Are you a member of Dunkin’ Donuts DD Perks® Rewards? This loyalty program launched back in January, and you can earn points toward free Dunkin’ Donuts beverages! With DD perks, you earn five points for every dollar you spend when you pay with an enrolled Dunkin’ Donuts Card or via the Dunkin’ Mobile® App. From lattes and croissants, to Coolattas and bagels, DD Perks rewards you for every purchase and every Dunkin’ run! When you reach 200 points, you receive a coupon for a free beverage of your choice!

DD Perks® passed the million member mark back in June and thanked its DD Perks® Rewards members by giving them 100 free bonus points. Now, they’re approaching the two million member mark, and they’ve got something even better in store for new members!

From December 1-5, 2014, enroll in DD Perks® via the Dunkin’ Mobile App using promo code “BLOG” to get a $5 virtual DD Card applied to your app upon enrollment! That’s a free $5 to spend at Dunkin’ Donuts! Remember, this promotion only runs from December 1 through December 5, 2014, so wait to enroll until then or you’ll miss out on this special $5 enrollment bonus!

Incredibly, despite my longtime love for Dunkin’ Donuts hot chocolates and maple frosted donuts, I was not aware of their DD Perks® loyalty promo prior to this announcement. I will be signing up for a Dunkin’ Donuts card so I can use it with DD Perks® with the Dunkin’ app once the $5 promo period begins on December 1st! Then, anytime I shop at Dunkin’ Donuts, I can use my Dunkin’ Donuts card to pay (either with the actual plastic card or the app) and start accruing points. If you don’t have a Dunkin’ Donuts card yet, you can set a new one up with any value from $2 to $100 on it.
