Bumping UP from 9/28 as this is still going!
Do you ever throw away your Extra Care Bucks from CVS? I hope not, because all good coupon shoppers know that their ECBs are as good as cash for your next shopping trip at CVS/Pharmacy.
CVS has launched a “Money Trasher” pledge campaign. If you pledge NOT to throw out your Extra Care Bucks (and who would?) CVS will send you $2 in Extra Care Bucks! The offer is limited to the first 500,000 people who take the free pledge not to trash their cash…
Click to take the pledge and get your $2 in ECBs!

Mine only gave me 5 days to use it & I’m not a ‘regular’ CVS shopper, so I have to make a point of getting to one soon, hth!

I must be missing something here. Why does CVS care if we throw away our ECB’s???? I am a CVS fanatic and it is rare that I forget to use one. I don’t know why a customer would throw them away. And I don’t know why CVS would care. Don’t they make more money if we DON’T use them???? Or are they doing this because trashed ECBs attract Extreme Couponing dumpster divers?? I don’t understand.

About 2 months ago I had an ECB that had expired. When I rang out, the girl behind the register told me they still accept them, up to 30 days past the expiration date. When I went in yesterday, there was a big sign on the register that said “We no longer accept expired manufacturer or CVS coupons.” By the way, I purchased 2 boxes of OB tampons, 2 packages of the CVS brand wipes and a bottle of nail polish & paid $2.54!
