Here are some scenes from my kitchen yesterday. For the first time, my daughter helped me make pies. I love having all of the kids home, and we sang along to some Don Henley on the stereo, drank sugar Cokes, and enjoyed each others’ company in a warm sunny kitchen filled with the sweet scent of apples baking.
