It’s 1-2-3 day at Northern IL Goodwill stores: All clothing is $1.23!

Love to bargain hunt and score great thrift-store deals? Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois holds its $1.23 sale on the last Tuesday of every month. That’s today — February 28th!  All clothing and apparel items are just $1.23 during this once-a-month sale.

While I consider myself primarily a great-clearance-price shopper, Goodwill’s $1.23 sale is too much fun to skip. I’m heading over today to look for some “costume” clothing for my son to wear for a school project. 

Note that only Goodwill stores operated by Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois participate in the $1.23 sale. They are:  Algonquin, Crystal Lake, DeKalb, Freeport, Huntley, Machesney Park, McHenry, Ottawa, Rockford, Sterling, and Beloit, Wisconsin.
