I know, I know… you didn’t think you were heading to the stores this weekend because you didn’t want to face a mad sea of bargain-hunters chasing Black Friday sales :) But on Thanksgiving Day, both Walgreens and CVS/Pharmacy started some great free-after-Jingle Cash (Register Rewards) and free-after-Extra Care Bucks deals that will have you taking lots home for very, very little… with some nice moneymakers too! These are worth going out for, and the pharmacies -shouldn’t- be too crazy, right? These deals are good through Saturday, Nov. 27th.

But you don’t have to stop there… the following are all FREE after RRs too:
Walgreens FREE-after-Jingle-Cash/RRs:
7-Up, Dr. Pepper, A&W, Sunkist, Canada Dry or Hawaiian Punch 2-liters – Pay .99 and get .99 back in RRs!

Thermacare Heat Wraps 1ct. – Pay $2.49 and get $2.49 back in RRs!
Remember, all Walgreens deals are limited to ONE like item per offer per transaction. You can buy one of everything in the list and receive a long string of RRs, but you cannot buy, say, two 2-liters of pop and get two .99 RRs.
There are a lot of other great deals in the new Wags ad too that, while not FREE, are good buys. Those of you buying Wii systems may want to roll some of these RRs back into the $9.99 Wii games Walgreens has on sale too… with all of these deals, you can roll your RRs and buy a game or two.
Remember too, that at Walgreens, you cannot use more manufacturer coupons than you have items. So, you cannot use three $2.99 RRs to buy a $9.99 item — you will need some “filler” items so that the register will accept multiple RRs in the same transaction. My wonderful Walgreens cashier Agnieska (who is a couponer too!) suggested the Walgreens Pocket Tissue packs, which are on sale 4-for-$1 — they’re even cheaper than the caramels at the register, and they’re also conveniently found at the register too :)
Now, over to CVS/Pharmacy…
CVS also has a bunch of free-after-Extra Care Bucks deals on the back page of their new ad. All are free or moneymakers with ECBs and coupons. Look for the “100s of Gifts Under $10” catalog in store before you begin (big red glossy book) – there’s a “Spend $20, get $4 in ECBs coupon inside that makes these even BIGGER moneymakers!
CVS MONEYMAKERS:
Carmex Lip Balm – Pay .99 and get .99 back in ECBs! Limit 1.
– .30 off – 11/7 SS
With coupon, this is a .30 moneymaker.
Clairol Herbal Essences Hydralicious Shampoo or Conditioner – Pay $3.99 and get $3.99 back in ECBs! Limit 2.
– $2 off any Clairol Family product (has haircolor boxes in photo, but states Clairol Family…) – 10/31 PG
– .50 off – 11/14 RP1
With any coupon, this is a moneymaker.
Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste – Pay $3.99 and get $3.99 back in ECBs! Limit 2.
– $1 off – 11/14 SS
– .75 off – October All You
With any coupon, this is a moneymaker.
Eucerin Daily Skin Balance body lotion – Pay $6.99 and get $6.99 back in ECBs! Limit 1.
– $1 off – 11/7 RP
With coupon, this is a $1 moneymaker.
Gillette Odor Shield deodorant OR Old Spice Fresh Collection deodorant – Pay $4 and get $4 back in ECBs! Limit 1.
– $2 off Gillette deodorant – 10/31 PG
– B1G1F Old Spice deodorant – P&G 2010 “Year of Savings” coupon book
With coupon, this is a $2 moneymaker.
Listerine Pocketpaks – Pay $2.99 and get $2.99 back in ECBs! Limit 2
– .50 off – 10/10 RP, 8/1 SS, 5/16 RP, 4/11 RP, 3/7 RP
With coupons, these are .50 moneymakers.
If you do all of the above deals, buying one of each item, after coupons you’ll pay $16.15 and get $22.95 back in ECBs! YOU WILL GET PAID $6.80 to TAKE these products home!
BETTER DEAL SCENARIO: If you have the “100s of Gifts Under $10” catalog, pull the “Spend $20, get $4 in ECBs coupon out too. With the same scenario, you’ll get another $4 back in ECBS, making this a $10.80 moneymaker!
BEST DEAL SCENARIO: If you have any email coupons from CVS to work into this, it gets better too. I had a $5-off-$25, added a few more of the FREE-after-ECB deals from the ad and made another $5!
Check your coupons that print from the Coupon Center machine in the store as well. I had a $2-off-$6 shampoo coupon that worked in very nicely here too, resulting in another $2 saved/made! :)
But you don’t have to stop there… the following are all FREE after ECBs too. (I broke my trips up, and used the ECBs from the scenario above to buy some of the following…
CVS FREE-after-ECBs:
Advil PM 4ct. – Pay .99 and get .99 back in ECBS! Limit 1.
Excedrin 8ct. – Pay .99 and get .99 back in ECBS! Limit 1.
L.A. Looks Styling Gel – Pay $2.99 and get $2.99 back in ECBS! Limit 1.
Mars King Size candy bars (Snickers, 3 Musketeers, M&Ms, etc.) – Pay $1.59 and get $1.59 back in ECBS! Limit 5! (GOOD stocking stuffers!)
Philips In-Ear Headphones OR Universal Remote Control – Pay $6.99 and get $6.99 back in ECBs! Limit 1.
Reese’s Singles (Reese’s 2ct. Peanut Butter Cup, Reese’s BIG Peanut Butter Cup, Reese’s Pieces) Pay .79 and get .79 back in ECBs. Limit 5! (GOOD stocking stuffers!)
Renpure Organics Shampoo, Conditioner or Reconstructor – Pay $4.99 and get $4.99 back in ECBs! Limit 1.
– Note that some CVS stores are substituting Organix brand if Renpure is sold out – Organix generated the ECB for me.
– Also look for bottles of Renpure OR Organix with “Try Me Free” rebate hangtags. Keep your receipt and mail it in for a moneymaker!
Also at CVS, this one’s not FREE, but it’s very cheap:
Xtra 28-load laundry detergent – Pay $1.99 and get $1 back in ECBs! Limit 1.
– $1 off 2- 10/17 SS.
If you buy two, you’ll pay $2.98 after coupon and get .99 back – netting you two bottles for .99 each instead of one.
HAPPY SHOPPING these sales through SATURDAY!

… the limits may be higher on these. I bought the deodorant, and the receipt says I still have one more “Quantity to earn reward” showing – Renpure (well, I bought Organix, but it’s the same ECB) – still showing 1 more still available. So, the deodorant is likely a limit 2, the Renpure/Organix is also likely a limit 2.
Also, the “Spend $20, get $4 ECBs” is limit one per card – no need to grab extra books, as you will only be allowed one use.

This was my most fun trip ever since starting a few weeks ago. I paid $20.88 at the register, got $20.50 back in RR’s plus I also had milk and laundry detergent. I could really get used to being paid to shop.

I just got back from my Walgreens (McHenry). Did great. I am kind of new to this super-couponing so I am still learning all the subtle nuances but I am happy. I was able to get some Nivea shaving gel, Gillette Fusion Skin Care and Old Spice body spray for my son for his Christmas stocking. All for free after Register Rewards. I also got him some Scunci Hair Elastics as he has long hair; also free w/Register Rewards. And I got one bottle of the Centrum Silver vitamins which although advertised as $4.24 rang up for $3.49 making the final cost 24 cents after Register Rewards!! I also got four Cover Girl Lipstick for 99 cents each(10/31 RP $1/1 coupons). I had three Herbal Essences coupons for 50 cents/1 (11/14 RP) so I got three shampoos for 49 each! Four Olay Body Washes for FREE (10/31 P&G $1/1 coupons)- actually a 1 cent moneymaker on each. And one tube of Colgate Toothpaste as a money maker (11/14 SS $1/1 coupon). I also did the Advil, Robitussin, and ThermaCare deals. I’m going back tomorrow to roll some of my RR/cats for some more awesome deals including the BIC disposable razors, more shampoo, and Crest toothpaste! Sadly, they were out of the Oral-B toothbrushes.

The Centrum printable coupon says 150 count or larger – the sale is for the 30 count bottle – anyone else find a good coupon to match with this one?

Someone help me stop!! I cannot control myself!
I think over the past 3 days I’ve made 21 transactions! (across at least 6 Walgreens stores and never more than 2 transactions in a visit)
The sickest part (literally) is that I did it all for the Robitussen! I have never had a season with more coughing in my life and this is the one product that helps! The rest of those products were just gravy – I really wanted the Robitussen!

I did both CVS and Wags – at CVS I paid $27 and got back $45 in ECBs! The extra overage was from using previous ECBs, plus that $5 off $25 e-mail, plus I swiped my card at that coupon machine and got an ECB for any brand toothpaste, which of course was in my cart! The best part about my local CVS was that they had all that free stuff right in from of the store! Wow! They did everything but put in the cart for me!
My only regret was in not breaking up the transaction. Now I am stuck with $45 in ECBs to use up. Sure hope there are some good CVS sales in the next few weeks!
