Grapefruits are in season, and there’s nothing sweeter (no pun intended!) than enjoying fresh fruit for breakfast. Or is there?

  12. Every time I eat a grapefruit it reminds me of my childhood. My grandparents would always have some around and serve it for breakfast. My dad hardly ate breakfast. However, when there was grapefruit, he would cut it in half and sprinkle it with salt and sugar. Never could eat it with sugar or salt.

    My daughter and I just love sitting together eating a whole grapefruit. It makes a great healthy snack. We peal the rind & skin off, and then we eat the ripe juicy pulp. We just love grapefruit season.

  13. I love grapefruit and my daughter recently became a semi-vegetarian (no red meat) so I am trying to keep on hand a variety of fruits and veggies for her so that she does not become too thin.

  92. My Fiance and I are trying to both coupon all of our food AND eat healthy. So much for all my free mac and cheese boxes from target….those went to my parents up in Woodstock. That recent Silk and Honey Bunches of Oats deal was a great thing for our fridge! Sometimes it is really hard to get all of my healthy food cheap or free with coupons. So for a while we are on just Soy Milk, Honey Bunches, and an endless supply of Activia! :) Hope we win! We love fresh fruit!
