Today’s Chicago Tribune has a little story about more people buying freezers to stock up on food when prices are low. “Experts say consumers are trying to save money on food by buying in bulk.”
That’s one of the biggest principles that I teach… stock up when the price is low! Now, if you come to a Super-Couponing class… I’ll even tell you how to get a freezer like this for free.

Hi Jill, your post above states you tell at your super coupon classes how to get a freezer for free. I’m attending a class mid November and was curious if the free freezer topic is still discussed. I’m not sure if I can wait that long as I have dibbs and 1/2 gallon Edy’s ice cream busting at the seems. I had an incredible Avenue discount in conjunction with a Jewel Edy’s 1/2 gallon sale – you can’t pass up .50 cent icecream! As a side note, over the last week I’ve noticed Jewel lightening up on their recent scrutiny over coupon usage. (at least at my Jewel) Much more pleasant experience and they were very friendly and encouraging of the coupon usage.
One other question, I notice many of the sites we search based on your recommendations also have the coupon.com or smartsource links – are the offers the same no matter which site you link from? I have been linking from yours but was curious if additional offers/coupons are available when linking from more than one site. Thanks for everything Jill.
