Hello, Super-Couponers! After a wonderful weekend road-trip with my family, I returned to see that this blog EXPLODED while I was away.
I have had varied reactions to what’s happened with the current Jewel sale. People who are new to couponing could likely not possibly fathom the insanity that these deals bring out in deal-hunters and shoppers.
I have always enjoyed maintaining this blog. I love sharing these deals with everyone, as I know they are making a difference in the lives of so many. But it’s a daunting task to deal with the constant stream of complaints that the blog has generated over the past week.
In addition to being your blog host, I am also a mother, a writer, and a workshop instructor. I devote a large portion of my time each week to teaching people in one form or another how to save money during this difficult economy. But I am also just one person.
Please remember this. Let’s keep it civil.
If you’re new to the site, take a quick minute to read Using this site and bring yourself up to speed on all the coupon lingo and abbreviations. It’s a good idea to save the grocery and drugstore flyers from both Wednesday and Sunday each week to have on hand & refer to too as you go through the deals! And, if you’re new to couponing in general, check out my Super-Couponing website for a list of coupon classes (most are FREE!) and easy instructions on how to start using coupons effectively!
AND… my Super-Couponing class is now available on DVD! Own the 72-minute class and watch it whenever you like! Click for a video preview & learn how to order!

Over at Dominick’s, I once again received no Dominick’s flyers in either of the newspapers I receive… so we’ll move on to Meijer…
At Meijer, boneless pork loin is on sale for $1.49/lb – an excellent price! Anytime meat is under $1.99/lb, no matter what it is, it’s a buy if you’d like it… and that’s cheap!
Meijer orange juice is priced well this week too, at $2/carton for both orange and orange/pineapple…
Note that Meijers in other states are on different schedules. The Illinois Meijers are about a week behind on the sales vs. Indiana/Michigan. If you’re in Illinois, these Meijer deals run through Wednesday. If you’re reading from another state, they ENDED Saturday at your store… Confusing? Yes. This is why I don’t blog too many Meijer deals…
Here’s a new tidbit about Target… if you take reusable bags with for your shopping trip, you’ll get a .05 savings on your total for every bag you bring and use! We like free money :)
Every year we see good and crazy deals on Glade products, and this November is already no exception. Target’s got a promo running on Holiday Glade products through 12/15. Buy any 5 Holiday Glade products and get a $5 Target gift card.
The coupons to use here? Two Buy One, Get One Free Glade coupons – here and here. With enough coupons, pay $5… and get $5! FREE Glade. The 11/1 SS has MANY more Glade coupons for you to work into this deal too, including B1G1Fs for candles, scented oil warmers, and more… and, many of the candle tins have $1.50 coupons inside too. (DON’T open the tins before you buy them… buy first, then use the other coupons to do another round…)
Continuing yet again this week, bags of Chef Michael’s dog food are $4.49 at Target. Use the $3 manufacturer coupon from 10/11 SS and stack it with the $1 Target coupon from 8/30 SS. You’ll pay just .49 a bag! Note that one of these coupons expires 11/23, so we’ve only got a couple more weeks to use these up…
For my Rockford-area readers, Hilander continues to have a great “Buy 10, save $5 instantly” sale going. There are a BUNCH of things in the current sale – check your ad for reference. But some of these things, when purchased in quantities of ten, become free after coupon, as .50 comes off the price of each item.
Here’s what you want to work into this week’s deal:
Halls cough drops: They’re .50 when you purchase them in a group of ten included items. With the .35 coupon from 9/27 SS doubling to .70, you’ll get .70 off at the register – but after the $5 instant savings knocking the price down to .50 each, you’ll also gain .20 in overage!
Ricola cough drops (yep, you’ll take home lots of free cough drops) … they’re $1 each. Use the B1G1F coupon from 10/11 SS to take $1 off your total. Then, with the instant savings, another .50 per bag will come off too… making these FREE!
Rolaids: They’re $1.50 each. Use the $1 coupon from 10/4 RP… and .50 will come off in instant savings when purchased in groups of 10, making these FREE too…
Temptations cat treats: They’re $1.41. Use the .50 coupon from 10/25 RP, which will double to $1. Another .50 comes off with the instant savings, making these FREE with overage…
Snuggle fabric softener: It’s $3.49. Use the $3 coupon in 10/4 RP to make it just. 49… and the extra .50 savings makes it FREE!
Carnation evaporated canned milk: It’s $1 a can. Use the $.50 off 2 coupons from 11/1 RP or 9/27 SS. It will double to $1. Then, get .50 savings on each can from the instant savings deal, making these FREE…
Cheez It Crackers: They’re $1.49 each. Buy 2 and use the $1.50 off 2 coupon from 10/4 RP. Then, save another .50 a box… knocking your total down to just .24 a box after the deal!
Land O Lakes spreadable butter: It’s $1.49. Use the .40 coupon from 10/18 SS, which will double to .80. Then, save another .50 with the instant savings, making this just .19!
Tylenol: On sale for $3. Use the $2 coupons from 8/23 SS and 9/20 RP. Then, save another .50 a box in instant savings, making this just .50 a box!
There are a LOT of items included in the sale, but these are definitely the highlights. Have fun!
Also still free at Hilander… Reach dental floss! It’s on sale for a buck, and with the $1 coupons from 6/14 SS and 10/4 SS, it’s free. The 3/15 SS has a .50 coupon which will double to $1, making a third floss free for you too :)
Have you seen the electronic coupons for Hilander/Kroger stores? SoftCoin recently added support for Kroger stores (including Hilander) for their new electronic coupons for Unilever products! Click here to check them out… they load to your card the same way that Cellfire/PGE/ShortCuts do, meaning we now have FOUR sets of electronics we can stack with at Kroger stores. WOW!
Drugstore Deals
Heading to Walgreens, you can take home some Bayer aspirin very cheaply! It’s on sale for $1.50 with the current Walgreens flyer coupon. Stack this with the $1 manufacturer coupon from 10/25 RP and pay just .50 a bottle…
One of our forum members, Vadarwalsh, spotted a great deal on Ocean Spray juices! They’re already a good price at .99 a bottle with the Walgreens store coupon from the November coupon book, available in the front rack of the store. Where this deal starts to get even more fun? Many bottles have $1 peelies on them… making them FREE!
And finally, over at CVS, Natural Instincts haircolor is really cheap after a coupon/ECB deal! It’s $6.99 pre-coupon. Use the $2 coupon from 10/11 PG, pay $4.99… and get $3 back in Extra Care Bucks! Your new haircolor will cost you just $1.99…
EarRinse ear spray is FREE after ECB too. Pay $7.99 and get $7.99 back!
FREE coupons that are still current:
9/27 SS – FREE Friskies Natural Sensations Cat Treats
(exp. 11/30/09)
10/18 SS – FREE roll of Marcal toilet paper, paper towels, or facial tissue (exp. 11/30/09)

9/13 SS – FREE Freshpet Select Homestyle refrigerated pet meal (exp. 12/31/09) [regional insert for NON-Tribune newspapers – another rarity]
As always, these deals are guidelines for shopping. I can make no guarantee that these items will be on sale, in stock, or available at your area store. I can also not guarantee your Catalinas will print, your cashier will smile at you while you check out, or that your shopping cart won’t have a broken wheel. But I CAN teach you how to save money :)
* (All You magazine is not a requirement for using the site, but if you like coupons, you will probably really enjoy it. It’s a cheap ($2.49 an issue) magazine that is absolutely filled with coupons each month — typically 20-30 of them. Many websites are now tracking the All You coupons and matching them to deals, just as they do with the newspaper coupon inserts. You can subscribe to All You online and save about $10/year off the cover price. And depending on the values, if you use 2 or 3 coupons alone from each issue, you’ve recouped the cost of the magazine, and you’re on your way to even bigger savings.)

sorry to hear about all the aggervation people are giving you. you do a wonderful job and i have learned alot. i am having a hard time lately and couponing helps alot and makes me very happy. it has also brought my family closer. we love cutting coupons together and donating them to the military. i hope some bad apples dont spoil this for the rest of us. couponing is like a game, sometimes you win and sometimes you dont. people need to learn not to be sore loosers , learn what they did wrong and try again or if they cant handle it then give it up.
thanks for everything jill and keep up the great work :}

that people are treating you that way. I look forward to seeing the deals that you post each weak so that I can save some money. You have helped me and thousands of others and I thank you for it. I hope that you continue providing us with the great deals but I certainly understand if you decide to stop. Thank you Jill for teaching us all how to shop smarter and save lots of money.

I am one of the many who asked about the specifics. And I am OH SO SORRY!! I had no idea you were so popular and that so many others were just as confused as I was. I am happy to say though, that since I tried many versions of this catalina sale, that I think I am now a black belt!! And it all started because of you!!
So thank you so much!! My husband has been unemployed since April with no sign of so much as an interview. SO you seriously have helped us stay afloat!!
I am sorry that other people are emailing you in such a mean and nasty way. I even had a problem tonight at jewel (apparently they close their service desk before 11pm so I gotta bring EVERYTHING back tomorrow for a “redo”) BUT that is something that I need to deal with Jewel and not with you!!
There are likely 100x more people that are thankful for what you do and don’t email you than the meanies who vent at your expense. It boggles my mind that you got so many mean emails!!!
I hope the turkeys don’t bring you down and you keep on doing what you are so good at!! And I thank you very much for what you have taught/shared with me!!

Because I’d have throw a couple of choice words right back at them about what they can do to themselves. I don’t get why people would email you and bother you about stuff like that. I remember emailing you once and that’s because your site was gone. You had to get more servers or something I don’t remember. I know what a pain in the caboose it is changing an email addy too. But I’d just like to tell you thank you for teaching me to shop even smarter Jill, you’re the best, I can’t care what the rookies are saying about you they should just know their roles and shut their holes.
Love,
Ugly

Name-calling and threats?, UNBELIEVABLE! I’m sorry, but some people really need to get a grip. Also, you forgot to add another thing you do…help some of us while in the store! I’m so mad for you!! Glad you at least had a good week-end.

I lost one tonight, but it’s because I was in a hurry and the Bryer’s didn’t ring up what I thought it would, I was short about $.40. And the only name I am going to call you is “My Guardian Angel”!! If it wasn’t for you, I don’t know what my family would have done the last couple of months. I have been out of work all year and the ouotcome doesn’t look good as of yet, but thanks to Super-Couponing, since July, things have gotten better. Please don’t give up Jill, you taught me not to!! I even get to donate to the food pantry in my town and TAILS, who would have thought, not me in a million years.
Thanks again to “My Guardian Angel”
God Bless you and your family!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful gift.

Jill a thousand THANK YOU’s to you and everyone that adds to the forums! I am a single mom with 2 kids, money is tight, I appreciate all the work! I don’t drink, I don’t gamble, for a rush I coupon .. when I follow the rules to get the deals it’s amazing!
Marlene1963 says
I just want to say thank you for all the help you’ve given everybody with the coupons. I am having so much fun with it. Yes, I have screwed up many times, but I don’t blame you or the store. I quietly eat the mistake, study my receipt and learn from it for the next time. As for people wanting you to figure out there grocery list for them – forget it. You give them the tools, they can do the rest. Also, since you don’t own or run any of the stores, how can they possibly blame you if something doesn’t work. I’m a firm believer in 98 out of 100 times it’s the consumers fault. One other thing people should learn, most of the cashier’s are willing to help you in any way possible (unless there’s a line behind you), just be friendly. Cashier’s usually know less about what’s on sale than you do – they just scan the merchandise. Again Jill I thank you and all the other couponing sites for a wonderful job your doing.
mommybrain4 says
I just want to say thank you Jill for helping me and my friends save money for Christmas and stock our local food pantry. I have been following your blog since September and can’t believe what I’ve saved since I’ve been following your shopping tips. It’s truly amazing and a the way this blog and your name has gone viral on facebook is a testament to how well you do your job.
Just this weekend I was doing a deal at a Jewel in Shorewood and as I was checking out the cashier whispered to me, “I know Jill Cataldo too!” Here in the south suburbs, your name is synonymous with coupons and saving money….and you should be so proud.
It’s frustrating when your Cat deal doesn’t work people, but seriously, it’s not Jill’s fault…check your prices, bring your calculator, take your chances…it’s the thrill of the deal we all love(oh, and the saving money) but the thing is, it wouldn’t be a thrill if it was so safe it was a guarantee. Just dust yourself off, return the stuff if you want and get back out there! Oh, and stop here to say thank you because the reality is if Jill didn’t have a blog or a class or a DVD we would all still be shopping at Aldi instead of filling our pantries with name brand products for practically free! Thank you Jill!
dejhayes says
There is simply no excuse for treating anyone that way, especially someone like Jill who is sharing her knowledge and experience to help us save money. I have learned the hard way to use the scanner in any Jewel I go to, before I head to the register.
People name calling and giving threats is soooo wrong on soooo many levels. They should be ashamed!! They need to learn to check their prices and their receipts when they mess up, seriously.
If you decide to quit posting specific deals in order to put the bad seeds at bay, we understand. But Don’t let the bad crop discourage you. Know that you help thousands of people, who are greatful beyond all words :o)
btrmama08 says
I am so annoyed for you that you were up that late to write this, I think we all could have waited for the deals this week so you could get your sleep. I think that new people might think you are a machine and this is all you do. You have truly changed the way I shop, I can’t shop without a plan anymore and I used to spend a lot of money unnecessarily because of that lack of planning. Thank you for all you do, I am sorry for the inconsiderate emails.

Hi Jill,
I am VERY new to couponing and I wanted to let you know that I appreciate all that you are doing. I did take part in the Jewels catalina deal and was very sucessful. I have saved just a little under $200.00 already…When I read your post …the threats, name calling ..it really saddened me. What is wrong with people??…I kind of fouled up one of my shopping trips back to Jewel and my catalinas did not print…I accepted full responsibility..I went over what I did wrong and on the next trip did much better…You don’t blame the next person if you failed to understand ” how it works “..I just wanted you to know that I know that it works..I put it to the test and Thank You for everything
farmgirl says
I cant believe people do that sort of thing. Maybe next time one of these deals come along you should just say there is a catalina deal going and give the list of products included and let people figure it out by themselves. You tell people over and over agian not to do it if they are new or have no idea how do do it why can’t they listen, are we not all adults?
Carolyn says
It is really sad that people blame you for their mistakes. I have been doing this for about 2 months and have made some mistakes, but I only blame myself and learned from them. I would never be getting the great deals I do, and saving the money I do without your help Jill, so thank you! I have a family of 5, including 3 growing boys that eat me out of house and home and this has truely helped. So thanks again!
kensbaby93 says
Everytime I read about someone calling Jill at home or emailing her and complaining. Seriously!!! Is Jill sitting behind a computer that is in charge of catalinas. Is she the one that hits a button and makes them print.
Maybe if “you” would READ EVERYTHING we would not have this problem. She puts the info in her deals every week!!!
Black belt deals are a gamble. In a game of Black Jack, would you yell at the dealer if you did not win, no right. (not directing this at you, your post just made me think about all the people yelling at Jill when their deals do not work). Then why would anyone blame Jill.
Jill we Thank you so much for teaching us. You are such an amazing woman. I dont know how you have the time to do what you do and to do it so well. Jill, do what you need to do to continue to be a mother and wife 1st.

is a sorry email from anyone of those 175 complainers that are giving Jill a hard time and I personally think should be banned from this group.
On the other hand I think its wonderdul all the kind emails to Jill letting her know how much she is appreciated. I certainly appreciate everything she does.
So thank you jill

Jill, thank you, that’s all I can say, thank you.

Many thanks go to you.I am very thankful for giving me the tools and knowledge to shop and save.I am also a stay at home mom.I have been doing this for a year now and have saved so much. The savings is like having a part time job.I don’t know how people have gotten your e-mail address. That seems scary.I don’t know why they need to email you when they can post here and ask questions.Everyone here is very helpful when you are unable to answer. You are only one person. So everyone GIVE HER A BREAK!
Kathy04 says
Jill, Maybe you should post all the email addresses to the people who emailed you to complain about something. I think a lot of us would be willing to write back and help you. I wish people would just stop complaining about something and think about all the postive things that you have done for people. You have taught me so much and I’m greatful for that! I try to teach one person each time I’m out shopping or just telling them where to go to learn about how to save money! Thank you for all you have taught me! You should think about posting all the email addresses so we can email them back with a lot of you know what. Let them get a taste of it. I know that may sound rude but a lot of people are always trying to blame someone else for something that they did. Thanks again!
shlee says
Jill, It is so not fair that you have to deal with all of that. You are truly appreciated and so many people are grateful to you. You are a celebrity now though. Do you think you should change your e-mail address and only give it to family and friends? Same for your phone number? It’s sad that I even suggest it, but celebrities have private numbers for this very reason. Any couponing questions can be posted to this blog. There is no reason you should have to answer them using e-mail. There are plenty of knowledgable people on these forums, with plenty to say. Let them help out.

As with most everyone else, I just want to thank you for opening my “couponing eyes.” After attending your class I now look at the ads much differently and am getting quite proficient at matching up my own deals. It does take a lot of patience and time in the beginning but is well worth it. I even carry a calculator to add up my items. Thanks again!

I’ve often thought of writing you and expressing my sincere gratitude! I have a family of 6 and to be able to spend under $100 at the grocery before taking the Super Couponing clas was a joke. Now, if I spend more than $50-$60 it’s high! You have saved us so much money!! In such an economic hardship, this has been a blessing. I think someone on here called you an angel and I couldn’t agree more. You have changed so many lives!!
Thank you Thank you!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all you do. For those of you who send nasty emails Jill is not being paid by you. She is not guaranteeing that it will work every time. If your cats do not print return the items, all you will be out is your coupons. Don’t hold her responsible if the store changes their prices/coupons it is not her fault.

I can’t thank you enough for all of the information that you post and everything that I have learned. I shop completely different now and have saved so much. Please don’t allow those who are ungrateful to discourage you – you have helped so many. God bless you.

Thank you so much Jill for all your hard work. You are an amazing woman and I sincerely appreciate all that you do!!! This week was a very emotionally and physically draining week for me (kids were sick with the H1N1 flu), but I got myself together and tried to get a couple deals in…..Unfortunately, both times the Catalina machine wasn’t working but the Jewel employees kept insisting that although the system was working fine the night before, something in the system changed overnight. I even redid the whole order with what they told me was the “correct” preferred pricing amount, and still no catalina. It was frustrating b/c the employees themselves don’t know what’s going on…..but this has nothing to do with you. YOU’RE A ROCKSTAR in my book! =)

I’m thinking maybe what may be happening is that although Jewel has the catalina deal going, I’ve just found out the Catalina will NOT print if you mix the food and the paper products. I just left the Jewel in Gurnee and purchased the Scotts paper towels and then went to purchase the other food type items and threw in some more Scotts toilet tissue and Kleenex and the cat didn’t print so I went to customer service and she said that was why and gave me a refund and my catalina coupons back from the register…maybe purchasing food separately from paper is the answer?

Now Walgreens will only allow us to purchase the number of items listed. No more 2-3 transactions…its a NEW policy. So if the sale limit is 3 items, you will only be allowed to buy 3. Unless of course you leave and go to another store or go back later, but not at the same time. They gave me a couple reasons why, but I’m told this is new within the last month because customers would come in and clear off the shelves…? Its not like CVS where they actually can keep track of purchases on your card, but its getting there…anyone have any thoughts about this latest development?

I have found that some Cashiers are not as current on the policy’s at their stores as they should be. I had one tell my friend that the Catalina didn’t print becasue she paid a portion of her bill with another Catalina?? This of course is not true! Sometimes the deal is off by a few cents, the item purchased was not included etc etc..Keep Trying!
On a side note to Jill I am APPALLED that grown women/men would email you about this stuff and in a less then nice way!! Come on people she’s trying to help us. Get your stuff togther and start acting like adults. This website is not owed to us but a privelage!!!!!!! Keeping it Real…….TRY IT!

After reading what you came home to I wanted to “do my part” and give back to you. I received a Doms ad this week and these are the deals I took advantage of:
Jennie-O Turkey: $.69 lb with min $20 purchase. Limit 1.
Butterball Turkey: $.99 lb with min $20 purchase. Limit 1.
Butternut Honey Wheat & Whole Grain White bread: $1.19. There are $.50 coupons for the Honey Wheat in the Jewel Coupon book you received for updating your info and there are $.50 coupons for the Whole Grain in 10/4S. These will bring your cost down to $.69 a loaf.
Asparagus is $.99 lb!
Betty Crocker Cake Mix and Frosting is Buy 2 Get 3 Free!!! I bought two cakes and three frostings. I loaded frosting coupons onto my card from Cellfire and Shortcuts and then used three manf. coupons(10/25S, smartsource.com and coupons.com) and I paid $1.35 with tax! If you bought all frosting you could get it even cheaper!
Cheezit crackers are B1G1 for $4.79. There is $1.50/2 in 10/4RP and I also had $1 off from a Dominick’s mailer I rec’d so I got two boxes for $2.29.
“Buy 3 Save $3 Mix and Match Sale” on cereal. I’m sure there are many good deals here. I purchased the Kashi Go-Lean Crunch which drops to $2.50 after the $3 is taken off. I used two $3 coupons and one $1.50 coupon I had rec’d from Vocalpoint and I got all three boxes for free!
A&H toothpaste is on sale for $2.49 for 6oz. There is a Dominicks Super Coupon in the ad dropping the price to $1.49 limit 4. I used the $3/2 from 8/16S and got four tubes for free!
Kleenex cubes are $1.50 ea when you buy four. There is a Dominick’s Super Coupon for $2 off when you buy four. There was also $1.50 off $5 tissue purchase coupon in that Dominick’s mailer I rec’d and I also had $1 off four Catalina which brought my total cost for four boxes to $1.50
They’re also running a Home for the Holidays promo get $5 for every $25 of participating products. It runs thru 11/29. Look for the “door knocker” tags in the store.
I know this isn’t as thorough as Jill would have done it and I probably missed some stuff that didn’t interest me but it’s better than nothing and I feel like I gave back a little.
Happy shopping!

There is also a mail in rebate that we can send in to make the Target/Glade deal a money maker. I bought 2 glade scented oil tins and 3 refills. I used 2 B1G1 coupons and $1 off a refill, so I paid $6.50. I got the $5 gift card, and now I can send in for the $5 rebate. The great thing is that each household can submit the rebate 3 times!

Am I losing my mind? or maybe I have different inserts now that I live in rockford? I can’t seem to find the carnation evaporated milk coupons. I saw it listed on coupontom over the weekend, but not anymore. I’ve gone through the inserts over 10x each. Can anyone help me out and see if yours are in those inserts? I need it for a new recipe, and was so excited to see it on sale… i feel like I’m going crazy… :)

I was very sad to read that you had received negative comments. I have used your site for several months now and saved so much money and have donated so much more to my food pantry. I am so grateful for what you do and who you are. I just signed it today so I can voice the positivity of how grateful I am that you give us all this free information. I have made mistakes with the catalinas and like that other woman had said, it is a learning experience and you still get your product :-) There is a reason each time you don’t get them and I can figure it out after looking in details. I am sure they would be able to as well. B+ folks. You must admit this is a whole lot easier with Jill than without her! :-)
Thank you a hundred times over. Peace.

Hi Jill,
I’m a huge fan! I’ve attended a few of your classes at local libraries and even have introduced several relatives to your awesome deals and information. We all appreciate everything you do to try and help others save large amounts of money. You’re not only teaching us so much, but, you are enthusiastic and fun and it’s contagious! I’m sorry there are so many morons out there who have been so rude to you. My personal message to those people would be, if you don’t like any of this, and you can’t stop being rude long enough to learn something useful, then go elsewhere, and leave the rest of us very grateful folks in peace! Keep doing exactly what you’re doing Jill, and ignore these fools. Thanks for everything always!

It is a down right shame that folks out there are sending Jill such negative responses. These people are without a doubt not taking the time to read through the forums, there is so much to be learned through them. I just recently attended Jill’s class and have been on the forum for a couple of months now. I had absolutely no problem with the Cat deals this week. It is not rocket science! Taking the shortcut of replicating posted scenarios are just that, SCENARIOS. On another note, THANK YOU JILL for sharing your knowledge!!!

In the spirit of helping out and relieving some of the pressure on Jill, I wanted to post a deal scenario that worked for me. HTH
2 Gold Medal Unbleached Flour Reg $3.79 Pref $1.99
14 cans of Green Giant veggies Reg $1.29 Pref $.79
(6 whole kernel corn, 6 cut green beans, 2 peas)
3 boxes of Betty C. Creamy Butter Potatoes Reg $1.89 Pref $1.69
Total Pre-preferred card price $31.31
Total Preferred card price $20.11
Minus 2 $.50 Flour Q’s = $19.11
Minus 3 $.40 potato Q’s = $17.91
Minus $15 cats rolled = $2.91 oop and got another $15 cats
That works out to $.15 per item!
It’s not the “best” deal you can do, but these are all things I needed so it worked for me.
Hope this helps!

I noticed today the shelves were stocked with scott paper towels. For my family of 7 my purchase last week of 16 rolls were enough until the next deals comes around.

I also want to say thank you Jill so much for teaching me to save with coupons. I have helped myself, my family, my neighbors, even random people I meet in the stores, we have all benefitted from you. I don’t know how people get your email, but I would not allow them to email you, as another post said, they can ask their question on the blog and people will answer them. But also, people just have to do the deals, and if it doesn’t work, then they’ll see what they did wrong. I was such a black belt this week, didn’t have a calculator, and didn’t have a pen, and I was able to do 7 different deals and got my $15 cats each time, I was so proud of myself.

I am pretty new to this and I have to tell you it has been FUN! I thank you for all you do. I was very disappointed to see the negativity you had been receiving. I have had situations that I didn’t get the outcome I was hoping for. Very simple to do, I returned everything and got my money and my coupons back. I appreciate all the guidance I’ve received from your web site and money saving tips. It’s made a huge difference in my life.
THANKS!!!
