Have you been out clearance clothes shopping — one of my favorite things to do in January? Whenever I’m out and about, I like to stop and see if I can find any clothing deals for the kids. (And sometimes, I find things for myself too..!)
I had an appointment in Crystal Lake today, so I stopped into the Kmart on Route 14 on the way home. Their children’s departments have quite a few 40% off and 60% off clearance racks, and there are some good deals, especially for young children.
And the clearance-watch goes on…

Harbaugh’s wife is appalled he’s buying $8 pants. I thought it was humorous…

I also love shopping the clearance sales this time of the year. I found in Sears in womens a $20 Elmo Vintage PJ top for $5.99. I had “5,000 surprise points” on my rewards card. I ended up only paying .92 for the shirt! Saving it for a birthday gift for my daughter – she will love it. Today I have $7 in surprise points! So if anyone has a rewards Sears card, check your email, to see if you have surprise points.

I went into Kohls last night to pick up one thing and decided to look at the clearance. They had girls summer dresses marked down to $4.80, regular price was $44. They also had some summer shirts maked down to $1.80. If you have the geocoupon app, there is a 20% off coupon on there.
