  1. I really liked deal match. That usually caused me to only shop at Dom’s rather than both stores.

  3. Hi- I wonder how much this is going to hurt Dominick’s business? When they started their J4U program, I started doing the majority of my shopping at Dominick’s, but there is less incentive to now. It seems like when they started their J4U program business started picking up. That is the only thing that got me back in the store.

  4. Hi- I got an email about this last night. My email also says that in my personalized deals for the next three weeks I will receive a coupon for $5 off $25. That helps a little bit, although I don’t know if I spend $25 there, or if I will just get one offer that is good for three weeks.

    I did not realize that this was a trial program just for the Chicago area. Thanks, Nancy

  5. I’ll miss the Deal Match program. I never knew it was a test program. I wish they had taken a poll of those of us who used it before ditching the program altogether. I had pretty much stopped shopping at Jewel because of the price matching. Jewel will be getting more of my business again. Does Dominick’s know that they’re sending us back to Jewel?

  6. I agree 100% with the other comments regarding that Deal Match allowed to shop Dominick’s without having to go to Jewel too. What a stupid decision!

  8. Deal Match was running as a test program in a limited number of our stores. While we have made the decision to end the program on July 23, 2013, this will allow our stores to focus on providing savings through just for U™ and our Gas Reward Points programs.
