My thoughts: Not everything is good during this sale. Apply the same per-pound price approach we use for meats and apply it here.

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon will appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

  2. Sale on CBINB says selected varieties and the coupon is specific to the “Deliciously Simple” spread which is a newer variety. Does anyone know if this is one of the selected varieties in the sale?

  3. The kind bakers use for cookies and pastries. Crystal Lake Jewel in Xmas clearance aisle has 16 oz red cherry for .75 vs original price of $10.19! There are other varieties such as mixed and 8 oz containers also.

    Twinings Chai Keurig cups pumpkin spice and Black Tea Xmas flavors 12 ct are $1.50 each. And Betty Crocker pumpkin bar mixes .39 maybe coupons out there for this one.

That gives me a total of $51.88 before coupons or instant saving at register. will it work? I am a little worried because I can’t pay full price at this time. so it is $51.88 total minus $29.47 including instore savings at register MC and the $5off/$50. should be $22.41 is this right? thank you.

  6. I bought 6 boxes of Nature Valley granola bars and received a $3 OYNO Catalina.

    ((I bought six because that was what I needed to use all my coupons . . . I knew it was a buy in quantities of 5 sale . . so one was regular price at $2.47 which isn’t terrible with my coupon.))

  7. Hi- I was at the Jewel on Green Bay in Wilmette on Saturday, and they had tiny bottles of Tide near the registers for $1.99. Has anybody used any of their $3/2 coupons on it? The bottles are not marked trial size, but they are really small.

  8. I went to the Jewel in Cary, and bought 4 Ken’s Dressing and tried to use 4 coupons. They would only let me use 2. I called the customer service number and he even talked to his supervisor and told me that is the policy on B1G1 – you can onlyh use coupons on the purchased bottle not the free one.
    Has anyone else has this problem? From what Jill posts on here, I should have been able to use all 4 coupons?
