Link your MasterCard to your FRN account. Then, pay with your MasterCard when you shop at Jewel-Osco, and you’ll earn a .05/gallon reward for every $50 spent in store. Your fuel rewards points are redeemable at Shell gas stations.

If you wear your Chicago Bears jersey on any 2013 Bears football game day, Jewel will take 10% off your grocery bill! This is after all coupons, and is not valid on prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco and other usual exclusions.

The last game day of 2013 is Dec. 29 against the Packers. GO BEARS!

Jewel’s Rachael Ray Dinnerware promotion is coming to an end soon. Turn in your dinnerware stamps before the end of the year…

Jewel’s coupon policy allows shoppers to apply manufacturer coupon overage to other items in the same transaction. It also allows two manufacturer coupons to be used on a Buy One Get One Free sale. However, the registers are currently programmed to adjust coupons down to match the sale price of an item, and to scan the second coupon on a B1G1F at $0.00. Corporate has stated that the cashiers are supposed to manually enter the overage and second B1G1F coupon.

Watch very closely with two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free. The second coupon will appear to scan fine, but it will show as $0.00 at the register. Be prepared to call on your cashier to manually adjust this for you immediately if they do not intervene.

 If you anticipate any issues with this, I would recommend carrying a copy of Jewel’s coupon policy, which outlines both of these issues clearly.

You do not need to use your Preferred Card to receive sale prices anymore. But if you want to use SavingStar ecoupons and Jewel’s own ecoupons, continue to use your card.  Don’t discard it if you have Fuel Rewards on the card, or if you intend to continue using ecoupons at Jewel! SavingStar has confirmed they will still continue their offers at Jewel. We have also noticed that you get many more Catalina coupons (the per-product kind that are for specific items, like “.75 off Prego pasta sauce”) when you use your Jewel card, as your purchase history is tied to it.
