This is fun! Amazon is offering a FREE $5 Amazon Credit in free credit toward anything sold and shipped by Amazon when you download your choice of FREE apps! What’s wilder yet is that you don’t even need to install the app — just “buy” the free app in Amazon. (Apps shown above are among those included, but there are many more free apps that are part of the promo.)

Once you’ve “bought” your free app, the $5 credit will appear in your account. You need to use the $5 free credit by 2/26/16. Who couldn’t use a free $5 to spend on Amazon this time of year?

    • Just click “continue” when you receive the message that you aren’t using an Android-compatible device. The app will show up in your Amazon account. You do not actually need to download it to your phone to get the $5 — you just have to add it to your Amazon account as an item you’ve “purchased.”

  2. I purchased 3 of these apps today about 4 hours ago and have yet to see any credits in my account for $5. Has anyone else received theirs yet?
