Just got back from Walgreens, where I saw Buy 1 Get 2 free Arm & Hammer laundry detergent. These are the 25-32 load varieties. I was also able to use the $1/3 coupon on Arm & Hammer’s website.

Does anyone know if you can stack Coke Rewards free 12pk of Coke coupon with the Coke sale they have for 4 cases for $12? The Walgreens I went to said I could not stack them because the coupon in the Walgreens ad was a manufacturer coupon.

I bought 5 Sure and tried to buy 5 Brut deoderants. I had $1 off coupons for each from the newspaper. The cashier told me I could only buy 2 Brut, so she took off the other three and gave me my coupons back.
The Brut was marked 2/$5 on the shelf but rang up for $1.99 each, like the Sure.
You get back 1,000 points for each one, but have to ring each one separate to get all the points, making them all free.
I didn’t realize this and called and they did a one time adjustment to give me the 7000 points back. I am going back tomorrow to the other Walgreens to get the other three Bruts.
I did the Cottonelle deal and had no problem. I got back 3000 points for spending over $15 and got a $2RR and a $3RR.
My total today was 115.71 and my cost after RR and points earned was 9.13
I got 1 Almay liquid eye liner, 1 Almay eye shadow, 2 Softsoap shower gel, 1 Softsoap hand pump, 2 Cottonelle TP, 3 Cottonelle wipes, 18 packs of Trident gum, 5 Sure, 2 Brut, and a Mountain Dew Kickstart.
I saved 40.10 in sales savings, 42.75 in coupons including a $7RR and 5000 points (which I did not realize you cannot use points in a transaction where you are earning points or they won’t give you the new points – thank goodness they did the adjustment for me and gave me all my points I would have lost out on today). I earned 10,000 new points and got back $5.99RR.

Is this normal for Walgreens?
Tried to do the Gain deal spending $25.00 to earn the $3000 points and I was told that I had to spend $25 AFTER considering all the coupons. So I couldn’t pay $20 (after the coupons) and still get the points.

FYI….I was told by CVS that I could break up my purchases into seperate transactions for better earning power (like getting more than one catalina) and that all my purchases on the seperate transactions while at the checkout, would count toward amounts needed to earn the ECB’s. However, the same is NOT true for points from Walgreens. For example on the “spend $25 earn 3,000 points, I could not split up the items into two transactons to use coupons that were marked “one coupon per transaction”. They would not count the money spent on those items unless they were on one receipt which meant I could not use the coupons. It seems like Walgreens discourages multiple levels of savings like stacking or using coupons on items that earn points.
