selling price, I was not allowed to use the internet coupon, but that the Sunday insert coupons were alright to use. She claimed this was their new policy. Can you tell me if the policies at Dominick’s have changed? Thank you.

Does any one know where to find the Marcal singles mentioned above that we have free coupons for? I can’t find them anywhere, just multipacks.
