If you’re as excited about the FREE game of bowling with proof of purchase of Musselman’s applesauce 6-pack offer as we are, it just got better…
We want to bowl this week, so I checked out prices on Musselman’s at Jewel. My Huntley Jewel has the 6-packs on clearance for $1.79! Buy two and use the .75-off-2 from the 1/6 SS1. You’ll pay $2.83 for two, or about $1.42 each! That’s under a dollar-fifty for six applesauce cups AND a free game of bowling!
Note that all of the Musselman’s varieties I found do contain high-fructose corn syrup in them. I was buying these more for the cheap-bowling aspect, but they’ll make a great donate item too if you’re avoiding HFCS.

Well, we decided to go bowling today. (Once the applesauce was in hand… why not?)
I would HIGHLY advise calling the bowling alley before you go. I followed all of the directions on Musselman’s website – visit http://www.gobowling.com and choose a bowling alley with the Musselman’s logo on it. Here’s a partial screenshot at right.
We chose the Brunswick Zone XL in Algonquin, as it was the closest to us. When we got there, the clerk said he didn’t think he could accept the vouchers and asked the manager to come over. She said that she would not accept them either as “we don’t know anything about it, they don’t have our permission to do this, we offer our own coupons.” I showed her the website where Brunswick Zone is clearly marked with a Musselman’s logo, and she said “We won’t get reimbursed for these coupons” and flat-out refused to take them. We felt bad because our kids have bowled in leagues at this location and it’s where we usually go to bowl – just a completely unexpected reaction.
We then went to Glo-Bowl in Marengo and had a great time – they had no issue whatsoever accepting the coupons and Musselman’s packaging.
