I went to Dominicks yesterday to get the hefty bowls (1.49 – $1-off-2 = .99 each). The register beeped & said “2 manufacture coupon not accepted”. The cashier stated she couldnt accept the manufacture coupon. I spoke with customer service they said the eJFU coupons are manufacturer coupons. When they said this I knew they were way off and no manager was available. I called the 800 customer service line and they said I was totally correct and loaded a dollar on my preferred card. An hour later the floor manager called me and explained that the register was “rejecting the coupon for an unknown reason in this case they needed to force the coupon.” So no one can explain why the register beeped off, which is weird because I bought the Kens dressing which is the same kind of transaction and it went through fine.

Just a heads up…last two 7-bone roasts I bought from Dominick’s were so tough that they were inedible. I had to throw them both away after cooking them.

Hi- I was in the Dominick’s on Dempster and Dodge in Evanston today, and I found a lot of deals on frozen clearance. They had some Lean Cuisine and Kashi reduced 50%. All the Kashi is on sale for $3, and so 50% of that is $1.50 which is a good deal for Kashi which I really like. For any 3 Kashi bought, you also got 5x the gas rewards, and I had a 30% off one Kashi frozen item. I ended up getting that one item for $.60. I also got some Lean Cuisine for $1.14. When I checked out I got two checkout coupons. I got one for $1 off 4 Lean Cuisine, and I got another one for $2 off 4 Kashi. I ended up taking my groceries to the car, and going back in the store to get some more frozen dinners. When I did that I got more checkout coupons. I was tempted to go back and get some more Kashi, since with the coupon it was only $1, but I don’t have a lot of freezer space, and as it is I had problems fitting the 13 frozen dinners I purchased in my freezer. Maybe you can find these on clearance at your store too. They had Kashi spicy black bean enchiladas on clearance, and one of their chicken dish’s.
I spent $24 on the first transaction, but after I got out to the car, I realized that they did not deduct my J4U for $5 off $20, and so I had to go to customer service. She was nice, and told me that a lot of people have not had their $5 deducted. Check your receipt before you leave the store to make sure that it gets deducted.
