Dominicks Grocery Deals

The new Dominick’s ad says “Prices in select stores may be lower than the prices in this ad” and “Items and prices in this ad may not be available in all stores.” If you’ve been following the blog over the past week, you know that many Dominick’s stores dropped non-grocery categories to 50% off last week. Baby products, diapers, etc. flew out the door, as did candy and other categories. Rumor has it that grocery categories in these stores will drop to 50% this coming 12/13.

As Dominick’s winds down its existence in Chicagoland, I have decided to stop blogging Dominick’s at the end of this month. I am doing best deals only from now on, and please keep in mind that the stores are not being restocked, so Dominick’s may not your best bet for your regular, weekly shopping any more. There is no guarantee as to what will or won’t be in stock anymore.

$2 Nutter Butter and Oreo cookies

10-16oz. Nutter Butter and Oreo cookies are on sale for $3. Use the $1 coupons from the Nabisco Back to School coupon books (found in stores in September) and pay $2.

$2.49 Bob Evans pork sausage

16-24oz. Bob Evans pork sausage rolls are $2.99. Buy two and use the $1-off-2 from the 11/24 SS to drop these to $2.49 each.

12-15oz. Nabisco tray packs are $3.49 with store ad coupon. Use the $1 coupon from the Nabisco Back to School book and pay $2.49.

Hi- Somebody over at MUM posted today that she was told that meat, produce and liquor are not going to be 50% off this Friday. They will go on sale the last week.. BTW- Somebody also said that the Dominick’s in Lincolnwood on McCormick and Pratt is being taken over by Cermak Produce. Anybody familiar with this chain? Thanks, Nancy

They have a store in Aurora that is great for fresh baked goods and produce. They have fabulos meat sales as well. You will see the flyer in your Wednesday mailers. I would be nice to have this store replace Dominicks for us locals in IL…
