Some CVS stores are now at 75% off post-holiday clearances, and in addition to Christmas candy and decorations, you can find some great buys too.
I went over to run some coupon deals this morning and ended up scoring some other good buys! Here’s what I found:
– A Discovery Kids play castle: Reg. $19.99 – paid $4.99 (shhh… don’t tell my niece!)
– Women’s winter boots: Reg: $9.99 – paid $2.49
– A Vivitar digital video camera: Reg: $34.99 – paid $8.75
– An Android 7″ tablet computer: Reg: $99.99 – paid $24.99
The Android tablets are usually kept behind the checkout counter, not in the aisle. If you see them behind the counter, have the cashier scan them – that is a SUPER, super price for a tablet! I have one just like this, but my husband was thrilled to score his own at such a low price.
Reader Monica emailed that she found a 13″ Craig LCD television with a built-in DVD player for $37.49, down from $149.99! Now that’s a score! Happy shopping!

Still at 50% today, but there was a big selection of toys left!

I was wondering what your thoughts are in regards to the tablet you just purchased?

had my mom stop off at CVS and they had the netbook/tablet combo for 24.99, she didn’t find the one you listed.

They are the combo one. We are a Apple family but kids are always waiting for their turn. Thought little ones can play with this one. Wondering if you can tell us if they have apps like the apple products. Can you just load games on it? Any tips would be great.
Thanks.

My CVS had both tablet versions and the store manager actually talked me out of buying either. He said in all honesty for every one they have sold, they’ve had one returned. I did however pick up the RCA TV/DVD combo for $37.49 and I got a Sylvania DVD Home Theater System that includes 5 speakers, a subwoofer and DVD Player for only $17.49. I bought it mainly for the DVD player, but am going to try out the speakers for kicks.

I got a microwave for my son’s dorm room for $14.99 (regular $59.99) 3-piece luggage set for $12.99 (regular $49.99)and a crock pot for $7.49 (regular $29.99). I also got lots of other smaller items for 75% off!

Has anyone come across more tablets? Our CVS in Bartlett had 10 last night , hubby picked up 2 (sadly, one didn’t work); he went back today to return it and they’re all sold out. Just wondering if anyone has been to a store that still has a few
